Four of us dined here on a Sunday evening at the end of March (2014) and had a really enjoyable meal.  At first glance  it may appear expensive but not for what we were served.  Starters are from €4.50 (soup)  to €13.50 (crab claws), mains from €19.50 to €25.  A seafood platter (which 3 of us ordered ) was €29.50 but was well worth it - brill, monkfisk, prawns and scallops served with potato, red cabbage, carrots, onion and courgette. Other options included beef, duck and hake.  Starters included soup,  chowder, prawns, crab claws, goats cheese.  To start we were served bread with a very tasty olive tapenade.  Wines ranged from 19 to 35.nnRestaurant is family run and all the staff are friendly and helpful.nnWill definitely return when next in glengarriff.  I would book to be sure of a table.  The restaurant is small and cosy -the evening we were there it looked as if it could cater for about 24 people but presumably tables
