I first went here for a birthday with my family and we all loved it. The menu has different set meals with multiple small dishes and the staff are always so good at explaining each section or any questions you have. I usually don't like this way of ordering as I feel like I'm eating lots of little things but still peckish at the end... however they give a perfect amount so that you are left satisfied and also get a little taste of a few things :) I've been 3 times now and each time we all get different set meals and share among us. They advise you do this too and its a really nice and relaxed way of having a meal together. Plus the food is amazing! One of the things I like most about the place is the Eastern style interior design and the relaxed seating. You can choose to sit at tables or on little cushions... the cushions are defo the best! Its such a gem in Dublin and something a little different. Its a great place for birthdays or any special occasion or just a dinner with friends. They do an early bird too (not sure what time)..which I think was around €17 for a meal. Really good value and good for students ! ;) Please stay your amazing prices haha Would (and have) highly recommend this place!

AMAZING pizza! Came here for my cousin's birthday and the staff were so nice and friendly and even gave him a complimentary, delicious brownie and ice cream. Such a nice touch, such lovely people, great prices and deals and great pizza. Will 100% be back. Thank you

The Happy Pear
Church Road, Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

LOVE THIS PLACE. Every time I go the place is jammers! Its a relaxed, down-to-earth atmosphere.. lots of friendly people and people coming from walks, cycles, runs popping in. I think the downstairs/ paying area could do with a bit more space inside considering the amount of people in there and also there's lots of signs and little interior bits and bobs to see. Upstairs is big enough though and very nicely decorated. The food was gorgeous... lots of vegetables, seeds, berries... all healthy and earthy, raw taste. I've always tried something different but usually get a main and share the 2 salads with someone. Never been disappointed. My friend once had a bit of a "fan girl" moment when she saw the Happy Pear lads serving us... we still slag her to this day about it haha she was so obvious he actually brought us over a free Twix bar each to try. How sweet! Health food shop attached is great. Amazing people, food, recipes.. Yum. Why can't there be places like this everywhere.

Staple Foods in Temple Bar
Curved Street, City Centre South, Dublin

I think what started off as a great and new idea now needs to pick up the pace as theres plenty of new emerging healthy spots to eat... maybe a menu change up? It's such a popular spot I think due to the fact its healthy, clean food which is amazing. I was so happy when it first opened but now that I've been a few times...I don't know, theres just not a whole lot of variety.. Sorry! However it does have vegan, vegetarian and also meat options which is handy... something for everyone. Last time I had the super food salad with and extra falafel and my friend had the Mexican wrap. It was really nice, nutritious, filling food however I think the portion sizes are a bit much. It is quite expensive though (€14 for mine) so maybe this is why they fill it up. But it's impossible to eat the serving! I asked for mine in a doggy bag and it was dinner later for my mum, aunt AND uncle haha it is really yummy and healthy but I think it's a bit much and then I feel bad leaving it all. Maybe the falafel wasn't needed! Haha A friend also commented that her dish was a bit dry as its all raw food and nothing too juicy on it but maybe dressings could be offered or change of some ingredients. I had some of the tea the last time which was fab. The table we sat at is also a bit low for eating... It's a pub/ restaurant so some of the tables are more suited for drinks than dining (in my opinion). The waitress was SO lovely. She gave us student discount which was actually a good amount.

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I heard about this restaurant from a few people and every time I pass by its glorious moroccan door draws me in. It is beautiful inside too...continuing the Moroccan interior design. It was very busy the night I went with girls from work as it was around Christmas time so the place was pretty noisy which was annoying as we had to shout to talk. However this was probably due to the time of year and all the other large groups there. The staff were lovely. I got the seafood cous cous which came in a fab dish/bowl (I'm such an owle one!) however I thought there was too much cous cous compared to fish and veg in the dish. For the price (€21.95) it could have been better. I also think there was a bit TOO much which sounds ridiculous but I'd have preferred less at a cheaper price maybe or just less. There was lovely flavour to it though. Also really liked the booth we were sitting in. We were hoping to smoke shisha or get a few drinks after downstairs but when down to an empty, messy room after a stag do so that was a bit of a pity. Maybe put a rope or sign up next time to avoid people seeing the place in a mess there!
