Regularly eat here and really love it.. The food is always tasty and their 'lunch box' and 'apres work' deals are fantastic value.. The staff are always super friendly and if your in at weekends they have an in house magician to entertain. Also offer a very nice selection or very reasonably priced cocktails. My only complaint would be that on occasion the service can be a tad slow but the quality of the food and the prices will keep me coming back time and time again.

Have been to this cafe several times and I Love it.. The decor is delightfully quaint and the mis-matched crockery adds to the over all effect. the tables are a little close together which can make moving around a bit difficult at times. The service could be a little quicker but all the staff are extremely pleasant and friendly. The food is exceptional, home made and very tasty. Prices are ok but could be a little lower. My only main complaint is that one of my favourite items are the range of scones they do.. however the last few times Ive been in (around lunch time) they've been completely sold out with no intention of baking more.. This has happened approx 4 times in two weeks. For this kid of place Id think that they should have a better gauge of how many they will need, or at least have the option of baking more if they do run out. But all in all a nice place to visit

The Exchequer Wine Bar (Ranelagh)
19 Ranelagh, Ranelagh, Dublin

Visited the Exchequer on Saturday for their bottomless brunch to celebrate a friend\'s birthday. There was a group of 8 of us, all between 27 and 33 and working professionals. The dogs we ordered was average, albeit it took quite a while to arrive, it was tasty but nothing special. However, the whole experience was soured when after 5 bottles of persecco (between 8 of us) our waiter approached us not only to tell us that there was an unwritten house rule of 1.5 bottles per person but also lecture us about drinking more slowly and not topping up our glasses so much and to drink more water because of we weren\'t careful we\'d be cut off.. for a start if you are advertising a bottomless persecco brunch it then makes no sense to have a house limit and basically equates to false advertising. And secondly having wait staff speak to paying customers as though they were children is completely outrageous and unacceptable. After this experience none of us will be returning in the future.

Brady 's
Clock House, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

This is a very friendly place to go for a bite to eat. Went here in late afternoon on a Tuesday and way fairly quiet.. All the staff were very friendly and even made recommendations as to what was particularly good.. I opted for the chicken and mushroom vol-au-vent start as a main course with a side of mash.. Got to large vol-au-vents piled full with even more of the creamy chicken piled of the plate, and the 3-4 scoops of mash in a bowl. It was piping hot and absolutely delicious and excellent value at only 10euro. lovely homely, welcoming atmosphere will definitely be back!!!

Mes Amis
37 Upper Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

This place is an absolute gem. Its quite small and the menu isnt massive but that being said there is a good selection and something to suit everyone. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly. The decor is quaint. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.. The steak ciabatta is particularly nice. Definitely worth a visit!!!

The Bakery
Church st, Wicklow Town, Wicklow Town, Wicklow

By far my favourite bakery in Dublin. Everything is always so well presented and looks so tempting. I go time and time again for the particularly yummy brown scones.. Prices are very good and the staff are always very friendly. Most definitely a hidden gem if you have a sweet tooth.. Only downside is a lack of seating

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Found the food here to be delicious, Had the steak on a stone, reasonably priced and well presented. The day I was there found the service a tad on the slow side but the safe were very friendly. Central location and tasty food make it well worth a visit
