Very little for the vegetarian here... but if you are looking for a nice Irish breakfast and a steaming cappuccino... look no further! The location is quite good too, you can take a book with you and enjoy your food and just take a look at all the different shapes and sizes and colors of the people passing by... Very inspiring, especially on those lazy Saturday mornings!Cuisine:

Soho Bar and Restaurant
77 Grand Parade, Cork City, Cork
Went for a lunch with my husband and my 2 year old son, we definitely had a great time! My son's needs were accommodated right away, which is great credit for a busy restaurant. The food came quick and it was lovely. For under 50 Euro we had an appetizer big enough for 2, a kid's meal, which the little one really appreciated, and two main courses. Lovely!
Kudos Bar @ The Clarion
Lapps Quay, Cork City, Cork
Lovely atmosphere, the service was not at its best, unfortunately. I will definitely eat in the Kudos again, because the food is lovely, I got an oriental stir fry with noodles, i didn't ask for a specific dish from the menu. Well, the sauce was unbelievable! Perfect! Will visit again soon!

Amicus
Paul Street, Cork City, Cork
Had a business dinner here, they allowed us to avail of the special weekday menu even if it was a Sunday. Easy to book, lovely food, great staff. A very happy bunny! And my colleagues were impressed too!

Blue Ocean
46 Lower Cork StreetBrigown, Mitchelstown, Cork
Fabulous! That's all I can say about this place. It is not too big, so the waitresses can take good care of you, the food is served straight from the kitchen and I guess freshly cooked because it tastes extremely good. Was our first time here, will definitely go back as soon as we pass Mitchelstown again.

Flaminco
88 North Main Street, Cork City, Cork
We as a family have eaten here many times and the atmosphere and the service have always been very very good. I am from Italy and the food here is very very close to the real one I miss from back home.

Coffee Pot
77 North Main Street, Youghal, Cork
Slow service but great homemade food... And the location is wonderful, just beside the clock tower in Youghal town center... Definitely worth a visit, and a few minutes wait for your food!!!

Eddie Rockets (Cork City Centre)
97-98 South Main Street, Cork City, Cork
When we eat at Eddie Rockets, which is at least once a month, I always have the veggie burger. Very tasty! Desserts are the best thing in the menu: they are not too expensive and very big, enough to satisfy 2 persons after a meal. Is a nice place for children too, spacious, full of nice things to examine on the table, and every kid is given a sheet and crayons to do coloring in. The staff is extremely friendly, the atmosphere relaxed and very USA.

Tony's Bistro
69 North Main Street, Cork City, Cork
Always a good choice! If you don't want to spend too much and be well fed, Tony's Bistro is the place to go! It is small, so not ideal for kids, but the food is homemade, and abundant. There is a good choice in the special menu, so you are spending little, but you will be so full afterward!

Fota Restaurant @ Fota Island Resort
Fota Island Resort, Fota Island, Cobh, Cork
Well, what to say about this fancy place? Food was very little, although very expensive, there were no children going around at the time, all of the children present were confined to their seats, all the time under the strict supervision of the staff. Well, not a pleasant place to eat, but if you want to be posh for an hour or so... worth a visit!

Hong Kong Kitchen
7 West Beach, Cobh, Cobh, Cork
This place was the first restaurant we visited in Cobh after moving in this lovely town. The staff is extremely polite, efficient and friendly. They always treat the little ones with a lollipop even if you are there for the speedy take-away service. If you decide to eat in, your food will stay warm at the table thanks to the warmers which create a nice atmosphere. All in all, good value for money, the food they serve is really tasty.

Ruen Thai Restaurant
71/72 Patrick st (Above Boots Chemist) Cork, Cork City, Cork
We have been in this restaurant several times, most recently with my French friends who came to visit for a few days. The service is impeccable, the atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. The plus is you can look down at busy Patrick street from the tables near the windows. There are always fresh flowers around, which I find a real touch of class. The food... well, let's just say, every time I went there, there were at least 2 tables occupied by Asian families... A good sign!

Jade Palace Cork
9 Market Parade Patrick Street, Cork, Cork City, Cork
It was a Sunday, nothing seemed to be moving in the City centre... We finally saw this little restaurant, hidden in the English Market entrance... What a discovery! We went back 2 more times, they have a good early bird menu for 12.95 per person if I remember well. You get a starter, a main course and a dessert. And the food is extremely tasty. We tried the soup and I can guarantee: it did not come out of a can! Try the black bean sauce: it is delicious and homemade. Overall, a very nice quiet place, good for kids too.

Wagamama (Cork)
4/5 South Main St, Co City, Cork City, Cork
This place is simply great, every time we want to go out as a family we go to Wagamama! They gave my 2years old colors and a nice place mat he could write on. The service can be a bit slow sometimes but is overall well above the average. The food is tasty, freshly prepared, with great quality ingredients. We love it!
