Have had dinner here a couple of times with partner and parents. Top notch food with excellent service. Some of the food was just absolutely delicious. Waiting staff very helpful and knowledgable. Definitely be going back.

Had the pre-theatre menu here on a quiet Tuesday night. 3 courses for 25euro. Food was lovely, nice choices on the menu, no delays, friendly staff. Contrary to what others have said about the decor, I thought it was very nice, wouldn't consider it dark at all. There's also a full vegetarian menu, which my partner was very impressed with. It's a small intimate place, ideal for 2-4, not the kind of place you'll find large groups. Overall I was well impressed.

Rafter Dempsey's
4 Friary st, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Had lunch here one quiet afternoon. Good pub grub. Efficent service. No complaints at all. Couple of locals in eating who seemed like they ate their regularly which is a good sign.

Anvil Bistro Restaurant
Saggart Village, Dublin 22, Saggart, Dublin

Nice little restaurant. Very well presented and tasty food. Good atmosphere with very attentive waiting staff. Good early bird menu which is great value for money. Bit cramped when it's full, your almost sitting on top of the table beside you but other than that no problems - Would definitely recommend it.

LJ's Bar and Restaurant @ Louis Fitzgerald Hotel
Newland’s Cross, Naas Road, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

Dissapointing. Poor quality food at expensive prices. A small caesar salad with no chicken or dressing was nearly €10! Staff were nice, and the place looks well but the food just didn't cut it.
