Went there during the week it was very quiet which was a good thing. The menu is really good has a lot of choices and the waiters give you enough time to choose. I had the goat cheese and the fried squid as a starter and the veal as a main and i can not complain about the food. The goat cheese in particular i would go back for. The house red complimented the veal really well.

San Lorenzos
South Great Georges Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

went there with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. I had booked a table over the phone. As soon as we arrived we found the furniture a bit dated and the place looked a little cheap. We where greeted really well however the menu is really confusing because there is too much choice. I had the meatballs and my girlfriend had the fish and i have to say the food is really good even though the prices are above average.

Cafe Bar H
Grand Canal Plaza, Dublin 2, Grand Canal Dock, Dublin

went there the end of last year with a few friends the menu has a lot of interesting food. We all decided to get calamari rings. The calamari rings are the best i have had in a long time. They where not too fatty and the sauce that comes with them is really tasty. They also have a good selection of cocktails, and i have to say the atmosphere is really good if you thinking of somewhere nice near the city but not too crazy.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill
51 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

This place is has a good atmosphere and it is well located however the service is better than the food. From the moment you enter the staff are really friendly and make sure you are comfortable. Me and my friend ordered the halibut with the hand cut chips the food was good but not exceptional was expecting it to be a lot better due to the hype of the resturant. The wine selection however is amazing and you can choose from a range of Tasty white and red. I would back to try their steak

Corfu Greek Restaurant

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

me and my girlfriend went there a few weeks ago it was my second visit there. The service begins rather efficiently however if you take time to choose what you want to drink you could wait a good ten 15 mins waiting for a waiter because it is so busy. The wine selection is really good and the house wine is not too pricy. The food is defiantly above average, if you want good steak or prawns they really cook the food well. The price of the food is slightly over priced but i guess putting everything into account it is worth it.

Brasserie Restaurant
Hilton Hotel Kilmainham, Inchicore, Dublin

Went on a date last friday, This place has a really romantic setting and it is really private, tables are well spaced gives you a really private enviroment. The service was impeccable and second to none very attentive waiters. I ordered the seafood chowder as a starter and it served it's purpose. I then had the pan fried salmon as a main and thought the food was above average but nothing special. The food is priced rather steep but considering your in the Hilton hotel it was not to bad.

Cactus Jacks (Middle Abbey St)
Millennium Walkway, Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Italian Quarter, Dublin

A group of us went for some food here. They had just introduced their new menu and we ordered a few tapas to share, some Nachos, Gacamole which were really amazing. The Service was below average as they forgot about the table and took forever to bring drinks. This was a little dissapointing because the place was not busy at all. I ordered the Fajitas and i have to say they were absolutely amazing and were cooked to perfection. The wine was amazing and the atomosphere was very relaxed overall a great place to sit down and have a laugh and enjoy good food

The Humble Bean
68 Aungier Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Me and my mate went there for lunch ordered a ceaser salad and it was really nice. A really relaxed place to grab a cup of tea and a light lunch with no pretendious food on the menu. If you are looking for a place with good old fashioned food this is the place to go.

profile_review

Farm Restaurant (Dawson Street)
3 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

Went there with my mate for dinner the service was above average, they took time to listen and advise us on what we shout taste and the different types of wine. The place was not that busy at all and it is a great Restaurant to go to if you want a quiet or romantic time. The food is really organic, healthy and very fresh. We both had soup for the starter. I had fish for my main and my mate had the lamb. I was not jumping out of my seat with excitement of the taste of the food but i will say that it serves the purpose, the food is good but not spectacular. The price is reasonable and i am sure you have a good time.

Pichet
14/15 Trinity Street, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

After hearing about so much about this place i was really happy to there however i was left a little disappointed as the whole night went from good, then bad then horrible. Started of with a friendly welcoming, however after we got seated i felt that the rest of the customers where getting all the attention and we were left to wait. It was so unfriendly that when i asked one of the waiters/waitress where the restroom where they had the audacity to ask if i was a customer. The food took forever to come out and when it did come out the portions left a lot to be desired. I had wanted the night to be so great since i was going to be paying above average prices. The food was nothing i had not had before and i was left really confused on how i had paid so much for a below average night. I guess expected so much from this restaurant. However the only good thing i will say is that at the end of the night someone did approach to ask how the evening went and we shared our concerns

The Cedar Tree
11a St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Me and two friends went for dinner, The service i have to say is impeccable very friendly. I had chicken and some potatoes the portions were okay. It is a very different experience and worth trying the atmosphere is really good as well and prices are okay definately recommend this place if you are to trying something diffirent.

The Grand Central Cafe Bar
O'Connell Street, O'Connell St, Dublin

great place to chill out hang with friend that menu is good and the portions are great. The wine was good and i enjoyed the service. For a pub they give you a lot better service then some resturants. Very relaxing and the fingure food is really nice will probably be coming back to this place

The Winding Stair Restaurant
40 Lower Ormond Quay, Dublin 1 , City Centre North, Dublin

Okay well decided to finally go there for dinner on sunday Night. And since i had heard a lot of positive reviews i thought i would check it out for myself. To be frank i was left a little dissapointed. Now maybe it was the high expectations that distorted my view but i was still unhappy. This is not the cheapest place in dublin fair enough, therefore i ecpected better. Me and my mate both ordered soup for a starter we had to wait more than 15 mins with know form communication and when it came it was just "SO WHAT" it was like drinking water left me with nothing, very basic and plain. I had the vernison, and i got to tell you it was cooked to perfection, however the rest of the stuff on the plate where just very average very filling and good potions. The wine was okay and the service was mediocre i expected much more and i was left wanting more and i expected more for what i paid. Do not think i will be going there again

Centre Stage Cafe
6 Parliament Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Great place if you are looking for a quick breakfast, have lots of options, brown, multigrain and white bread. Had a chicken toasted sandwich and a soup the service was good and the food satisfied my needs. They do takeaway as well and it really efficient service.

La Caverna Restaurant & Wine Bar
12 Fownes Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

only went there because they were offering discount card on the street. They had ostritch as a special and since i like it i thought should be good but i was really dissapointed because they had over cooked it. The place also looked really unorganised, the menus were in a bad state, the table cloths were old and torn, to be frank it is not a nice place at all and i would not recomend it. The service is so so nothing special.

The Bank on College Green
20-22 College Green, City Centre South, Dublin

The grilled seabass is second to none for a pubbish place where you go and chill with mates after work. Great atmosphere, very relaxed great service and extremely happy experience will be going there again and again

profile_review

Mongolian Barbeque
7 Anglesea Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Okay i am devided with this restaurant, beacuse on one part you get unlimited food, the experience is nice but when we went it was over crowded. We had booked a table but it took them 15mins before they could seat us i think they had forgotten and there was a group table and the waiters forgot about us, We had to drag them to order our drinks and even then they brought the wrong ones. They were under pressure and could not handle the people. The place was noisy and where we were sitting was next to the salad bar and because of the number of people they were obstructing our sitting arrangement. Having said that the whole idea of the food been cooked in such an original way is second to none

profile_review

Ciao Bella Roma
24/25 Parliament Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

It st stephens day and did not expect anywhere to be open. We were glad to find this place. However the place was really busy. Me and a few friends decided to order from the main menu and that was the shortfall of the day. They completely forgot about us, the food took almost an hour to come out and since we had no starter, they did not offer us bread like they did to other customers. No one came to talk to us to see if we were okay. Considering we were ordering from the main menu and therefore paying more we expected to have some sort of attention. They jus all walked passed and smilled. When the food came it was not worth the wait i will struggle going back to this place

profile_review

Brunos
Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went there for dinner, they have a deal where you get any main starter and dessert for the same price. The food is okay, i was not jumping out of my chair. It is very relaxed and not very busy so a nice place to sit down have a chat or have a date. Service is above average since it is quiet you can get your food and any attention need in a timely manner

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Crow Street
2 Crow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went for lunch with work mates. Friendly atomosphere, they are very welcoming, took my coat at the door and made sure i had a comfortable seat. We all ordered steak i had a fillet that was cooked to perfection. The quality of the steak was really good and everybody around me had their steaks cooked to specific order. However will say the price is slightly inflated but i guess you have to pay for a good steak i recommend this place if you like your red meat

profile_review

Mannings Bakery

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

went there wednesday night after college i made a mistake of ordering the fish it was absolutely terrible i could not stand it.. My friends had the lamb and the chicken and they found it absolutely amazing. Just one thing it takes forever to get your food you have to wait at least 30mins and they do not give you bread whilst you wait

profile_review

profile_review

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

Went there for lunch ordered the trout with roast potatoes i have to say the food was good. The only negative is that they took too long to cook it and there is only one waitress/waiter for the whole floor

profile_review

Yamamori Sushi, Tengu

profile_review

Sheries Cafe Bar
3 Lower Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

went there for breakfast have to say that things have really gone bad in sheries considering a few years ago they made outstanding food. The four of us had breakfast the eggs looked liked they had been cooked in the microwave the portion of beans was horribly small, the mushrooms were burnt and the service was okay a little uncomfortable

profile_review

Ukiyo
7-9 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

went there last monday and me and my house mate shared a sushi plate for the starter and i have got to tell you it was really really good. I then ordered seabass and my housemate ordered the steak. My fish was nothing special i could of cooked better at home the flavour was boring it was like drinking water. The steak however even though rather pricy was all worth the price it was one of the best steaks i have ever tasted, good quality meat and really nice flavours i only wish the fish was cooked the same way. The service was rather ordinary waiters probably require more training.

profile_review

Pinocchio Italian Restaurant & Wine Bar
Luas Kiosk, Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Love this place it is really tine so if you want to sit down and eat you feel as if you are a sardine in a tin of fish. However went there for dinner tonight and because i am diabetic they allow me to tailor my own meal suited to my needs from scratch. Because they have a wide variety of food they and do cooking lessons they always have fresh ingredients available for customers. Will recommend anyone with special needs when it comes to food to come here

profile_review

Botticelli
3 Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

went there on sunday night the one reason i love this place it is the only resturaunt that closes at 12 midnight we had been walking all night at 11.30pm and no where open except fast food and we found this resturaunt great prices good old fashion itallian food the service was nothing special but considering the atomosphere you do not exepect anything special. Ordered pasta carbonara and it was ok, not bad but it was not amazing either but nothing i would complain about. The wine selection is good and the price is very lavish i will definately go back there.

Nandos (Dundrum)
Sandyford Road, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Tonight went to Nandos and i am a big fan because they are in the Uk. Ordered half a chicken, corn and spicy rice my classmate ordered the chicken mediterian salad. I have to asy from the fancy music, to the bottomless drinks and the self service it is a very relaxed place. We had a portugese red wine and was amazing. But the big thing for me was the food, my chicken was cooked incredibly i mean come on!!!! how often do you find such good quality meals for such a reasonable price.in ireland. The bathrooms were clean and private, the waiters at the door where kind and managment came to check if our meal was fine. I recommend this place, best resturaunt in dundrum by a clear mile could eat their literally every day

profile_review

The Oval Bar
78 Middle Abbey Street, City Centre North, Dublin

went for lunch with my work mate she ordered the veggi soup and i order the lamb irish stew. My workmate found the soup horrific, it was tasteless even if you added pepper. My lamb irish stew was nothing special. However the waitress was bubbly and very helpful and even though the food was not amazing she more than made up for it with her service.

profile_review

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

Tonight i went Jo burger been there many times, I ordered the brockley salad i am diabetic so their salads are amazing huge and leave you really full and are very healthy and fresh. I thought the music was a little bit too loud me and my firend could not really hear each other. It tends to lack personal space because your sitting on a bench and your next to some random person you dont know it kinda reminds you of very ancient boarding school. There is lack of space and you are a little bit squashed and your neighbours can easily listen to your private convastion or steal someting of you. Dont get me wrong though will still go there food is amazing

profile_review

Green Nineteen
19 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

Great dinner on Wednesday probably one of the greatest resturaunts for value for money i ordered the chicken pot roast and come on !!!!!! it was outstandingly good on any standard. The meal is was only 10 euro and if we were to base this on quality and quantity there is no reason why i would not pay more for that meal. The place is always packed but i always get great food and service would recommend anyone to try this place out probably a little out of town but it is worth it.
