I absolutely love this restaurant! I have a weakness for cosily furnished places and really good Thai food. This place ticks all the boxes. The atmosphere inside is set of by the beautiful light fixture/installation in the centre of a bussling bar! You have the choice of whether to eat casually in the lounge or proceed in to the restaurant section. There are also private booths available for larger parties. The cocktail menu is amazing and the bartenders certainly know what they're at behind the marble front! They offer classes in cocktail making and even if you don't feel like splashing out on a class, are always eager to explain the contents of your drink and how its made. The food is always delish especially the cashew chicken! The staff are friendly and attentive. Defo a must for a romantic night or a girly night out! super for groups and parties! Love this place!

Jaipur Restaurant (George's Street)
41 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Was so excited about dinner here having looked longingly through the window on several occasions. Can't say i was disappointed- the staff were very helpful in finding me a dish that was just right- as the menu differed from the one on menu pages! My dish was great but his specially requested 'butter chicken' resembled a buttered up tinned tomato soup- DISAPPOINTING! The food is expensive but i'm sure if you stick to the main menu it's prob worth it! Will be back :)

The Italian Corner
23/24 Wellington Quay, Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Food was good, both ordered lasange which came with garlic bread and rocket salad included for less than €14! Tasty bottle of rioja didn't break the bank either! Service was dismal though, we were neglected for aaaages before ordering but the food made up for it! Will prob be back again for more!

Camile Thai South Circular Road
5 Dolphins Barn, South Dublin, South Circular, Dublin

Treated myself to a takeaway from here the other evening and wasn't disappointed! Very tasty dishes, a little on the expensive side but the quality of the food was worth paying that little bit extra for. Also received a voucher for a free main rice dish for the month of May! I'll be calling again defo!

Konkan Indian Restaurant Clanbrassil Street
46 Upper Clanbrassil Street, Near Harolds Cross Bridge, Portobello, Dublin

Ate here last week and have to say it was truely delish! I ordered a lamb dish which was new to the menu and my partner went for the butter chicken. While we both really enjoyed the food I have to agree with a previously published review- there was indeed an absence of meat in BOTH dishes. Each was possitively swimming in sauce, although it was delicious I'm afraid it didn't make us feel we'd gotten value for money! It's a lovely neighbourhood restaurant but needs it pull its socks up in the meat department!

South Street Restaurant
Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here for a cheap girls nite out and was quite impressed by the quality and quantity of the food. Had walked past many times and had never really been tempted in. The decor was a bit dated and there wasn't really a buzz about the place. We ordered a house wine (a snip at €15) but were disappointed when it arrived unchilled and without a cooler in sight! We ordered mains of pizza and pasta and weren't disappointed. Huge bowls of pasta arived in good time and were accompanied by pizzas that were typically italian, thin and delicious. Great value, great location! i'll be back!

Punjabi By Nature Indian Restaurants & Takeaway
15 Ranelagh Village, South Dublin, Ranelagh, Dublin

Ordered take out from here. The food was delicious but rather over priced in the sense that rice/naan wasn't included in the price of the main as it usually is on other takeout menus. The waiter taking our call tried to include poppadoms in the order (at an extra cost of €2.50) and dips (at €1 euro EACH) which going on the fact that the sides were extra anyway was pushing it a bit. He also neglected to tell us that orders over €30 get a free bottle of wine and we had to call back to query this. Although deleivery was prompt i'm not sure I'll be calling again!

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

Was here with a friend for dinner for the first time last month and was really impressed at how funky and atmospheric the place is. There were interesting little touches everywhere from the dj to the heinz beans can the bill arrived in at the end. The menu was fantastic and we were spoiled for choice. Food was delicious but took a while to come and we were also left waving at waiters over the bill. I'd go back but only as a treat as it was a bit of an expensive Burger Jo!

The Cake Cafe
62 Pleasants Place, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Love this place! Hidden away behind camden street, the cake cafe is one of the most amazing places in dublin! Been here lots of times for breakfast on the weekends and lunch during the day! BEST EGG AND SOLIDERS IN TOWN! Massive selection of delicious cakes and buns. Assorted crockery and an air of the mismatched add to the quirky atmosphere.

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

This place is an absolute hit. As the name implies the menu is a mixed selection of basic italian and mexican dishes. Lunch is a home-run altogether with a starter, main and glass of vino for under a tenner! Been loadsa times for good, informal, tasty food and will surely be back again before long!

Maloti
34-35 South William Street, South William Street, Dublin

I love Indian food and and this is definiately the place for me. Been here loads and it really is worth its weight in gold as a restaurant. Handy to town and surrounded by the bars and pubs of south william street. Food is fairly priced and really tasty. The portions are quite large, I've never been able to finish everything! The service is prompt and friendly and I've never had trouble getting a table even when walking in off the street. The decor is funky and there is a great sense of light and space inside. Definately recommend it!
