The early bird at this restaurant has to be the best value for money in Dublin. I visited here over the weekend as I had heard about the fantastic value for moeny the early bird is. They give you a choice of a starter, main course, desert and a glass of either red or white wine for €13.95 x 2 + service charge of 10% total for the two of us was €30.00. Staff were great and the atmosphere was also very good. Would highly recommnend.

Kitchen
3 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited this restaurant for the first time as we had a deal from one of the offers currently running. Excellent value for money for three courses for €20, delicious food and very attentive staff, planning to return very soon. Next time you are in Dublin give this hidden gem a try

La Palma Ristorante Italiano
Parnell st, Waterford, Waterford City, Waterford

Situated in the centre of Waterford city, this Italian family run restaurant is a lovely place to visit. Very cosy and warm interiors make it quite relaxing. Only negative to report is the bad value for money for the early bird, priced at €23.95 for three courses plus tea or coffee, portion sizes are too small, maybe next time go for the a la carte instead.

The Brasserie @ Newlands Cross
Bewleys Hotel Newlands Cross, Clondalkin, Dublin

Met a friend here for lunch last week. The dining area in the bar is very spacious and comfortable for eating lunch or for a drink etc. We chose from the bar menu which is varied and all dishes are reasonably priced. Service is very efficient and friendly. We never felt rushed, in fact the experience was very pleasant. The hotel is very easy to find at a busy junction but with loads of car parking. Give it a try.

Dax Cafe Bar
23 Pembroke Street Upper, City Centre South, Dublin

We found this cafe bar by accident about a week ago when we were out for a walk. It is situated in a row of Georgian houses close to Leeson Street. Once inside the interior of the premises is very comfortable and relaxing. We ordered some coffees and desert from the bar menu. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. I would like to try out their evening menu of hot and cold Tapas. Give it a visit.

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

We visited this cosy restaurant for the first time on recommendation from a friend and were not disappointed. The quality of the food was excellent We also had the food fortune to try the early bird which is good value considering the portion sizes of each course. Would recommend the early bird and will return.

Boulevard Cafe
27 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

A few of us decided to visit this restaurant on Saturday evening last. The restaurant was buzzing and quite full which made a great atmosphere. Lots of offers available and if you want value for money for tasty food, excellent service I would highly recommend a visit, keep up the special offers and we will return.

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Went here on Friday evening for the first time with a group of friends as we heard there was a special offer of €20 for a the early bird three course meal. We had booked our table and had time for a drink before being seated, table was a bit overcrowded but nevertheless we survived We were looked after by very friendly and efficient staff who took our order and delivered it promptly. Excellent value for money with generous size portions. Also we were given a fee goody bag each with some samples of mascara face cream etc. Also a free cosmopolitan each, a nice touch by all accounts. Would recommend and will be back.

Arc Cafe Bar
Liffey Vallley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Rd, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

A group of us met here last Friday for a chat and some food. Our orders were taken by a very friendly waitress who gave us excellent service. Value for money was fine and I would recommend this friendly pub a great place to meet, due to its atmosphere and location.

Visited here with my husband and used our menu pages points to have a main course and a glass of wine for 2000 points. We were very impressed with the service, friendly staff, taste of food and overall ambience of the cafe. Well worth a visit and would highly recommend.

The County Club
Dunshaughlin, Dunshaughlin, Meath

A nice pub to visit anytime of the day, staff are always very friendly, food is served promptly and at the correct temperature. Whether it's the carvery or any food from the a la carte menu this pub is well worth a visit, highly recommend.

Little Caesars Palace Restaurant
1-3 Balfe Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Small tables positioned too close together for comfort, along with an unfriendly waitress made this one of the worst evening's visit to a restuarant. Food tasted okay when eventually we received it. Not for the faint hearted.

The Hanora D Restaurant
The Lucan Spa Hotel, Junction 4A, N4, Lucan, Lucan, Dublin

Had the opportunity to visit here Saturday 13th for Mother's Day celebration. We were very surprised at the special offer for the early bird menu that was available. Priced at €14.50 for a starter/main course and either tea or coffee excellent value for money, not to be missed and would highly recommend.

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Visited with a group of friends after work on Friday evening. As always this restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff are efficient and friendly. The selection on the menu is good but the value for money on all the dishes is very bad. The food is tasty and always well presented but the hard rock cafe will have to reduce their prices before I return

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have visited captain americas on numerous occasions but sadly our last visit was very disappointing. They currently have an offer on for two main courses for the price of one and only for this offer I would not recommend anyone to visit there. I appreciate that this is a casual restaurant but appearances do make a difference when you are being served by a waiter or waitress, room for improvement in this area and in the taste of the food.

Castle Chinese Restaurant
3C Castle Street, Dalkey, Dalkey, Dublin

Four of us visited here on Saturday evening and we very pleased with the service, the quality of the food, the atmosphere and the value for money. If you visit Dalkey at any time and like Chinese you must visit here, it cannot be beaten and is the best Chinese restaurant on the south side of Dublin, Highly recommended.
