El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 10th August 2009 ( visited 12th May 2009 )Since we came our problems started. We had reservation for 4 people but when we came it wasn't any free table for us.We waited around 20 minutes. When we finally sat waiter informed us that we need to leave table in one hour and half for the next guest because restaurant is busy.Waiting for food above 40 minutes which came almost cold.Despite nice interiors this place has nothing to offered.

We dined in Isabel's for my birthday dinner and we left soo dissapointed. First of all it was incredibly warm inside the restaurant, so we decided to take a table next to the main door. After the starter we waited for around 1 hour for our mains!!! When the food arrived my partner's steak was totally burned and bitter as a result. He took a second chance on his main and ordered risotto. And there was another huge dissapointment. He got risotto which was so liquidy that in fact it was like soup with rice and mushrooms. Not edible at all. My main was fine as well as both starters. We did not pay full price because menupages voucher. Otherwise paying the full bill it would be money wasted.

The Butcher Grill
92 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin
We spent wonderful New Year's evening here. This is small, great restaurant with very cosy feeling. We loved it. Food was delicious, staff was super nice and background music amazing. Highly recommended.
19 Crane Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Very different way to serve pizza. And it is good one. Pizza with leeks was delicious and was enough for me and my boyfriend. Great lemonade was served in jars (great idea!). Interior design is very interesting, kind of industrial mixed with vintage. We will be back for sure.
Gilbert & Wright, Hollybrook Park, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin
We had beautiful dinner here on Friday evening. Four of us enjoyed our food very much.Every dish was simply delicious and beautifully presented.Wine was divine. Simple, modern and stylish decor of the restaurant is a joy for the eyes. There is great value for money too.
Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
It was quiet mid-week night in The Port House. Except our table only two others were occupied. First I ordered glass of red porto wine. When I got it I discovered that my wine is warm like a soup. I was not able to drink it. My partner went to complain. I got it another glass of white wine this time. And a fly was in it. We complained one more time and unfortunately waiter did not react at all. He seemed to not see a problem at all. It's a pity because we were in that place few times before and were always rather happy.
74 Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin
I had awful early dinner here with my partner. Food was so bad that we left half of our food untouched. That has happened first time in my life. Place was empty and service was very poor. Waitress wasn't even interested on checking on us. Not recommended.
Dax Cafe Bar
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin
We went for tapas with party of 6.We had 4 deal vouchers. It was very inconvenient sitting on the sofa and 3 stools around two very small tables. Food and wine was delicious though. Place was extremely busy and noisy so we couldn't hear each other unfortunately.
The Exchange Restaurant and Cocktail Bar
The Westin Dublin, At College Green, Westmoreland Street, City Centre South, Dublin
We went for mid week dinner to The Exchange Restaurant. When we arrived restaurant was almost empty so all staff attention focused on us which was great comparing to other busy restaurants where waiter does not have time to even look at you. Food was divine. We had 3 course dinner and every bite was such a pleasure!!! Great service and beautiful modern interior design.

Beautuful dining!!! Very small and romantic resturant.Tables have generous space around so we didn't feel intimate by other clients. I went with boyfirend and friend who is French and chef himself. All of us enjoyed food very much. Service was excellent. They were like ghost ,we could feel them, they served our wine through the dinner and they didn't disturb as at all.Very professional. Staff has very good intuition and their service was simply excellent.Pricey but worth it. We will come back there some evening for sure.
20 Merrion Street Upper, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
As a big fans of good food we go once a month to different restaurant to enjoy ourselves and try something new. This restaurant was definitely overcrowded and so noisy that we couldn't hear each other despite tiny table. Tables are so close to each other that we felt a bit uncomfortable. Few different member of staff serves to our table so we were quite lost and confused. Food was very good though.
One Pico Restaurant
5-6 Molesworth Place, Schoolhouse Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
We went for dinner during the week.Food was excellent. Service even better. It wasn't noisy at all,so we could enjoy conversation. Every table has own space around, enough to feel comfortable.A bit pricey, but definitely was worth it. Excellent sommelier.
