Was here with a friend while visiting the area on a very busy evening. We had to wait about 25 mins for a table. It was well worth waiting for. We both had pizza which were wonderful. As good as I have eaten in Italy. I intend visiting the area again and I look forward to returning. The staff were very busy but well organised, friendly and courteous. You deserve to do well. Well done.

The Old Boro Public House & Restaurant
Main Street, Swords, Dublin

Had evening meal here with 4 others. Food quite good. We found it very hard to get the attention of staff. As a result we had to get up each time we wanted a drink. It wasn't that they were overly busy. The table that was reserved for us was a high table so the stool chairs were high also so it was an effort getting up all the time. Pity other wise I would rate it better. Hopefully they will take this as constructive critism and do something about it. I will be back to see. Nice building with parking out front so location is excellent. Would really like to see them doing well.

Reynards Restaurant
Cavan Road, Cootehill, Cavan

Visiting the area and had Sunday lunch here. Reasonably good food but not very exciting. Only two red wines available by quarter bottle. Quality not great. Staff knowledge of same was very little. Very nice premises and grounds seemed quite busy. Room for improvement.

Carlton Redcastle Hotel
Inishowen Peninsula, Moville, Donegal

I stayed here for 3 nights, so we ate breakfast each morning had one dinner and lunch one of the afternoons. I had heard great reports of the food here from friends who had eaten here over the years. I must say I was disappointed. I found the food only ok. The flavour or quality was just not there.Service at breakfast was poor and we tried for ages to make eye contact with staff. There was one exception to this on the Sunday morning. There was a very efficient friendly girl on duty who looked like she was enjoying her work. It's such a pity given the hotels scenic location. The hotel itself is lovely and very clean. Maybe I got them on a bad weekend.

Relish
5 Bayview, Bettystown, Meath

Had lunch here again.Hasn't disappointed me yet Walked on the beach beforehand. What a beaufiful setting.. Very efficient friendly service. We had a window seat which was lovely.Had the house red wine at €10 which is excellent quality. We shared the salami and cheese platter for a change. Good menu choice. This place is always pretty busy which is great to see.

La Dolce Vita - The Chase
Carmanhall Road, Dublin 18, Sandyford, Dublin

This is a little gem as stated in a previous review. I went based on what menu pages had to say. Excellent food and service. Absolutely gorgeous garlic bread. I had an excellent spicy beef and pasta dish which was excellent. My companion was very pleased with her pasta dish and we will both return. Two very small gripes. I would like to see fresh Parmesan in a proper container (was in a sprinkler container but we had to take the top off to get it out) and also a wine list even though we were only ordering a half bottle. Only 3 to choose from if I remember correctly. But what we choose was fine for lunchtime. This restaurant deserves to do well and I hope to go back again even though I live on the opposite side of the city. I only wish I had a restaurant of this quality on my doorstop.Well done and thank you for a very pleasant lunch.

Tippenyaki
39 Castlewood Avenue, South Dublin , Rathmines, Dublin

This is a real find. I really liked the place. Good healthy food and friendly service. Disappointed there was no alcohol free beer only the usual soft drinks. Had the tippenyaki king prawns and my friend had the tippenyaki fillet beef served with stir fried veg and fried rice and potato slices, Absolutely beautiful. Well done hope you continue to do well. You deserve to.

Little Caesars (Harcourt Street)
The Harcourt Hotel, 59 Harcourt Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Was here on a busy Saturday night as part of a large group. Service very good and pleasant. Food was ok, presentation was poor on some of the dishes. Wine and beer list limited. Some of the seat were extremely hard to get out of or back into if the need arose.

Mac's Lounge
Powerscourt Arms Country House, Enniskerry, Wicklow

First time here on a Sunday afternoon.Had turkey and ham dinner. It was ok,Ham could have been cooked more and there were hugh raw onion pieces in the stuffing However my companions (5 others) were very pleased with their food. I really liked the ambience and the seating was very comfortable. The location is excellent in such a pretty village.

Little Caesars Palace Restaurant

Food here is quite good, had king prawns with pasta. My friends were happy with their food also. Very little choice of wine by the glass. Service good, also good value. They were busy and I think they deserve to do well. Will be back

profile_review

Ristorante Romano
12 Capel Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

This was my second time here. Very good value, good food. I was part of a group of about 11 and no complaints. They only stock one beer which is a pity. Decor is a bit drab but that wouldn't stop me from going back.

profile_review

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a good experience here. We ate at the outside table. The waitress arrived within minutes and switched on the heater. Food was quite good and service excellent. The wine list didn't seem to have very many qood quality qood value wines. This was my second time here and like last time service is very friendly and efficient.

Four Earls Restaurant
Deerpark Hotel, Howth, Howth, Dublin

We ate in the bar. I ordered chowder. It tasted ok but for some reason it had been pureed except for two shell fish sitting on top.which was a pity, I like to see the chunks of fish, A friend ordered deep fried brie but there was no brie inside the breadcrumb crust! Service was slow but friendly. It really is a shame given the excellent location. I think they could do so much better.

profile_review

Fagans
Drumcondra, Drumcondra, Dublin

The Church Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

First time here, It's an absolutely beautiful building. I had a Thai Chicken Curry and it was very good and they didn't skimp on the portion. It was very busy and staff were efficient, courteous and friendly. Well done, I'll be back.

The Happy Pear
Church Road, Greystones, Greystones, Wicklow

Ate here on a very busy sunny Sunday afternoon. 10 of us arrived and it was no problem to the efficient friendly staff to move tables and seats around to accomodate us. The food was good as I never would normally eat in a vegetarian restaurant. Well done, you deserve to do well.

profile_review

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Food very good, house wine good. The armchair/couch seating in my opinion is more suitable for a pub where you can sit back and relax, Service was efficient but not friendly. Waitress was very busy, I was afraid to ask for anything even the bill! I cannot comment on the rest of the staff as I had no deaings with them.

profile_review

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I was part of a very large group. The food was very disappointing. The service was quite good, considering the large group. I think it's always busy due to it's location, certainly not for it's food. I has pizza and it was just ok, this is my second disappointing meal here. I only went because the group was going there. Won't be back if I can help it.

profile_review

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This was my second time here. Unfortunately this experience was not as good as the first which was mainly due to bad service. It was very busy.I was part of a group of 10. I had to remind the waiter a few times to bring various things. It was very annoying. The food was good so no complaints there.

profile_review

Gotham Cafe
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I haven't been here in a few years. Ate at lunch time.Very good service despite being very busy, good food and very pleasant staff. More variety in the menu besides pizza would be welcome. I had pizza which was very good because there wasn't much else to choose from. Well worth a visit.

Chai Yo
100 Lower Baggot street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I had Teppenyaki here last week. Food was ok but not nearly as good as my last visit which was some time ago.Very friendly and efficient staff. There were only a few people in the restaurant, therefore it lacked atmosphere.Maybe it is best to go with a large group of people.

profile_review

Brasserie Sixty6

Coachmans Inn
Airport Road, Cloghran, Dublin

We ate here last week. I haven't been for two years and I do believe it's the same menu. Food and service is just okay. Choice of half bottles of wine not great(which is the same story in most places).Lovely christmas decorations up and the restaurant room is very comfortable.

profile_review

L'Gueuleton
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

My first time in this restaurant. There is very little space between tables so we found it very difficult to get seated without knocking down something off tables nearby. Staff very efficient and friendly. Food quite good so will try it again if I don't go up a size!!

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Swords)
Main StreetSwords, Swords, Dublin

I had a voucher for two burgers for the price of one, so I dropped in last week and used the vouchers. I got the best burger I've every had in Ireland. It was served promptly by friendly staff. Will be back. Well done.

profile_review

Wallace's Enoteca Delle Langhe
Blooms Lane, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Ate here Sunday afternoon. Was very quiet. Had mixed crostini. Some of them were excellent, The veg ones, one being aubergine I think not great, very bland. Noticed other customers didn't eat theirs. Had cheeses and mixed meats, they were fine. A very vast wine list, much too long, could do with cutting it by at least half.

profile_review

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I had not eaten here for a while. We ate upstairs which is really nice. A romantice atmosphere and a nice distance between the tables. It was very noisy downstairs. We ordered a selection of tapas and a bottle of red Portuguese wine. All very good and reasonable value.

profile_review

Siam Thai (Malahide)
