This place is without a doubt my favourite for Sundays. The Family Lunch menu between 1-4pm is such great value and my 6year old and 15month old both love not only the food but the attention they get from the staff. They are so helpful and friendly. The decor is a bit naff and dull but once you taste the food this does not matter. They also have good deals for Takeways if your wanting a cosy night in.I would highly recommend this place to people with children as the staff are so accomodating.

I really love this place. Have eaten here on a number of occasions, be it family get togethers, meal for 2 etc. The staff are very accomodating and helpful. The food speaks for itself. My favourites are the suppli to start and lasagne or penne toscana and finish with funky pie! Great value for money as portions are very generous. I will continue to come here again and again.

The Martello (Bray)
Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

Above average pub grub...but the service brought my rating down. They waiting staff are slow and not very polite or helpful. The food however was lovely I love the brie to start and chicken tenders and chips as a main. My son had the kids size lasagne and ate it all up. My boyfriend cut into a very nicely cooked lamb shank and ve. All in all its a great place for families to go for some relaxed sunday grub and finish it off with a stroll along the seafront!

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Was disappointed...ate here on saturday night with my bf, using our Menupages voucher. Usually I love this place but it was lacking something. The caeser salad which I usually love had some brown ilted leaves in it....put off. The wings that my bf had were very very spicy. Pizza was ok and he loved his prawns but there were not very many of them on the plate. I put it down to just a bad night as this place is usually faultless.

Cafe Solo (Killiney)
Killiney SC, Rochestown Avenue, Killiney, Dublin

I get my lunch here twice a week...always the same thing, a Chicken, Brie and Cranberry Pannini. It is devine and so big that I dont even eat dinner that evening. It is great value, take away for just €5. My son loves the cheesecake or chocolate cake as a treat. And the odd saturday we go for the breakfast which is yummy! The staff are friendly and remember your face always. Lovely also in the summer for eating outside. This place is a real gem and there is nothing on the menu that I would not eat!! Yum Yum!

Ameer Palace
16 Sth Main Street, Youghal, Youghal, Cork

I like this place. I go here when I visit my friend who is a local and a huge fan of this little place. It looks run down form the outside and when you step inside the decor and the size of the place can be off putting as it is cramped. But the food really is lovely and the staff are very attentive. I love the Tikka Masala and really fresh Naan. Always bring a bottle or 2 of our own wine which saves a few pennies. Its worth visiting!

Mao Restaurant (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Ate here on a Saturday afternoon. Was'nt too busy but nevertheless staff were not very attentive or patient. Seating arrangments are not great downstairs either as people are constantly walking around your table. Food however made up for all of these things. Really tasty and big portions. The highlight for me was playing with the chopsticks!!!!

The Brasserie @ Leopardstown
Bewley's Hotel Leopardstown, Central Park , Leopardstown, Dublin

Ate here on Velentines evening...myself and my boyfriend had the set menu. Soup and wings for starters, we both then had steak which was cooked to perfection and ice cream and hot chocolate fondant to finish. It was really lovely. The booths made it private and the waiting staff were excellent. We will defo be back!!
