Brasserie 7
The Capel Building, Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

This is a fourth time we were dining here. The atmosphere is wonderful: they have added new furniture and the restaurant looks bigger, brighter. The food was outstanding as usual: superior presentation, delicious! Our host was very attentive, and I feel bad I don't know her name, she was always looking after us, making sure we were happy with the service. I would definitely recommend Brasserie 7, and surely we're coming back very soon. Regards. O.B.

Charming Noodles
105 Parnell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Booked voucher via menupages and got the table on the day. The restaurant is small but is conveniently located 2 mins walk from the end of O’Connell Street. The waiting staff is polite, and looking after you. It takes some time for them to bring out the food; meaning that it’s all freshly cooked by the chef. Portions are nicely presented and food is tasty. Had grilled prawns for starter, crispy duck and sizzling beef for main, drinks. Overall very happy. It’s a great value for what you get. Regards. O.B.

Murrays Bar & Grill
33-34 O'Connell St Upper, O'Connell St, Dublin

Had a chance to visit Murray’s several times, this time was as good as previous. I like the atmosphere here, it’s lively and fun, very traditional. The food is great, thanks to extensive menu; the best wings in town so far. Lovely presentation; especially fish & chips. Did not have a chance to visit Murray’s on a show night, yet believe that the atmosphere will thrill anyone, loads of dancing and entertainment. Special mention to the host, she’s always around to make sure that your dining experience is great, same can say about the man at the bar, never had a chance to get their names. You’re doing a great job, keep it up. Regards. O.B.

Frite Haus
87 Camden St, Camden Street, Dublin

This is a second time we had a chance to dine at FriteHaus. The menu is simple and great; burgers, hot dogs, salads and wings, loads of sauces to chose from. We have ordered two burgers and chicken wings for a starter; portions came well presented and very big. I am not sure, but I think that they actually cook buns and burger meat on site which is perfect if you’re looking to run from places who dare to serve frozen burger meat and shop buns. The host was lovely, very attentive, welcoming and surely knew place like his very own, maybe it was? Just an addition to hospitality here. Will be back again, great value, fresh food, delicious! Regards. O.B.

Wings Gourmet Burger
Unit C, 46/49, Opposite Gresham Hotel, O'Connell St, Dublin

Had voucher for burgers and fries for 2, called to make a booking an hour before we planned to dine at Wing’s, received straight confirmation. The person on the call was very polite, and I think it was the same young girl who served us at the Wing’s. The service was swift and uncomplicated, we were given enough time to go through extensive burger menu. Burgers arrived hot, good presentation, however we found chips over fried yet never asked to change them. We had a pleasure of dining here on two different occasions before and simply remember how good the chips were when Wing’s just opened. Overall; the café was decorated for Halloween and was well maintained, clean, and warm. We enjoyed our lunch and will come back. The waitress was very attentive and friendly, won’t remember her name. Regards.

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Somehow Carlos became my lunch place, and I was there several times. There is nothing special about the ambience or waiting staff; they are always extremely busy, new-starts and don’t rush much to serve or even clear, however …that’s not the end of the world. I appreciate location and food; simple menu with quick options, affordable and tasty. Stake on the stone is something I would surely recommend; served on the stone with a chips and a selection of sauces, very catchy and tasty. Pasta is light and filling, so is the beef stroganoff. It’s a lovely place to have a quick bite, yet don’t plan a glamourous party here, it won’t really meet your expectations. Overall, I would remain a loyal client, just really appreciate the value for meals here, very competitive. Thanks.

Ichiman Japanese & Thai Restaurant (Lower Liffey Street)
20 Lower Liffey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

Let me be very honest, and I’ll just say it; this is a little gemstone! Been here twice, and both times left happy, entertained, satisfied, wanting to come back for more of the same. Few things will make up your dining experience here; 1) menu is very extensive, 2) waiting staff is always around and never ignores or forgets about you, keen to recommend and ask for opinion, 3) value – yes, it’s affordable. Spoil yourself with Bento selection, especially sushi, it’s fabulous and very filling. Smile to the funky panda bear rise which chef cooks for you, a little something they do to make you even happier, try Chef’s special sushi select, that’s 22 pieces of sushi to share for about 20Eur and surely soup; this one has a lot of sea-food including calamari, crab and many more sea creatures. Everything is served in traditional way, with plenty of cutlery, cooked to perfection. The staff here is cultural, you actually want to nod back when the waitress serves, pleasure to be here. We felt very welcomed and looked after, surely planning out next visit. I would absolutely recommend to come here for a great dining experience. Thanks.

10 Thousand World Buffet (O'Connell Street)
46 - 49 O'Connell Street Upper, City Centre North, Dublin

Been here over five times by now and never found a reason to complain. I am usually very fussy about a lot of different things. Absolutely love the waiting staff here; especially the chef who is always ready to cook Teppanyaki for us; beef and prawns are great! The salad bar here is extensive and always fresh, grateful for the selection of sushi; usually 5 types and always refilled, no need to ask. It is interesting to witness a selection of European cuisine such as lasagne, mashed, pasta when it seems that the place is all Asian and oriental. The price is affordable and, atmosphere is far not the worst, with plenty tables and chairs, even though it might be packed during rush hours, - chef is around to refill the buffet, again no need to ask. Waiting staff clears tables right away, offers water in jugs without being approached and asked for a refill. Overall, I like this place for its simplicity and variety, surely it’s tasty, too. Thanks.

El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Booked table for 2, we had a voucher and were keen to check on El Bahia since I have heard a lot good about the restaurant. To be honest, it’s been 3 years, and I never went there. We were the first guests to arrive, greeted by a host who showed us to the table on the second floor, we were delighted to know that our table was right to the window overlooking Grafton Street. The menu was extensive and too tempting, it took us some time to pick starters and mains. The waitress, I wished I could remember her name, was absolute treasure; smiley, welcoming and entertaining. We felt that she gave us enough time to select the dish. The pate was great, so were the grilled peppers, however I have overseen a girl next table ordering muscles and would surely recommend them, fabulous presentation! Our mains were splendid; rabbit and cow tongue, all served in traditional way. Piping hot and delicious. Unfortunately we did not order anything sweet since we felt like we had enough food. I would highly recommend El Bahia for the level of service; very welcoming, ambience is special, makes you forget that you’re in European capital. Delightful experience and absolutely worth the visit. Thanks.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Booked lunch 24 hours before the actual date. Got immediate confirmation. That’s Friday lunch! Arrived 2 hours later, which was no problem, found Mary on the phone understanding when explained that we were running late. Arrived to be greeted by smiled host, we were offered table by the window, the only window table in the restaurant. Great! Ordered burger and speciality sandwich with selection of sides and wine for 2. Everything arrived fast, looked delicious, and tasted fabulous. Portions are very big with special twist and catchy presentation, chef did a great job, no doubts! We were served by two waitresses, both very polite, the type which leaves you alone to your meal and gives time to go through the menu, to really enjoy the ambience. We left very happy and will surely be back. It’s a great place to dine, been here few times and never doubted it. Wonderful experience. Thanks.
