Wonderful 40th party catered for on the Bridge. Specific menu, fine service throughout (1 waiter on fire!) and lovely background piano music made it a memorable evening

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a lovely meal with my young family. The kids menu really is great value. And the provision of balloons by a clown was a nice touch!

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Tema building evening (8 of us) - we went for the tapas selection for 10 - perfect amount. Nice beers too

Herbstreet
Hanover Quay, Dublin 2 , Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Busy spot pre-Christmas but staff were attentive - and good at turning around tables. The 'specials' that day were a little bland though I thought.

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely steak at great prices - just a pity could not be washed down with Quilmes as none available on the day!

The Merrion Inn Bar & Kitchen
188 Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin

While quiet atmosphere food and service were excellent - will return as they have healthy selection of craft beers which is nice option

Dax Cafe Bar
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin

Had the pleasure of consuming 2 cold and 2 warm tapas platters with my wife recently. Very tasty food, great service and atmosphere. Downside is lack of chips and a little background music!

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Had the pleasure of experiencing Koh after running 26 miles that morning! THe service was top drawer and a compliment to the Galway lads who run Koh. Some great value and quality relative to the mains although the appetisers could have further options. Following a new firstborn in October Koh will be be our first restaurant hit in 2011, any day soon!...
