I have been here a few time for friends' birthdays and always really enjoy the food. The atmosphere is always really good and the food is delicious. I like that you are not limited with your choices and I usually order the chicken fajita. The only thing is everytime we go when it comes to the bill its always a little messy and there has been at least one mistake each time. The staff are very friendly and the price is so reasonable. 19.95 for the early bird for 3 courses and a glass of wine. you can't go wrong. I've even booked us in there for my friends hen party meal because its such good value. Can't wait to go back again. yum.

I tried this restaurant out and I have to say i really liked it. They make traditional Irish dishes with a twist and it's yum. The server was really nice and gave us recommendations and the atmosphere in there is quite nice and really intimate. I will be going back again sometime.

ely winebar
22 Ely Place, (Just off St. Stephen’s Green), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great atmosphere, the staff were very friendly and so very knowledgeable about the wines. The food was delicious, they do the best homemade chips out of all the Ely restaurants. The service was very quick and efficient. I would definitely return.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

I heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out. The restaurant is really nice and has a lovely chilled atmosphere. They explain what to do with the food if you get it on the stone to cook it yourself. The food we got was delicious. The only thing was I though the options were quite few. There was very little choice for vegetables, all of which you have to order as an extra to your main. Then when we did get our sides I ordered the potatoes with the lemon mayo sauce. It was really really tasty but I only got 4 baby boils and they were about a fiver and my boyfriend ordered the chips and they were also really good, all 6 of them on a stick. The meat we got was really good quality meat and the novelty of cooking your own meat on a volcanic stone is interesting. We just weren't sure whether we should be eating off the bowl they gave us to cut up our meat or if we should eat each thing out of its individual bowl or put it all onto the little stone, it was a little awkward. I would go there again but only if there's a special event or a friend goes for their birthday or something because it is really really pricey for what you get. The food is yummy and really great quality but we spent the equivalent of 2 weeks grocery shopping and we didn't even get a starter or a dessert just the mains and one glass of wine and some water. It's definitely worth going there once to try it and decide for yourself if it's worth repeat trips.

Brams Cafe
4 St Aidans Park Road, Marino, Dublin

This is my new favourite eats! My partner and I have decided that we have to come here once a week for breakfast now. The girls that serve there on the weekends are so lovely and helpful and the food is always served really quickly. It's a great place for a weekend fry up without all the grease. nothing is dripping in grease it's all just perfect. There's always a relaxed atmosphere with a lot of regulars coming in and people just reading the paper. I look forward to this all week now. The price here is so reasonable too for the amount of food that you get, I've even got my dad going down too now. Anytime we have friends staying over we bring them here for brekkie, it's great. Definitely recommend it.

Independent Pizza Co
28 Drumcondra Rd Lower, Dublin 9, Drumcondra, Dublin

I always order the same thing when I come here. The chicken bruscetta with extra sauce on the side. the sauce that comes with it is so so good! This meal is huge and so scrumptious. the prices here are very reasonable and the service is great if you get the right server. The place is clean and the food tends to come out quite quickly. The location is handy for me as I am in that area often and it's nice before a gig or a game at croke park as long as you book early! I love coming here. Will definitely be back.

The Yacht (Clontarf)

I go down here the odd sunday for dinner and the food is always really nice, I've never had a bad meal. It's just your typical sunday pub grub. It's reasonably priced too. will definitely continue to go.

ely bar & brasserie
CHQ Building, Georges Dock, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin

I've been here a few times now and have never been disappointed! i was suprised to see some of the comments left by others, Sky sports has never been on when I have eaten here in fact i dont think I can even remeber a tv being on. The manager is really attentive to the guests and the wait staff have always been really good! i enjoy the food it's all freshly made there and is delicious, maybe I have been lucky and just been there on good days. I would recommend it definitely!
