Went on a busy Friday night, the waitress was very pleasant and service was quick. Nachos were delicious and my friend had the duck spring rolls which she said were also very nice. She had the noodles with prawns there lots of prawns and it had a lovely flavour. I had the vegetable curry, the curry was very nice but could have done with more variety of veggies in it, there were only peppers and onions so was a bit boring. Overall Good value for money and tasty food and great service

Cafe Madeleine
1 A Richmond Road, Drumcondra, Dublin

3 of us went for breakfast here today. It's a small but cosy little coffee shop at Richmond road near drumcondra bridge. Seems to be quite busy. Staff were so nice and friendly and the breakfasts were delicious. 2 full Irish and 1 veggie breakfast. Good value too, will definitely return.

McGoverns Malahide
The diamond, Main Street , North Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

We went here for a late lunch/early dinner and both really enjoyed it. Staff were extremely friendly and efficient. Himself had the steak and said it was cooked to perfection and onion rings that came with it were very tasty. I had the falafel wrap which was nice but a bit more choice for vegetarians would have been good. Soup and pate were both excellent. Mentioned to the waitress that we are getting married on sat and they gave us a lovely dessert with hearts on it complimentary which was a lovely touch. Will definately return.

Absolutely delicious as always. Service friendly and very quick and a buzzing ambience. Only problem is we always order too much and leave with really full bellies!

Zaytoon (Lower Camden Street)
44-55 Lower Camden Street, Dublin 2, Camden Street, Dublin

Rudest staff I have ever encountered! They literally throw the food at you and if they get order wrong which the did for 2 of us it's as if it's your fault not theirs! Food is quite tasty but don't expect service with a smile here

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

Very disappointed with the food here, has really gone downhill. 4 of us went for lunch and won't be returning. One of us ordered the half roast chicken which was completely dried out and tasteless. The chicken wings were greasy with very little sauce and the chips just tasted like dirty chip oil. The garlic bread and deep fried Brie were nice. Mabey we caught them on an off day but it could be so much better

Gourmet Teahouse
The Grange, Ballyboughal, Dublin

We went using a menu pages voucher which cost 25 euro for allegedly 50 euro worth of food. 2 starters 2mains and 2 glasses of wine. There is no way that what we got would ever have cost 50 euro! The place is very quaint and cute and staff were nice and friendly. They had no white wine at all and no choice given on what red or rose was available. Had a choice of 3 starters and 3 mains. We both had pea soup for starter and it was lovely. My husband got steak for main, it was that really thin cheap steak that costs very little, no wonder they didn't state what kind of steak it was on menu! I had quiche which was quite nice. Overall what we got wasn't a good deal, it's more of a place to go for breakfast or Coffee and a scone than a full meal I would say.

Hogs and Heifers

13 of us went for Easter Sunday lunch and we all really enjoyed it. Staff were very friendly and good was delicious. I loved the vegetarian burger and the other 12 carnivores all said the ribs/wings/roast chicken etc were delicious! Looking forward to going back for an evening meal and to see the live music

Food was delicious and reasonably priced as were the 2 cocktails for 9 euro! Service was extremely fast and friendly. Potato skins starter with salad was really tasty.

Mulino's
23 Watermill road, North Dublin, Dublin 5, Raheny, Dublin

Went for Sunday lunch with the family which was 20 euro for 3 courses which seems like good value but we were all very disappointed (all 11 of us). Service wasn't bad and starters were ok although a very limited choice with only 4 options. Some of us ordered the homemade beef burger and fries. The burger was absolutely tiny with nothing on it and skinny fries very disappointing. I ordered the mushroom risotto which was in a creamy gloopy sauce and the rice wasnt cooked enough, when I told the waiter this as he was clearing away the dishes he just shrugged his shoulders and didnt say a thing!! Dessert again was tiny with only a choice of 3, it was served on a warm plate with ice cream completely melted. We all live locally and have been here before many times but after today won't ever return again...

Main Street, Ballyconnell, Cavan

Excellent value for money with delicious vegetarian options available, the vegetable curry was one of the best ive had and the homemade chips were so tasty! So good we had to go back 2 nights later! Friendly and efficient staff on both nights we were there. Would highly recommend it.
