The Grapevine Cafe Wine & Tapas Bar
6 Rose Inn Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Went here for dinner on Sunday. They had a special on all day which was 5 tapas, two deserts and a bottle of wine for under €50. The tapas menu was great and there was a lot of choice. The service was great too and will definitely be back.

The Mint Cottage
2A Main Street, Raheny, Dublin

I have been to this restaurant many times now but have not reviewed it in a while so I thought that it was only fair as every time I go I cannot fault it. This visit was for a special occasion and there were some fussy eaters among the party but both the waiter and manager could not do enough to accommodate everyone and the service was excellent even though the restaurant was packed. All our dishes were excellent and and the price of the house wine was very reasonable. The cod starter was amazing and a must try. A really nice touch was that after the meal we were offered a free drink and not forgetting the lovely popadoms and dips for free when you arrive. It's a great addition to Raheny and I hope it there for years to come - keep up the good work.

Six of us went for a meal in Scotch Bonnet last week with the Menupages offer. It was al first time at Scotch Bonnet for all. I have to say I was very impressed with both the food and service. I will definitly be returning and would recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting Malahide. The spicy chicken wings were especially good.

I visited Salamanca on a Monday night. Restaurant was busy even though it was a Monday. Food was delicious we were ordering a lot of different tapas to try. I visted Indie Spice on Saturday last week they have a 2 course Lunch for €7.95. It is a great offer the food is fresh and delicous. Its a recession buster alright!! You have to go and try if you like Indian you will not be disappointed the offer is up to 2.30p.m., they are strict on this time as when we were there a coupe of people came about 5 miutes after 2.30 and did not get offered the menu.

Langkawi
46 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

I went for a meal in Langkawi on Saturday night. I had originally booked the meal for 8 but got delayed. I called the restaurant and they said it was not a problem to push it back to 8.45 which was great. When we arrived there was a table set up at the end of a big table which was fine but our waitress hold on a second there is a nicer table up near the window which is free. They then set this table up for us which had more privacy. I have never eaten Malaysian food before so the menu was a little confusing for the first time but our waitress explained all of the dishes to us which I found very helpful. The starters were lovely I would recommend the spicy lamb mince balls. The starters were so nice and the portions were big that we asked could we have 15-20 mins before are mains again this was fine. There was another guy there that was very helpful and it was a absolutely lovely meal. The food is amazing. I also got 20% of the bill for booking through menu pages which was just the icing on the cake. I will be back here again and would recommend to a friend.

Kinara Restaurant
318 Clontarf Road, North Co. Dublin , Clontarf, Dublin

Went to Kinara on Friday night the food was beautiful. The service was outstanding. Our waiter went through the menu with us and advised which courses may be too spicy or which naan bread would complement are the type of dish we ordered. His attention to detail was outstanding and we were very well looked after. I would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anybody. This restaurant is fantastic.
