Best Value in Dublin! I eat here regularly and struggle to find anywhere that offers the same quality of food and service for such a low price. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The lamb cutlets main course is easily my favourite dish in dublin (ask for pepper sauce on the side instead of the mint sauce).

This is a great restaurant. I have eaten here many times and I am never disappointed with the food. The portions are generous, the free prawn crackers are delicious (and spicy) and the rice/noodles are always cooked to perfection. My only negative is that we arrived early in the evening a couple of times, when it was quite empty but overstaffed. The staff tend to all stand near the dining tables which feels a little imtemidating when you are the only customers sitting nearby. They are still very friendly however and the service is always excellent.

Lord Bakers Seafood Restaurant
Main Street, Dingle, Dingle, Kerry

I went here for dinner with a group of 13 last weekend. I had the garlic crabs claws for starters and the grilled lobster for main. Both were perfectly cooked and very delicious. The staff were friendly and served all 13 of us at the same time with no mistakes or delays. Everybody was very happy with their meal. If you are staying in Dingle and like seafood, I recommend Lord Bakers above all others for dinner.

Mother Reillys Restaurant
The Uppercross Hotel, Opp Tesco, Rathmines, Dublin

This pub is a hidden gem! I eat here regularly due the atmosphere in the pub and quality of the food. The chicken wings are amazing and could give anywhere a run for their money (beware of ordering the "buffulo wow" flavour as they are VERY spicy). The chicken kiev and their steaks are delicious. The service is always chatty and friendly. I know its not on the food menu but the Guiness is always quality. This is a great place for a pint, a meal and occasional live music.

Partridges Artisan Cafe & Fine Food Shop
93 Main Street, Gorey, Wexford

I heard great thing about Patridges so I decided to visit it while in Gorey last saturday. My first taste of food was some free olive and duck samples at the deli counter which were delicious. I ordered the tiger prawn and pesto risotto from the lunch menu. It was slightly expensive for a lunch menu but it was one of the nicest risotto's i've eaten and well worth the money in the end. My girlfriend ordered the anti-pasti plate. It was nice and fresh with a good mixture of elements, although anti-pasti is generally very hard to get wrong. I will definitely be returning and I look trying the evening menu.

Eddie Rockets (Rathmines)
Lower Rathmines Road, South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

I eat here regularly as I live nearby. The food is always piping hot and well cooked and the staff are quite friendly, regardless of your sobriety. They can be slightly understaffed sometimes as only one waitress works most weeknights and struggles to cope if it gets in anyway busy. Also, if you happen to arrive near midnight, be sure to let the waitress know if are ordering your food before 12 o'clock otherwise you might find yourself paying the post-midnight order surcharge.

La Mere Zou
22 St Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

Great restaurant! I ate here with my girlfriend for her birthday. I found the setting very nice and relaxing and the staff very friendly. We were served with some amazing breads, olives and dips while we were waiting for our first course. I had the snails to start which were delicious, as was the sauce they came in. My main of daulade was cooked perfectly and very tasty. Great all round dinner experience. I can't wait to return and try their early bird menu!

Royal Tandoori
95 Terenure Road North, South Dublin, Terenure, Dublin

I love this place! The fact that you can bring your own drink basically means that they have the largest wine selection in ireland and at off-license prices!! The food is always great and I love the chicken korma. The staff are alays very friendly and there is a very relaxed atmosphere. It would easily be my favourite Indian restaurant in Dublin and I would recommend it to everyone.

Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

I went here for sunday dinner recently, after hearing very good things. I found the staff to friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I found the menu quite limited and I think I made a mistake in opting for a burger for main. The fish cakes starters however were delicious. The prices were very reasonable however next time I think I will try something other than the burger!!

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

I find myself eating here a lot (mostly due to the addictive nature of the chicken wings). There is always a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and chatty. The menu is quite limited if you're not interested in a steak or a burger. Regardless the food that is available is always delicious, especially the beef noodles. Great place to eat for a friendly, informal meal.

Howards Way (Rathgar)
8 Orwell Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

I brought my parents here for dinner last week. As always the staff were very friendly. I had the chicked wings to start which comes in a very generous portion. I found them very tasty, if not a bit messy (but thats half the fun). I had the fish'n'chips for main which was perfect. The place great value given the high quality of the food and the free bottle of wine we got with the 3 main courses. Highly recomended for anyone wanting great food at great value.

Alfies
10 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here on a sunday afternoon. We ordered the €12 three course special, thinking we were in for a very good deal! It turned out to be just a portion of each course. Regardless, it was still very tasty and well presented. It did fill us but left plenty of room for a cheese board (which was very good). The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Will definitely be returning.
