Myself and several work colleagues visit here regularly for lunch. The food is amazing, slightly expensive but worth every cent!!! The chicken wings and chips are to die for!! Also the Santa fe wrap! Slightly annoying that they charge €2.50 for a can of coke though!!

Dante (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

This was my third time to eat at Dante. My first two visits were good experiences and everytime I have eaten from the €12.50 two course menu which is very good value. The Cesar salad for starter is very good, unfortunately my main was not great, I had the stuffed chicken which was over done, very chewy and not very flavoursome. My cousin had the pizza which she really enjoyed.

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We visited Fallon & Byrne for my partners birthday. I emailed ahead advising it was his birthday and requesting a specific table. The staff were fantastic and catered to our every need. They even brought out a desert with sparklers for my partner as I had mentioned it was his birthday. We were a little disappointed by the food, oysters for starter were good but I had the steak for main and it was extremely fatty which really put me off it. We ended the night with a bottle of wine in the wine cellar downstairs which was quite enjoyable.

Royal Plaza
Meakstown, North Dublin, Finglas, Dublin

Went here on Saturday night for a meal with friends for a Birthday. Very lively restaurant with Karoke and atmosphere was buzzing. Great value tasty food we had a four course meal for €16 per person which I think is amazing! A friend who lives locally recommends the take away from here also. Great for families and friends but would not recommend for romantic nights or elderly people as this is a very lively restaurant!

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords
Unit 2 St Fintans, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

I have had lunch here several times with work colleagues, its best to book a table if you are tight on time at lunchtime as it can be quite busy. Salads are brilliant. We have found though that staff are not very keen on customers asking to swap items in a dish on the menu, we were told that they have an extensive menu which should cater to everyone's needs but surely if a customer is requesting to change an item in a salad or wrap etc then what they want is not catered for on the menu. Nonetheless we still eat here regularly as the food is good.

The Old Mill Bar And Restaurant

Wrights Cafe Bar
The Plaza, Swords, Swords, Dublin

I have eaten here a few times wit work colleagues for lunch. I would not go back. The service is incredibly slow, despite being almost empty we have often had to go looking for a waiter to take our order. We have generally had to wait approx 45 minutes for our food which when you only have an hours lunch break and still have to drive back to the office its not good. Food is mediocre at best but inexpensive too.

La Peniche @ RIASC
Barge Riasc, Mespil Road Jetty, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I brought my boyfriend her as a surprise for his birthday. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck above sipping champagne until it was time to order. Downstairs is small but cosy. Food was very tasty. A really relaxing enjoyable experience overall. Would definitely consider visiting again!

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Joels is a great restaurant for a sunday dinner, girly night or birthday celebration but would not suit those looking for a romantic evening as there are generally a lot of children there. Food is fantastic, proper comfort food I would particularly recommend the enchilada and the lasagne but everything is great. They do lovely cocktails if your there for a girly night and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I don't think I will ever tire of this restaurant!

Port House Pintxo
12 Eustace Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I visited bar pintxo wit a friend for the first time and was suitably impressed. Great value for money, fabulous value for money, great selection of wine and wonderful relaxed atmosphere, would recommend visiting bar pintxo for couples and girly nights! Only downside is that you cannot book a table so we had to go away for half an hour have a drink and return to get a table, not the end of the world though!

Herald and Devoy
Osprey Hotel and Spa, Devoy Quarter, Naas, Kildare

Had a beautiful romantic meal here with my partner while staying in the Osprey Hotel for our anniversary. Cannot fault a thing! Food was amazing and was further enhanced by the complimentary appetizers and sorbet between courses. Cant wait to go again!

Little Caesars of Rathfarnham
Rathfarnham Orchard, Butterfield Ave, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

Visited on Valentines with my boyfriend. It was a last minute booking as ourr original booking fell through but I was pleasently surprised. Food was better than usual. They really made the effort for the occasion, I normallly only come here for a casual early dinner but would now consider it for romantic occasions aswel. Service was a bit slow but it was not a problem as it added to a nice relaxed atmosphere and was not at all rushed as I had thought it would be. Atmosphere was lovely with the Valentines decorations and as always value for money was fab!!! I should also note that this restaurant is very accomodating, they assisted me last yr in pre paying for a romantic meal with champagne for my brother and sister in law for a special occasion on short notice. Highly reccommend, especially if you fancy a few relaxed drinks in a romatic atmosphere afterwards as The Orchard pub is in the same grounds.

Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited this retuarant with 13 friends for my birthday in October, food was excellent but tables are very close together. Fine for a large group of friends but wouldn't reccomend it for a couple. Very good value for money. One of my favourite restaurants!
