It was our third visit to the Real Gourmet Burger but it was the first time we got in! The previous 2 times we didn't wait the 40 minutes to get in! But this time it was only a 10 minute wait but well worth it! I had the Mediterranean lamb burger with the homemade chips & garlic sauce (I loved the chips) and my husband had the cheeseburger. We will be back as he wants to try the venison burger - I'll stick with the lamb burger!! The staff are great & helpful as we have a noisy 20mth old with us!

We had a fantastic meal in the Saddle Room last Friday night. It was very busy and had a great Friday night atmosphere. The staff were really lovely but a little slow to start off with. For starters, I had a beautiful tomato soup and a giant crouton covered with goats cheese. My husband had a jumbo prawn cocktail & 3 carlingford oysters. For mains, I had an impressive 18 oz t-bone steak (& red wine shallot sauce) and my husband had a sumptuous rack of wicklow lamb served with a potato gratin. The side orders were so good that we ordered 5 of them: onion rings (wow!), spinach, mash, sauteed mushrooms and organic irish fries(disappointing). My husband had a g&t, I had a 7up and a bottle of sparkling water. We weren't able for desert but next time we will definitely try their fantastic cheese board. Our total bill came to €145 (ex tip). We loved it - for a lovely atmosphere and a bit decadence! We'll be back!

McCabes Wines, The Gables, 1 Torquay Road, Dublin 18 , Foxrock, Dublin

We used a voucher for the express breakfast. It was absolutely gorgeous and great value too! It is a lovely venue in a lovely location - pity the parking is a bit of a pain but that won\'t put me off going back!

Gotham South
4 Kilmacud Road Lower, Stillorgan, Dublin

We visited for the first time yesterday at lunchtime. In a nutshell, it was a total success! Sometimes dining out can be hit and miss with our son as he's not into pancakes or French toast but not on this occasion! He loved the sausage and bacon bap with chips. Our daughter had the pancakes (the portion could be bigger!). My husband and myself shared the hickory ribs (fab), wings (ok), the steak sandwich (fab) and the Moroccan lamb burger which was also fab too! The waitress was super. It's great to find somewhere that we were all happy with the food and has free parking outside! We will definitely be back!

The Egg Cafe (Avoca Rathcoole)
Naas Road, Rathcoole, Dublin

Visited at 11am on bank holiday Monday and the place was buzzing! \n\nThe food is lovely but we were at a slight disadvantage as my husband is allergic to cream! The scrambled eggs and herb mushrooms are cream based. He was happy as the had the bacon & sausage bap - these are gourmet sausages and not for everyone! My daughter loved the pancakes but unfortunately there was nothing on the menu for my son - he had the toast for €4 but they\'re not for children really. \n\nI would recommend The Egg Cafe but would love if they expanded their w/end breakfast menu for children say with hash browns and regular sausages!!

Gotham Cafe
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had brunch here today. I had the smoked bacon & cheese bagel and my husband had the chicken baguette - he had to ask for the 2nd piece of ciabatta to actually make a sandwich! While the staff were overly helpful the food was really disappointing and tasteless - we won't be back.

Mao Restaurant (Dun Laoghaire)
The Pavillion, South Co, Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

We are regulars at Cafe Mao in Dun Laoghaire. We've tried their other restaurants but they just don't compare for overall ambience, decor and comfort. We regularly visit with our 20mth old son and have always been accommodated with a bench seat and colouring crayons. We love the food, 5 spice chicken is my favourite and my husband enjoys their various seafood dishes - whole sea bass/salmon etc. It is a little pricey but is totally worth it as we're assured of a really enjoyable meal every time!

Absolutely great place - will definitely be back - everybody enjoyed their meals and will definitely be back. They also gave us all a free sambuca! It’s great that you can bring beer & wine. Loved it!
