I've been here at least once a week since it opened and it's great. Lovely interiors, fabulous food (coffee is great!) and best of all it's reasonably priced.

Went here last weekend for the pre-theatre menu. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. However, I was not blown away by the food. The duck I had for main course was well cooked but pretty tasteless and the top of my creme brulee was burnt in parts so was very bitter. Saying that my boyfriend was very happy with his meal so I might give it another chance.

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

This was my first visit to Rolys and overall I was very impressed. I was with a large group and everyone enjoyed their food. There was plenty to choose from for all tastes and the set menu was very good value. It was also nice to see a broad wine choice and an excellent house wine selection. The only down side was the mayhem inside the front door as we were leaving with crowds of people waiting to be seating and others trying to get their coats as they were leaving; which made for a pretty stressful exit. Will definitely go back.

Herbstreet
Hanover Quay, Dublin 2 , Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

Best brunch I've had anywhere in Dublin. Always reliable for a great brunch and the service is very friendly. It's always very busy but has a really good atmosphere. It is not cheap but is a nice treat.

Thornton's Restaurant
1st, The Fitzwilliam Hotel, 128 St Stephen's Green, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for lunch and overall was very impressed. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect for lunch. At €25 for a set 3-course lunch it was great value. The staff were very pleasant. The only criticism, in common with the other reviewers, is that the room lacks atmosphere. All in all a nice experience and I'll definitely go back.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Went here for the pre-theatre menu on Friday. This was my third visit and I have yet to be disappointed. We had three courses for €20 and each course for both of us was lovely, particularly the crispy rolls and green curry. On my last visit I had the lamb massaman from the dinner menu which was delicious. Would definitely recommend it and with €5 flirtinis you cant go too far wrong!

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

Big fan of this place. The burgers are as good as you will find especially the lamb. The sweet potato fries are delicious. The music used to be extremely loud but in my last couple of visits they seem to have toned it down a bit which means you can have an actual conversation over dinner without shouting. The service also appears to have improved recently which makes the experience so much better!

Brownes Deli and Cafe
18 Sandymount Green, Dublin 4, Sandymount, Dublin

Went here for brunch today and it was terrible! Had heard very positive reviews of the place but was left entirely disappointed by the whole experience. The service was very poor - had to order water and tea twice before they finally arrived when we had finished eating! The food itself was awful. I ordered a wrap with 'duck' and hoisin sauce. There was hardly any duck and what little there was was fatty and horrible. My friend ordered a ciabatta only to be told that there was no ciabatta available, nor was there any bagels. When he ordered the filling in a sandwich we were charged the price of a ciabatta. Overall it was a really bad experience and we certainly won't be going back.
