Really cant fault this restaurant. Great staff, and beautifully prepared fresh thai food. Lots of variety. Great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The pianist and the singers really add to the atmosphere. Even came over to our table to sing Happy Birthday to the birthday girl. Had a special night out in Siam Thai!!!

We were a party of 10 and booked a table for 6.30 for early bird which finished at 7. The meal started off well, we ordered wine and the staff brought out some nice dips and breads for us to chew on while we waited for the last two members of our party to join us. They gave us the menus and we immediately noticed they were not the early bird so we asked to see the early bird menu. It was now just gone 6.40 and the waitress tried to tell us the early bird finishes at 7 and we weren\'t ready to order. We told her if we could have the menus we would get the order in by 7. She stood some distance from the table discussing this with the \'manager\' and would not come back over to the table for 10 minutes. The so called manager that tried to tell us the early bird finishes at 7, again we asked for the menu so we could order. He was obviously annoyed that he would have to let us order from the menu we had booked and confirmed on the phone. They immediately started whipping back the dips and breads which obviously weren\'t included. We could do nothing but laugh at how ridiculous they were acting. The food was nice, chicken was succulent and tasty, and the atmosphere in the restaurant (apart from the atmosphere the staff were causing) was lovely. Decor is very authentic with nice lighting. He did come over half way through the meal and apologies for his behaviour earlier so I will give this restaurant another shot and hopefully the childish manager will have grown up by then.

Gourmet Food Parlour Swords
Unit 2 St Fintans, North Street, Swords, Swords, Dublin

Nice restaurant. Lovely atmosphere. Meatballs were ok sauce was nothing special just your adverse ragu would have liked a little more garlic or onion. We ordered 3 tapas each and they wait till you\'ve finished one to bring the next which is a nice concept if you are sharing but my partner doesn\'t eat any ofthe dishes I ordered so his 3 dishes came before mine and I was left waiting for quite a time. They should have asked which order or at least if we were sharing. Also I asked for the camenbert to be cooked through so the cheese melted, it was cold and rock hard in the middle. I had waited so long I said nothing to the waitress. Desserts were fab service was friendly. We will try this place again it had alot good points also! The rest of out dishes were lovely

Bon Appetit
9 James Terrace, Malahide, Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

Food was fab. Out with the girls party of 10 had a lovely round table so everyone could chat. Had the black Pudding starter, exceptionally tasty and well presented as was the pork. Many in out group had the €75 deal. 2 starters, 2 mains and btl wine. Great value. Only one small complaint. Orderd the creme brûlée which wasn\'t traditional creme brûlée, may have had a touch of Hestons influence and although tasted nice consisted of a jar full of foam. Will most definitely be back!

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We ate at Burnos Aries grill last night. Prob my only complaint was that we had rang about 5 times and nobody answered. Its ok tho, restaurants can get busy and they did phone me back within the hour. So we walked in off the street and were escorted to a nice table. The restaurant was cosy and warm on a cold night, and the staff were really lovely, friendly and smiley and seemed to enjoy their work. we had one of those ciry deals and it was worth every penny. My friend had the chicken wings, sooo tasty. . I had the prawns in sesame seeds on a fragrant stick of lemongrass- Beautiful. We both had the 8 oz fillet. Big fat juicy chunk of meat, presented beautifully with delicious chunky homemade chips. If I am being really critical, maybe the steak was a tiny tiny bit tough, but still very nice. Had the Chocolate Lava cake for dessert- TO DIE FOR! Rich and sumptuous accompanied by just the right amount of vanilla ice cream Had a really pleasant meal, will defo be back.

Il Fornaio (Raheny)
55 Kilbarrack Road, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, BADLY PREPARED FOOD, POOR ATTITUDE. Ate here last Sunday week. Have eaten here before, and have ordered take away a couple of times which has always been fine, but will most definitely not be returning after our last experience. I ordered the prawn gnocchi. The prawns were not cleaned properly. Each and every prawn in the dish had a thick black line of intestine still inside. I understand this can happen with the odd prawn when you order them, but most restaurants would do their best to prepare them correctly. Every single prawn was filled with thick black intestine. Very unpleasant! When the waitress returned, I politely said, I don't want to be complaining and simply pointed out the intestine, expecting she would offer me an alternative dish?? She took the dish and said she would speak to the chef, only to return to tell me " If I wanted the intestine removed, I should ask BEFORE next time". No apology, no offer of an alternative dish, no small gesture to rekindle my faith in their food. So after handing back an almost full plate of food, not one prawn eaten, I was charged €13.95. I think we were actually in shock at their poor attitude, and complete disregard for their customers satisfaction, I didn't want to have to argue so we just got the bill and immediately left. The next day, I sent an email the next day to the manager explaining the situation. My email was completely ignored, hence I am here on menupages to share my bad experience. Will obviously never be going back.

Greedy Goose
15 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

mmmm mixed feelings about this place... there was 8 of us last Sat night....With a name like the Greedy Goose, you would expect to leave here, stuffed.. this was far from the case....While some of the dishes were fab, recommend the Surf and turf and prawn platter.. The bruchetta was pathetic, 3 rather tiny slices of bread, with a few scattered tiny morsels of tomato, not great!! Soup was delicious, Sea bass TINY but delicious... We waited nearly an hour after the first course, so by this time had downed far too much vine on an empty stomach, so were all feeling a little tipsy... Having said that, the food is really lovely, but having spent €55 per head, and leaving hungry, felt this was extremely BAD VALUE!! Not sure if i would go back, if they only brought the courses a little closer together, and if the tasting menus offered 4 courses instead of 3, I would say this place would be a hit....The whole concept of the tasting menu is good, the restaurant itseld is lovely... If you set up a burger stand, outside this restaurant, you would make a fortune..
