Seagrass of Portobello Bridge restaurant
30 South Richmond Street, Dublin 8, Portobello, Dublin, Area Code:
Reviewed 07th March 2008 ( visited 07th March 2008 )I was in here for lunch today and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. The complimentary bread and dip were very nice, the market soup was delicious and the 'Bangers and Mash' were absolutely beautiful. The mash was whipped and reminded me of the whipped potato in Shanahans although not quite up to that standard! Extremely nice though and I would well recommend this restaurant for lunch
Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar restaurant
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 20th August 2007 ( visited 20th August 2007 )I’ve been here twice and I’m completely hooked on the Buffalo wings with hot & spicy sauce! They are so nice! Though the second time I ordered them on my own and that was a mistake, they are much too hard to do on your own as the hot & spicy sauce can over-power you if you have too much! But still absolutely gorgeous!
Maddens Bridge Bar
West End, Bundoran, Donegal
I went here for lunch and had the New York Burger. One of the nicest burgers I have ever had anywhere in a very long time.
Konkan Indian Restaurant Clanbrassil Street
46 Upper Clanbrassil Street, Near Harolds Cross Bridge, Portobello, Dublin
This is a very nice indian restaurant with a good range of dishes and very tasty. Service was very quick and the waitors were excellent. Would recommend this indian highly.
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin
I went for dinner here and it was quite nice although nothing spectacular. The food is fresh and nicely presented and the cocktails are lovely but pretty expensive.
The Long Stone
Townsend Street, City Centre South, Dublin
We go here nearly every Friday for lunch, the food is great (especially the chicken curry) and great value.
Frankies Italian Bar and Grill
42 Temple Bar Square, Temple Bar, Dublin
I had the bacon, cheese and egg burger and it was absolutely beautiful. Very well presented and very fast service. Prices are quite reasonable too.
The Porterhouse (Central)
45-47 Nassau Street, City Centre South, Dublin
I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. It has really nice pub food. Great burgers, lovely pizzas and fantastic chunky chips. Perfect location too!
The Counter Dundrum
Pembroke District, (adjacent to the Mill Pond at Town Square), Dundrum, Dublin
This place is great, really good concept, great variety if you like burgers... I would really recommend the crispy onion strings as a topping and the southwest caeser sauce is beautiful!
Church Road, Greystones, Wicklow
I went in here for lunch one Saturday afternoon and I have to admit the place is extremely over pretentious and costly for the food quality that it produces. It is more interesting in looking good and sounding good than tasting good.
Market Square Wicklow, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
Really poor Chinese restaurant, especially for sit down meals. Very grotty and dark and overall a poor atmosphere in the place, avoid!
Pings Chinese Restaurant (Wicklow)
The Mall Main st, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
Nice enough Chinese restaurant, nothing spectacular but probably the best in Wicklow Town at the moment. There is a nice authentic feel from it.

Jamuna Indian Restaurant (wicklow)
1 Lower Mall Wicklow Wicklow, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
Love this restuarant, by far and away the best restuarant in Wicklow Town for food quality and taste. Boti Kebab and the Chicken Chilli Masala are definite highlights, beautiful.
Wynne's Café Bar @ The Grand Hotel
Abbey Street, Wicklow Town, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
Absolutely rotten everytime I go in here, I dont know how it gets away with it and I dont know why I keep eating there occassionally
4B Montague Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Absolute gem of a restuarant/cafe. Probably the nicest/freshest/tastiest place I have ever had lunch. My particular favourite is the Malaysian Chicken with Rice, chicken is extremely succulent, sauce is rich and the rice is perfectly cooked, absolutely beautiful. Only problem is it is not big enough, often have to queue for a table but definitely worth it
Church st, Wicklow Town, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
I have lived in the town for a long-time and I have heard countless great reviews about the Bakery so I decided to go there for Sunday lunch. I had the Wicklow Lamb which came with Boiled Potatoes and Roasted Vegtables. First of all I asked could I have mash potato(which was on the menu with another dish) instead of boiled potatoes, I did not get mash potato. The lamb was very tough, would not have been out of place on a cheap pub carvery menu, the roast potatoes were dry and not crispy whatsoever and the jus was hugely over-bearing. If I had paid 9-10 euro for this on a pub carvery I would not have been happy, nevermind paying 15 euro plus for it. Restuarant itself is extremely nice just a pity about the food. Oh and I forgot the icing on the cake, no mint sauce on or offered...
Market Square, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
This restaurant continues to delight me and then the next time disappoint me. I am not paranoid in thinking this but I have come to the conclusion after 20 visits to it that you only get a good quality fillet steak, cooked to the way you want it, if you go in with a crowd i.e. more than 2 people. I have been in here 10 or more times with only 2 people and I always get a poor chewy steak that is usually over-done. On the other hand, I have been here numerous times with a big bunch of people and have got the most beautiful steak imagineable. Its so frustrating!!!! The prawns in filo pastry for starter is always beautiful though...
Wicklow House, Market Square, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
Ive been here a good few times before and I have left bad reviews in the past but I went here again and I had a very nice T-bone steak so credit where credit is due. Keep up the quality in future please!
Prospect Hse, Church Street, Wicklow Town, Wicklow
I had gotten take-away from here a couple of months ago and frankly it was terrible. But it just opened up under new management supposedly so I said I would give it another go. This time I sat down in the restaurant with my girlfriend. It was the single worst meal of my life in a restaurant. I got the spicy chicken wings for starter, extremely poor quality. I had a pepperoni pizza for my main. The dough on it was still wet, it needed at least another 5 minutes in the oven. Something so simple as a pizza. My girlfriend got some tomato/garlic/ham pasta dish that I can only describe as horrendous by anybody's standards. Oh and we were waiting 20 minutes for our plates to be cleaned up after we were finished and it wasn't that busy. Never ever, ever again. Yuk.
Pizzas n Cream
Albert Walk, Bray, Wicklow
Excellent pizzeria, have been here on numerous occasions and I am always satisfied when I leave.
Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
Gorgeous pizza parlour. Have been going here for the last ten years and it has never let me down once, highly recommended.

Little Caesars (Harcourt Street)
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin
Nice place to go for lunch. Nothing too fancy, cheap and cheerful. Not the best Italian you will ever eat in but you get what you pay for...
Wagamama - Stephen's Green
St Stephen's Green Centre, South King St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Quite a nice place to go for lunch although get there early because it gets very busy. Nice quality of food and seems quite healthy with lots of fresh ingredients. Well recommended.
Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Very nice restaurant... Have been there with work and the food is really good quality, well recommended restaurant
Zaytoon (Lower Camden Street)
44-55 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin
My favourite "fast-food" restaurant in the world! Pure bliss, Chicken Donor meal with extra sauce... You have to roll the kebab up though; no eating with a knife and fork... then spread the chips onto the plate and let the sauce from the kebab cover the chips while you eat... Magnificent!
Shanahan’s on the Green
119 St. Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin
Second time I have been to Shanahans and I promised myself after the last time not to order so much so I skipped the starter and went straight for the main course. Little did I know that the crispy onion string side was as big as a house! Strangely beautiful side, oh so beautiful! Anybody that has had them would understand what Im saying! Steak was unbelievably delicious, beautifully flavoured and the whipped potato is nothing short of magnificent. Very expensive but sure who cares! +++++++++++++++++
