I have to say it was the best meal I have had in a long long time. I choose from the al la carte menu, we both had filet steak, it came with herb mash, carmelised onions, and creamed spinach. It was absolutely melt in the mouth delicious. Our deserts were meringue with fresh strawberries and cream, and a raspberry cheesecake. yum yum I normally never do a review on menu pages but this was worth the effort. Staff are great, friendly nice relaxed atmosphere, will definitely be back.

I ate there mothers day 09. They had a set menu, food was appropriate for mothers day with roast beef, roast lamb, turkey and veg. It was well priced not too busy service was good. Service has vastly improved I had not been for over 1 year because of poor slow service.

Merrys Gastro Pub & Restaurant
Main Street Lower, Dungarvan, Waterford

mediocre at best. Has the look of a gastro pub but the food falls short. Had the chowder it was like dishwaterl, greasy, watery with poor quality fish. Risotto - unimaginative, belly pork good but not great. The waitress was pleasant but a senior member of staff was unprofessional and sneering.
