The Alamo is a very customer friendly restaurant. The staff we encountered on our visit were most helpful and accommodating. We were seated quickly and or order was taken very promptly. The food when it arrived was excellent and very hot and tasty. Mains like wise were excellent. However I would advise going there hungry as their portions are very generous. Overall good food and good value. A must when in enniscorthy.

Ryan's & F.X. Buckley Steakhouse Parkgate Street
28 Parkgate Street, Dublin 8, City Centre South, Dublin

We stayed close to home with this restaurant. We were greeted swiftly and offered any table to sit at even though there was only two of us ( nice touch ). Were given menus and wine list ( which is very impressive ) . Our order was taken swiftly. When food arrived it was a bit of a let down, the prawns had way to much butter on them. For m/c I ordered sirloin. Cooked okay but obviously not seasoned before cooking, side order of champ very bland and again no seasoning. A little over priced. Would I try it again? Yes I would because the service stood out from everything else. I think we dealt with the Manageress but she was superb.

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Had an opportunity to eat here last Monday. When we arrived we were left standing by the door for approx 5 mins while waitress after waitress passed us by. When we eventually seated we asked to sit in a section with padded seats rather than the school chairs!! that were available. The order was taken promptly and the food arrived post haste. We shared a starter which was very tasty and then I had a sirloin for m/c which was cooked exactly as requested. My wife had the pork chops which were very good indeed. Good food, great location, very reasonable. However if you are looking for a quiet night out choose elsewhere.

Forde's Restaurant ( Crescent Quay)
Crescent Quay, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford

I had tried fordes in it's early days and wasn't that impressed. Not much has changed in recent years. The restaurant look dated and needs some work done. The food at best was average. I ordered the lemon chicken from the starters, unfortunately there was more lemon in the iced water at the table. My partners chicken was not just overdone but badly burnt, when this was mentioned to the waitress we received a shrug of the shoulders. All in all not a very good experience, and very over priced for what you receive

Taste (Wexford)
1 Selskar Avenue, Wexford, Wexford Town, Wexford

I have had the pleasure of eating in taste in the last few months since they have opened, most recently last night. Everything about this restaurant says class at very affordable prices. Fantastic atmosphere, excellent service and food that a michelin star restaurant would be proud off. If you haven't eaten there then you are missing out in a major way. Go to taste, you will not be dissapointed.
