Awesome restaurant. The food was great, real american style and real big portions! Staff were extremely friendly and polite. The Buffalo Wings were fantastic. I was really comfortable here. They even have Root Beer here sometimes! It's a little out of the way in a housing estate but they give great directions if you ring them first. I will go to Galway again just to eat here, loved it.

Amazing value, excellent all you can eat buffet with so much choice. They seem to have everything, at least in the evenings, including duck pancakes, deep fried squid, mussels, many different types of chicken. You can eat as much as you like and can work out great value, had our Christmas do here and it worked out perfect.

Himalayan Spice CLOSED
31 Upper John Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Went here on a Monday night and the place was dead. However, the food was still great and we had a great meal. I found the service very good, there was more than the one waiter working that night even though they didn't seem to need more than one. The food was great, I wasn't especting anything special but I was very surprised for somewhere outside Dublin. Would definitely come back to this place. Oh, and of all the places I ate in Kilkenny, this was the cheapest and probably the best.

Mao Restaurant (Dun Laoghaire)
The Pavillion, South Co, Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Had a very good Pad Thai that was massive and could have fed three people. Good restaurant have been there a few time and would definitely go again. Very big and in a good location.

The Bay Restaurant @ Walters
68 Georges Street Upper, South Co. Dublin, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Excellent restaurant, one of the best steaks I have had in Ireland. Very good value too, the set menu is unbeatable and the steak is available on it. The service is excellent and there is a great personal touch.

Siam Thai (Andrews Street)
14/15 Andrews Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Excellent restaurant in Dublin City, food is always good and very healthy portions. Staff always helpful and try to accommodate when it's busy. Advised to book in advance. Prices seem to have gone up a lot since opening though.

Ripleys Steak House
Butterslip Lane (off Kieran St), Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

I did enjoy my meal here but for a steakhouse the steak wasn't the greatest. Found the black forest cheesecake a bit too rich, would try a different dessert next time. Starter was the best part of the meal.

Siam Thai (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Excellent food and very good portions. Really enjoy this place and very good decor. Be advised to book in advance, staff are less than helpful otherwise.

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

One of my favourite restaurants and one of the best places to eat in Dundrum Town Centre. Great chicken, good choice of fillets or chicken on the bone. Highly recommended. Only criticism is that prices aren't as good as they are in UK Nandos.

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

Excellent burgers, much better than other fancy burger chains out there. Better value too. Restaurant has fun 'Beano' style menus. Good choice of meats and veggie burgers, one of my favourite restaurants in south Dublin. Only criticism is the music is quite loud and can be quite hard to talk over it.
