Madhobi Indian Cuisine
25G Malahide Road, Artane, Dublin 5, Artane, Dublin
We love indian food, but found no advertisement for this place. After passing by it for 100th time we decided to to try it out. It was 5pm and the place was empty apart from one other table of 2. We had our 5 year old with us. Found it a bit difficult with no childrens menu, but staff were very willing to adapt a dish to our childs liking without any additional cost. Pompadom dips did taste like they were out of a bottle but other than that the food was lovely, found the staff very attentive. This place could be a lot busier if they themselves and the deals they have.
The Church Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Junction of Mary St. & Jervis St., Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin
booked a table here for a reunion. lovely staff very attentive. had seen reviews saying service was slow this was not the case with us. if anything we held them up. lol. the only issue i have is that we felt the menu was overpriced. for this reason none of us had starters. i had a medium fillet steak 8oz = 30e. this came with a potato rosti only no veg or chips. i asked for my steak medium and it came medium rare, very rare in the middle this was fine for me but probably not for all. other guests in my company got lamb shanks and these were also very rare, not quite to their taste.
Noble House - Malahide Rd
Northern Cross, Malahide Road, Malahide, Dublin
Went there for early bird menu. place is decorated nicely. waiters very attentive. found the menu a little bit overpriced compared to other chinese resteraunts around. got chicken balls for my daughter which were a little bit greasy. i had spring rolls to start which was served on a bed of salad that looked dead. the salad on the aromatic duck we ordered also looked dead. but i got a beef curry that was lovely a really spicy curry sauce and my fiance got a chicken chilli dish which he really enjoyed.

The Old Boro Public House & Restaurant
Main Street, Swords, Dublin
Went there for sunday dinner. service was good. food a little cool for my liking but nice. had the roast beef. requested more gravy which wasnt a problem. very reasonable in price. just a little dark for eating where we were sitting.
Harveys Bar and Grill Restaurant (Above Harvest Bar & Lounge)
Main Street, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin
Been going to harveys regularly for past 2 yrs. find the service to be excellent and very family orientated. the only glitch with the family friendly service I would have is that they provide heavy glasses to my 3 yr old who alwys ends up spillin it on floor. Should provide plastic cups/paper. The chicken wings are to die for and the rest of the menu is mouth watering. It is slightly expensive but there is no where like it in the balbriggan area.
Frankies Italian Bar and Grill
42 Temple Bar Square, Temple Bar, Dublin
Chanced our arm going in without a reservation night before valentines day. although they were very bust we were accomodated quickly. the chicken wings to start were to die for. had the fillet steak, mouth watering! had a 3 course meal for 2 coffees and non alcoholic beverages all for under e100. 1 of my top 5 places i've eaten so far!
