TGI Friday (Blanchardstown) restaurant
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 15
Reviewed 22nd March 2010 ( visited 17th March 2010 )We called into TGI on the busiest day of all St. Patricks. We were told we would be waiting half hour for a table and directed to the bar to have a drink. My husband is a non drinker and we were delighted to find tgi stock j20 juices. So hard to find in regualr places. We were shown to our table in the half hour and proceeded to order our food. It was served very quickly however, my main was not hot. I asked to have it warmed and a new plate of food was there within 5 mins. Staff and management could not have been nicer. Insisted on paying for our drink as we were not having a dessert. We will certainly go back for the service and the food second to none.
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 22
Reviewed 26th May 2009 ( visited 16th May 2009 )Went to Joels for Sunday dinner this evening. While the waiter was very efficient and friendly the food was only ok. We had starters main and desserts. I was very disappointed with the knickerbockerglory. I had asked the waiter before I ordered it, however it was only jelly and ice cream. Such a shame the good old traditional dessert has been ruined .

We booked a table here with a groupon deal for 4 for Saturday night. Well as steakhouses go I have to say this was the nicest tastiest grub I have had in a long time. The service was brill, food gorgeous, and wine excellent. Great value. We will be back. Don't hesitate in booking this place. Brilliant.
Geisha Asian Restaurant (Ashtown)
73-74 Ashtown Village, Dublin 15, Ashtown, Dublin
We had a meal here with friends on a Sat. night. The food was excellent, service, excellent, atmosphere excellent, in all a very tasty, very good value, very very nice food. My husband and I had the platter for starter and I have to say the flavour was sublime. Will definitely be back . Highly recommend.
Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin
We took ourselves out to Howth for the Prawn Festival this weekend and went into Findlater for dinner. It was fairly packed but we were seated quickly. Our waitress was very efficient, very nice and friendly. Food was delicious. My hubby had the fish pie which he raved over and I had the fish and chips which I have to say was the best I have tasted (second to Burdocks which is high praise indeed). We will be calling again and bringing family with us in the very near future. Great value for money. Thanks to all the staff who were lovely.
LJ's Bar and Restaurant @ Louis Fitzgerald Hotel
Newland’s Cross, Naas Road, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin
Four of us girlies went over to the Hair Show that was organised last Sunday in Louis Fitz. We decided to treat ourselves early for Mother's day and had our dinner there in restaurant. Where do I start. The service was dreadful, food ok lot of bones in the fish,, two of us had fish, other two thai curry. We asked for jug of water before we ordered food it came when the food and all was finished. We were over 3/4 of an hour waiting for food could find no one to serve us drinks even though there were 4 staff on our end so we were told they were obviously the elusive staff members. Really bad show no apologies from bar staff one girl who was serving other end was so nice she is wasted there. Sad to see this kind of service or should I say lack of in an establishment like Louis Fitzgeralds. We won;t be back.
Butterfield Avenue, Rathfarnham Village, Rathfarnham, Dublin
Myself and my husband booked a table for Saturday night. We had vouchers but they had gone out of date. We were allowed to use them still. They were for the Thaali tasting platter. Well all I can say is IT WAS DELICIOUS so tasty. This is a great idea whoever thought of it should be awarded. It is a great way to introduce new tastes and flavours to people. I have not done much indian and would not know what to order. The staff here are lovely and very attentive each one going through the menu to tell us what was what. Food and place and service second second to none really nice night Thank you

Superquinn Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin
A group of 12 arrived here for 9pm last Saturday night. They were as usual very busy. The service and the food was sadly lacking. We got our dinner at 11.15 which was finished before the mash and veg came to the table. The table was served sporadically no one got their dishes together. It was an absolute disgrace. We spent 500 euro and we will not be back. very disappointing.
92 Terenure Road North, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin
We booked a table here for 5 people for Sat. night. We were late arriving as we missed the turn lol however it was no problem. We were shown to our talbe and promptly served with menus and water. Well what an experience!!!! Our food and service was only delicious the place was buzzing and it is no wonder. The staff were lovely but the food and the bill was second to none really good value for 4 course meal. All my party were very impressed with the flavour and presentation. We will definitley be back. Keep doin what you doin it is working well for you,.
Over Laurels Pub, Main Street, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin
We had a table booked for 6 people and I would have to say we were seated and fed very promptly. The food and choice was delicious. The only complaint I would have is one of us was drinking white wine, two drinking red. The wine was brought to the table and just put there, no tasting of the bottle offered, no cooler for the white one.Apart from that the meal was lovely. Service very good too. Nice place will come back again.
12 West Pier, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin
Four of us arrived in Howth early afternoon looking for somewhere to eat. We looked into Deep but it was full doing great business. The lady told us to call back in 10 minutes and she would have a table took our number and true to form rang us in 10minutes for a table. Well all I can say is omg food out of this world. We had hake, the fish pie, mackerel and I can honestly say the flavour, presentation, service all second to none. Will definitely be back lovely lovely lovely grub. No wonder it is so busy. We even had to have dessert lol. Cost about €40per person but it was so worth it. We will be back here.
172 Templeogue Road, Dublin 6w, Templeogue, Dublin
We booked a table here for 8 people celebrating 30th wedding anniversary. We all arrived on time and were seated immediatley. Staff very nice food delicous although there was a long delay for desserts. All our coffees were finished. They did supply fresh cups all round. All in all a lovely night lovely staff will definitley be back.
Princess Garden of Lucan
Esker Hill, Lucan, Lucan, Dublin
We called into Princess Garden on Sunday at 5pm. The range of food was not great, most of which seemed to have been sitting there for a while. Fresh food was added to some of the dishes while we were there. The staff are really lovely and attentive which is such a shame. Most of the dishes were luke warm nothing was hot not even the soup. Don't think we will be back. Shame.
Ashleigh Centre, Main Street, Castleknock, Dublin
We had a lovely meal here on Monday night. Arrived on time seated quickly. Then we were left for quite a while even though we were all ready to order. Eventually we called a waiter for service. They were quite slow with the courses however the food was delicious. Portions were small but very tasty. Good night even though it was slow service.

An Poitin Stil
Naas Road, Rathcoole, Dublin
We brought two of our friends for a meal here last night having being raving about the place since last time we were here. Imagine our embarrassment and disapointment in the food. our poor server could not do enough for us however, it was only 9pm when we arrived. They had no pie, no champ, the food was a disgrace. I could not believe how bad it was. Two of us ordered the half roast chicken, what we got was the poussin with cold mash pototatoes. Phil ordered a steak which arrived to the table with a side order of TWINE. It was also dressed in a sauce when we had asked for it bare. Out of the four meals only one was satisfactory as in he got what he ordered. I have never been so embarrassed as we had been going on so much about the place since it had new chefs. We will not be back. Shame.
Eddie Rockets (Citywest)
Citywest Shopping Centre, Citywest Business Campus, West Dublin, Saggart, Dublin

Service was fast and quick the place was not full so we got seeated quickly. Food was fresh and hot and served nicely. The staff very friendly and nice. Good time had by all.
Unit 11/18 Belgard Square, Tallaght Town Centre, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin
I love this restaurant. Yet again they surpassed themselves in service and food. Myself and my husband went in early sunday evening. It was the emptiest I have seen it for a long time however, we were very early. The waitress was lovely as usual. Great place great value great food. Never disappointed.

Sorrell’s Restaurant at the Green Isle Hotel
Newlands Cross, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin
We visited the hotel for my son's 24th birthday. As usual we were seated promptly and served with our menus. Being regular visitors to the Green Isle we noticed the menu had subtle changes. We ordered our meal. We were very disappointed with the meal. The potatoes tasted of pot as in they had sat too long in it. The roast of the day was beef which was quite tough. Far too much on the plate and the veg were micro waved. Desserts were ok for the other 4 however mine was cheese cake which was very soggy. It's such a pity as this was always somewhere we went to celebrate special occasions. We won't be back .....
