Holywell Il Molino restaurant
Bridge Mills, O’Briens Bridge, Galway, Galway City, Galway
Reviewed 12th September 2008 ( visited 13th July 2008 )This restaurant is excellent value for money and is especially good for group dining. The pizza's are nice however, the selection is limited to vegetarian only. The ice-creams are really nice, particularly the blueberry and raspberry. the setting is lovely and the staff are very nice and accomodating. It is the type of restaurant that you can't visit too often as the menu is fairly limited in choice but overall, it's a nice place to eat.

Reviewed 10th September 2008 ( visited 16th August 2008 )I went here a few weeks ago for a friends leaving do. Its just perfect for group dining. It is reasonably priced, most of the dishes were very tasty and the service was excellent. The Karaoke downstairs makes it a greatstaff night out. i'll definately be back.
12 Quay Street, Galway City, Galway
I have eaten here a few times and i found both the food and the service hit and miss. The pizza's can me nice sometimes, however they can be overcooked and last tme i was there, it was worse than a frozen pizza. the pasta's and seafood dishes are tasty though. The service is very hit and miss. Sometimes, it is excellent and other times, it can be bad. As with all Quay Street eateries, it is overpriced for what you get.
161 Salthill Road, Galway City, Galway
I really enjoyed Pantai. It is a nice restaurant with a good atmosphere. the food is lovely although as in most restaurants, the squid was overcooked. Other than that, the food, wine and service was excellent.
Middle Street, Galway City, Galway
Milano's pizzas are consistently good. You never leave too disappointed. For all round good pizza's, go to Milano's. There isn't much competition in galway but there are lot nicer pizzeria's in dublin.
McDonagh's Seafood House
22 Quay Street, Galway, Galway City, Galway
McDonaghs has a great reputation but the quality of food is very poor. the fish just simply isn't good. the chips are far too greasy. You do get big portions and its worth getting the chips once in a while but this is a highly overrated establishment.
Kashmir Indian Restaurant
Kilderry House, Lower Fairhill Road, Galway City, Galway
This is a nice restaurant and good vaue for money. I would advise on not getting any chicken dish here. The chicken has a rubbery feel to it. I would never get it again. Howvere the lamb bhuna is delicious. I would recommend the buffet lunch on a sunday. Overal, this is good but there are a lot better Indian restaurants around.
Upperr Dominick Street, Salthill, Galway
This restaurant isn't anything special. the food is typical of a lot of chinese restaurants in Ireland, full of msg and a bit sickening.
La Salsa (Galway)
6 Mainguard Street, Galway City, Galway
This is an ok fast food restaurant. it can be pretty inconsistent and the chips can be very greasy. The taco beef fries are nice and you get a massive portion. The burritos are nice but inconsistent. It is a good cheap fast food restaurant, bt go there too often and you will get sick of it.
The Halls, Quay Street, Galway City, Galway
Fat Freddys has good pizza. The pizza bianco is delicious as is the gourmet vegetarian. It can be a bit hit and miss though. The quality of their other dishes on the menu isn't too great. Their pizza's are reasonably priced and their carafe of wine is cheap and drinkable, so if you're looking for a cheap evening out, Fat Freddys might be the place.
Eddie Rockets (Galway City)
Galway City, Wellpark Retail Centre, Galway City, Galway
This is an expensive fast food restaurant, however, you would probably pay the same price or more for similar pub grub. The burgers are tasty and very big and the hotdogs are delicious. I would advise against the cheesy hotdog, too much liquid cheese. If you're looking for fast food in a more comfortable setting, Eddie Rockets is a good option.

71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
This place is kind of like a fast food Japanese restaurant. The food can be nice depending on what you get but the soups aren't very nice and some of the dishes are very bland or very greasy. I wouldn't recommend the tempura's are they are far too greasy. The buckwheat yakisoba was one of the blandest meals i have ever been served and turned me off the place. However, I tasted my friends tatsuta age and it was delicious. Overall, it is OK for lunch but the service isn't good or friendly, the atmosphere is poor and the food is very hit and miss. There are much better japanese restaurants in the city.

Independent Pizza Co
28 Drumcondra Rd Lower, Dublin 9, Drumcondra, Dublin
i really like this place. The pizza is excellent and there's such a good choice. The spanish chorizo pizza is very good. The atmosphere is nice and casual and the staff are excellent. Its definately worth a visit especialy if you live in the area. When I ordered for collection, the pizza's weren't as good, definately worth eating in, served straight from the oven.
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I really liked this restaurant. The service was good, the atomosphere was lovely and the food was excellent. the pork belly is fantastic. It is a nice cosy setting. This is good place for friends catching up and also good for a more intimate setting. Its a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Overall, i would recommend this restaurant.
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
I really like Spanish food but find that its hard to find a good one. Salamanca was a nice restaurant with good service and a nice atmosphere, although it depends where you're sitting. I was seated near the door which took away from the atmosphere as people kept walking by us. The food was nice however some dishes were a little greasy. It was a bit expensive for the quality of food but this place is definitely worth a visit and I would eat here again.
26 Blooms Lane , Lower Ormond Quay, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin
I have visited this place twice in the last two weeks for lunch and i really didn't like it. I had the soup the first time and it was bad. It was like drinking a bowl of water with a couple of vegetables. It had no flavour and no consistency. I had the tagliatelle the next time and it was ok but I've had much better. The food that my friends had didn't seem too impressive either. I felt the place lacked atmosphere and although the service was good, the staff weren't friendly. Overall, i wouldn't recommend this place.
The Porterhouse (Central)
45-47 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin
For pub food, this place isn't too bad but it wasn't that good either. I ordered the bruschetta for starters and it was a joke. The bread was like a bun burger and it was definitely the worst bruschetta I'd ever had. the burgers and pizzas are good but there are much nicer places to eat around the area. The atmosphere is only OK if you're drinking but can be too packed.
