Really excellent meal. I need to learn I can't manage 3 courses as I had a starter and main course and wasn't able for a dessert....and would have loveed to try it. I had duck and it was fab...the hand-cut fries were delicious and so were the green beans as a side. Starter was smoked salmon and was a massive portion but was lovely. himself had the steak and he devoured it....he had red pepper soup to start and licked the plate clean. Cocktails were yummy especially the signature Cleaver East cocktail...highly recommend people try that. Bill was so reasonable too....really were surprised by that (pleasantly). Will be back.

Had been here years before with family and loved it. This time around it wasn't as amazing as I had remembered. I got scallops to start and there was only 2 scallops for something like €14 or something....my boyfriend got steak and he said it was lovely.I got veal escalope for my main course and it really was not good. It tasted slimy and the sauce, which was creamy, added to that slimy texture. The wine was nice and dessert was good (chocolate fondant, can't go wrong really). Overall, it was an ok meal.
