We had the special Dinner menu here after reading reviews on Menupages all I can say is glad we did. The service was top of the range and nothing was too much to ask and everytime the staff passed us the inquired if all was ok. My wife had a starter of chicken salad with lime and mango which she is still raving about. I had the veg soup which was very tasty and there was a basket of bread put on the table, the waitress said if we required more just ask.For the mains we had Steak with garlic butter herself and I had the half duck both of which were both great dishes and the sides of which there were lots of really made it,, The deserts we had pavlova herself and I had the cheesecake, We could not finish all the food that we were given and all for 25 euro per person including a half bottle of wine. Next time we are down in Bunratty we will be eating here again. Great food and service.

Scholars Townhouse Hotel & Restaurant
King Street, Drogheda, Co. Louth, Drogheda, Louth

We dined here for the 1st time after friends recommended it to us. The setting of the restaurant is something to be seen. The food really was 1st class I had crab & pickled cucumber starter with chicken supreme as the main course followed by apple and blackberry trifle. My wife had starter of pulled pork terrine with pork belly and garlic mash as the main followed by panna cotta with ginger, Everyone of the dishes were top of the range. We asked the waiter to recommend a white wine his choice as a very nice Australian which was way too easy to drink and really went with all of the courses it was great value as well at only 28 euro a bottle. I have to say that my better half wants to go back again as soon as possible and we will be back soon..

Bombay House
24 Strand Street, Skerries, Dublin

We went here as I had a voucher and had heard that some of the staff were from a place that we use to go. I have to say it was very good value for the standard of food we got unlike some other places we had used vouchers. We both enjoyed the experience and will return again.

Bombay Bistro
55, Main Street, Rush, Rush, Dublin

We used a Menupages Deal to eat here which was good for a Saturday night. This resturarunt has changed ownership since we last eat in it. The 1st thing we noticed is that the menu has changed. My wife found her starter too spicy the waiter did not have a problem changing it for her in fact it was his suggestion and he checked that the new starter was ok with her They even suggested that they would make her main course milder then normal. A very nice touch at the end of the night after we paid our bill was a drink for the both of us on the house. We will be back again for a number of reasons the food of course and the fact that we can walk home as the restaurant is local to us. Thanks for a great night.

Raffs on the Corner
65/67 Church Street, North Co. Dublin, Skerries, Dublin

We went here on a Saturday night which was quite busy we were not waiting long to be seated after we arrived. We both had steak on the stone which was very popular with a lot of the customers. So much that the amount steaks been served and their smoke caused the fire alarm to go off a number of times. The food was good and service was very good. We will eat here again and try more of the menu.

Creamery Bar & Restaurant The
Old Bunratty Road, Bunratty, Clare

We had lunch here both of us having Panini of ham, cheese and tomato and with a hot drink it really hit the sport. Service was very good and friendly. A nice spot for a drink and food when in the area in a friendly pub.

Mac's Pub
Bunratty Folk Park, Bunratty, Clare

We stopped in here on a wet Monday after walking around the folk park very glad we did. We just had tea & scone. But the welcome we got was a lot more then we expected. The waitress Sarah was a gem with lots of suggestion of where we should visit and gave us the whole history of the bar. She even gave us a taste of the Honey Mead that really hit the spot. We would recommend it to everyone that visits the folk park to drop in here also the tea & scone with jam and cream was top of the range. Just like mother use to make.

Round Room Restaurant
Bunratty Castle Hotel, Bunratty, Clare

We had dinner here as part of a stay and unlike our experience in the bar all I can say is very glad we did. We both had starter of soup with special baked brown bread. For mains we had both had belly of pork with mash and cabbage mmmm can still taste it now. The desert was treacle pudding with pistachio nuts and toffee sauce. We asked the waitress for a recommendation of wine and she suggested an Italian red which complemented the meal very well, The service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly who had plenty of time to make sure that everyone in the restaurant was happy with their meal. We would eat here again

Kathleen's Pub & Restaurant- Bunratty Castle Hotel
Bunratty Castle Hotel, Bunratty, Clare

We were staying in the hotel for a 2 night break. So we thought that we would have a snack in this bar as we had just arrived. All I can say is what a mistake it was to do that. We ordered a toasted sandwich and the Chowder with tea for me and a pot of hot water for my wife. I have no idea what the waitress was thinking the place was not that busy. But she brought out Veg soup for me and the sandwich for my other half. I said to waitress that I ordered the Chowder she then took soup away and told me I would have to wait while she got me the chowder which in itself was ok. She brought me out the chowder and the tea but no hot water for my wife. By the time I had my chowder my wife was nearly finished her sandwich which she washed down with the coke I had bought when we arrived at the bar which was just as well, because the waitress went missing. We finished the snack without the hot water and asked for the bill, we were left sitting for 10 mins before anyone came with it. We paid and had to wait for another 10 mins for our change. Now normally we would leave a tip but on this occasion we left without leaving one. I would never go here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Citron @ Fitzwilliam Hotel
The Fitzwilliam Hotel, St Stephen's Green, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We used a Menupages Deal for our visit to this Restaurant on the way to the NCH. We found the staff more then helpful as my wife could only have the Coeliac option. They explained what the ingredients of each course and the Chef even offered to make a special Brownie for her dessert which we thought was a very nice touch. The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. This will not be our last visit to this restaurant and would recommend it to all our friends . Thanks to all the staff for a great evening.
