very pleasant dining experience. staff are very pleasant and are very attentive. food was absolutely delicious. steak was cooked to perfection and was a decent size. the tagliatelle belezza was to die for.... made with fresh pasta and a light creamy sauce. deserts were out of this world. they were all home made, and the most expensive desert is only 3.50 . the pavlova was delicious with fresh cream and fresh fruit and didn't even cost 3 euro. the sticky toffee pudding is also amazing. they also offer a bring your own wine service . the staff were more than happy to open the two bottles of wine that we brought. although they did not have ice, the waitress provided us with a wine cooler that kept the wine cool. although the restaurant is very small, the atmosphere is buzzing and created an enjoyable experience. will definitely be returning for the amazing service, quality and value

restaurant was extremely quiet, however the food was authentic italain and was just divine. we received a complimentary appetiser and glass of wine which were both beautiful... the meal size was smaller then hoped but despite this it was amazingly delicious. the fresh ingredients used rely made the food highly enjoyable. would definitely recommend .

Hacketts Bar
Main Street Schull, Schull, Cork

this is an absolute favourite if mine .... the atmosphere here is buzzing and the service is brilliant .... the food here is also amazing .... the enchiladas are my favourite freshly made with a homemade tomato sauce and heaps of local cheese which is distinctively delicious. i come here a few times every summer and plan to for the coming years and it is yet to disappoint

Grand Hotel
Ashe Quay, Fermoy, Cork

very mediocre food for a restaurant with many local recommendations ..... meals were not prepared fresh .... the hot food was a let down however the desert here was mouthwatering , even though it was tiny.

Thai Lanna
11 McCurtain St Fermoy, Fermoy, Cork

very quite restaurant, but the food makes up for it. i had the beef in garlic sauce and i must say it was nicer than anything asian i have ever eaten. the rice that accompanied it was also very moist and tasty and worked a treat with the sauce from the main meal.... it was far from the bland rice normally gotten from an asian sit down / take away . i was well impressed by the food here and i will definitely be returning

Corbett Court
Kilworth, Fermoy, Fermoy, Cork

food here is really really nice. the menu has a lot to offer and caters for all dietary requirements. although the service was poor, the 40 minute wait was well worth it. the deserts here are out of this world and are prepared on view to the customers in the dining area. they are seen to be freshly prepared and are quite large for the small price tag. would definitely recommend!

Cornstore
40 Cornmarket Street, Cork City, Cork

food was amazing. best I've had in a long time. the steaks were jus delicious .althought the early bird is expensive , it is well worth it. the sticky toffee pudding desert was the best I've ever had. although the cocktails we order were almost 13 euro each they were the best I've ever had. i would highly recommend getting the hemming way cocktail , it was just divine. would definitely return

Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant (Cork)
48 McCurtain Street Fermoy, Fermoy, Cork

i visited this restaurant after a friend recommended it to me. i booked a table on the phone with a loud and rude lady who put me on old twice, even though i could still hear her speaking abruptly to other staff. unfortunately when i arrived i still had to wait 20 minutes to be seated . the decor is quite dated the shabby table clothes are not appealing. it was over 15 minutes before we received water and some cheap crackers in an oil covered basket. although it was busy , staff tried their best to accommodate my dietary requirements as i am coeliac . i cannot complain about the soup starter but it was nothing to sing about . the main course, however, was disappointing . while i had a dish recommended to me by a friend , i was unable to get this made gluten free. their gluten free choices are very limited, and what i received were frozen veg and some overcooked chicken in a watery tasteless sauce, which was accompanied by a small bowl of rice which i had to pay extra for. when i complained to the waiter , and asked for the manager, another waiter was merely sent down to apologise. deserts looked delicious on the menu but when it arrived it was a tiny frozen bought-in desert which i regretted paying over 5 euro for. while some of the staff were very pleasant, others were very dismissive and rude. will not be returning here.
