Visited the Winding Stair Restaurant with friends on Saturday night. It was so busy we could only get a table at 10pm. But it was well worth the wait. The service was what you would expect of a top restaurant with helpful suggestions by the waiter. We had a window seat which added to the great ambience, looking out over the Liffey. The Irish sourced quality food was wonderful. I had boxty with baked mushrooms and blue chhese for starter, Really nice Hake for main course and apple and pear cobbler with honeycomb ice cream for desert. We all had different food but all equally mouth watering. Will definitely be back again, booking well in advance next time.

Had been planning for a long time to visit Barrtra seafood restaurant . Delighted with the ambience and views on a sunny evening. However the service was pretty bad. We were shown to a table and left there for almost 15 mins before getting a menu. After getting the menu we waited a long time before getting water or wine. The food was very nice but you need more staff if customers are to return.

McHugh’s Wine & Dine Restaurant
59 St. Assam's Park, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin

Great place for a family lunch. Good lunch menu, very reasonable and my choices of spicy chicken wings ,tiger prawn linguini and brownie were all delicious. Apple tart tatin ordered by my mother was not popular. My brother forgot to tell her he'd had it before and was disappointed also. Choose the brownie!

Cliff Townhouse

Graduation lunch so the restaurant had the right special atmosphere. Front of house staff almost brusque - not welcoming at all. Meal very nice and as sun was shining it made a nice finish to a memorable morning.
