Cannot say enough about this restaurant. The staff are fantastic, the food is delicious and so fresh, and the prices are almost ridiculously cheap. I'd recommend the special starter for two - a selection of cheeses, meats and crostini. Absolutely fantastic restaurant!

Zen Thai
17 Main Street, Newbridge, Newbridge, Kildare

We ate here last Saturday - 7 of us for a birthday celebration, and had a great night. The food was excellent, and the service was so friendly. They had no problem with us bringing a cake, and made sure we all enjoyed oursleves. Although the place was busy, we were not rushed at all. Great value for money, and a lovely restaurant. I will definitely be back.

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here with a few friends after work one evening. I was a little disappointed that the menu is quite limited, but the food was delicious. One of the nicest steaks I have eaten in a while, and everyone else at our table thought their food was great as well. Nice atmosphere, and although a little expensive, worth it overall.

Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Lovely Italian restaurant. The food is very good, portions are huge, and the service is friendly. A girl at the table next to ours was celebrating her birthday, and the waiters dimmed the lights, and rapped on a glass to get everyone’s attention, then got the whole restaurant to sing her Happy Birthday!! Not the place for a quiet romantic meal though, as the restaurant is very noisy!

Tree Top
Over Laurels Pub, Main Street, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

Really nice local restaurant. Service is very good. No need to book - if a table is not ready, you can sit and order a drink from the waiter while waiting for a table. The food is really decent simple food cooked very well. Good choice on the menu and very reasonable prices.

ely bar & brasserie
CHQ Building, Georges Dock, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin

Excellent restaurant - the staff are very friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I've only been here for lunch once or twice, but would really love to come back for dinner some time. The food here is excellent, and well worth the price. I had the tuna sashimi, which was just perfect. The homemade bread they serve is delicious as well. Both times I went there was a fairly large group of us. We all got served at the same time, and nobody was disappointed with their meal. A great place to go for a treat!!

Kudos Restaurant (IFSC)
Clarion Hotel Dublin, IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

Have been here for lunch a few times, and have never been disappointed - the food has always been fantastic. Really fresh and full of flavour. The service can sometimes be a little slow, but I think that is to be expected for such a popular restaurant at lunchtimes - especially as the place always seems to be packed. Good value for menu, with most mains being €10 - €12 for lunch, and portions are quite generous. Definitely recommend this place!

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Really liked the menu, which has a small Japanese Teppanyaki section, as well as a large choice of Thai dishes. The service was excellent - attentive without being intrusive, and there was a good buzz about the place, even on a Tuesday night. The food was a little disappointing though. I had the sashimi starter, and the tuna didn't taste as fresh as it could have been. The Thai green curry also was a bit boring. Overall, the food was good without being great. Except for the chocolate cake, that is - I was really sorry that I didn't order my own, instead of one to share!!
