Burritos & Blues restaurant
2 Wexford Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin, Area Code: Dublin 2
Reviewed 22nd January 2014 ( visited 22nd January 2014 )Decent option for a quick lunch, I had the quasedillia along with the salsa fries, both of which were tasty and the veg and salsa was lovely and fresh. The chicken tasted a little dry like it had been cooked a while ago and let dry out. The staff are friendly and attentive. The value is ok. I paid 12.50 inlcuding a coke and quacamole side portion. would eat here again.
10a Merrion Rd, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin, Area Code:
Reviewed 28th August 2012 ( visited 24th August 2012 )I met a couple of friends here for lunch and the group consensus was average. I had a burger with fries and a salad. The burger was ok, nothing special, the fries were good but there was far too much dressing on the salad. My friends both had salads and were not overly impressed. The service was slowish but pleasant and professional. The premises are pleasant and we had a good seat near the front facing windows looking out onto ballsbridge.
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin
I like Rolys. The food is always great and last night was no exception. Delicious fare in a classy and relaxed room. If I had one gripe it was the service. It\'s normally great so I haven\'t slated them! The service was slow and the waiter failed to heed my one out of course request - to have my tea served at the same time as my dessert. Otherwise excellent.
Riverside Guesthouse & Restaurant
Church Street, Charlestown, Mayo
really nice meal here. the chicken riverside is a favourite, its a delicious meal! Service is homely and friendly but not overly fussy. Value wise its reasonable. I had a fresh fruit meringue dessert which was really nice too. Would recommend!
5 South Richmond Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Decent burger and fries. Have had better.
Fontana Cafe Restaurant
21 Camden Street Lower, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Went here for lunch recently. Had a pizza. It was average enough. Staff not overly attentive. Nothing special.
The Art of Coffee
Altro Vetro Building, Pearse street, City Centre North, Dublin
I've been here a couple of times in the last few weeks and am a big fan. The staff are friendly. It's a lovely, well decorated and comfy room. The scones are great. The sambo and soup combo is a good value option and the sandwiches are top quality on reality tasty breads.
The Pig and Heifer
2 Charlotte Way, Harcourt Hall, City Centre South, Dublin
Really enjoyed a chicken and mozzarella ciabatta here. The guy who took my order and made my sambo was very friendly. Cost was 6.50 but the sandwich was large and generously filled. Bread was fresh and delicious. Atmosphere is lively and radio plays in the background. Good lunch option. Quick and easy.
Solas (Wexford St)
31 Wexford Street, City Centre South, Dublin
Ate here with a group of work colleagues for lunch. The food was very slow to come out. Fair enough we were a big group (10/12), but waiting 50 minutes at lunch time is not ideal. THe food is tasty and served in generous portions. I had the burger which was good and the general consensus was positive. Its a little dark for a lunch venue I felt and definately feels like a pub, could be brightend up for the lunch period. The staff werent the most attentive, perhaps aware we had been left waiting and didnt interact much , so no follow up to see did we need ketchup, or ask how the food was. Prices are reasonable enough.

The Hill, Stillorgan, Dublin
I regularly eat here for convenience. Very good bar staff and waiters/watiresses. The 'wing thing' meal is terrific value at 9 euro for a pint, chips and a portion of chicken wings. I like the spicy sauce best and they are my favourite wings that I have found in dublin, very tangy and juicy. The atmosphere is fine, a nice bright pub with tvs showing sports and piped music. Movie posters and pics adorn the walls. Pool table upstairs. Feels clean and lively. A good option for quick tasty and cheap bite to eat.
Bridge Street, Westport, Mayo
Decent pub grub in a nice venue with friendly staff. Good atmosphere in a great location right in the middle of the Town. Three of us stopped in for a snack or light lunch. Wedges were good and the deep fried brie was tasty. Nothing to write home about but decent enough. Good pint of Guiness also. Not too bad price wise.
TGI Friday (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin
Stopped in for some dessert on a wednesday evening. It was very quiet in the restaurant so the atmosphere was lacking. The staff were friendly. I enjoyed the desert which was a a chocolate sundae, one complaint being the creaam didnt taste real (might have been spray cream - cardinal sin in my opinion). Middle of the road experience.
Lough Arrow, Castlebaldwin, Sligo Town, Sligo
A truly excellent restaurant experience. I stayed at the hotel for one night with my Fiance and we booked dinner in the restaurant. The setting is stunning, and the restaurant looks out onto a fabulous view of the countryside and nearby lake. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. I have the fillet beef started which was excellent. For main I decided to try venison, for the first time, and cooked as suggested ; medium. Delicious with lovely sides. Chocolate Cherry Pudding for dessert was very nice also. My fiance thoroughly enjoyed her meal too, and we agreed it was the best we had had in some time. In summary great setting, service and food. Decent value too overall given the high quality. Highly recommended.
Eddie Rockets (Stillorgan)
Stillorgan Shopping Centre, Stillorgan, Stillorgan, Dublin
Stopped in her for desserts recently with a friend. I usually enjoy Eddie Rockets, it consistant decent tasty no nonsense grub. I had a chocolate sundae which I thoroughly enjoed amd my friend had a fruit sundae again which he felt was very good. Overall we were happy with the visit. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is busy and fun. In the past I have enjoyed the onion rings and would also recommend those. Burgers are fine too.
35 South William Street, Dublin 2, South William Street, Dublin
I really was disappointed with my experience here. The service was good and the staff were very nice. However the meal was drab. The meat was only ok. I expected to be blown away going to a proper steakhouse, but I'm sorry to say it was a major letdown. The atmosphere isn't to my liking, nor is the decor. Pricey too. Not recommended.
Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin
Ate here with a friend. THe restaurant was busy as usual so the hostess put us on the list and asked us to call back at a dedicated time. When we returned she barely ackowoledged us and left us standing for 10/15 minutes without speaking to us to explain or even to say how long we would be waiting. Then the beer we ordered they brought out a different beer. When I queries it with staff they explained the one we ordered was out of stock so they had brought a similar one. Again they should had communicated with us. Poor service. Got the wings which have a great rep, and I have had them in the past, and they were great again. Also had a burger which was decent. The restaurant has a lively busy feel and is well located.
Main Street, Holycross, Tipperary
I ate here as part of a group of 12 and the consensus was very good. I enjoyed the black pudding started and a steak for a main meal. The food was very good, my steak was good medium as I had as asked. The accompanying peppercorn sauce was really good. For dessert I had the cheesecake, which was delicious but a little heavy. Generous portion sizes and good service. Its a nicely decorated place and its a pleasant place to be. Value was excellent also for such high quality, Recommmended
Mitchel Street, Thurles, Tipperary
Ate here with a large group of friends and overall the concensus was very good. I enjoyed a black pudding starter which was very tasty. For main I had an excellent steak. The dessert I chose was a medley and it was mixed. The panna cotta was very rubbery but the crumble was very nice. The value was quiet good at around 30 for three courses, and portion sizes were fine. The service was very good, attentive but not intrusive. Our group was 12 and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. The interior and atmosphere was very nice. Would recommend.
Akash Indian Restaurant
7 Georges Ave, South Co. Dublin, Blackrock, Dublin
Decent Indian, good service and tasty food. Excellent location in the heart of blackrock. I have a lovely chicken balti, rice and good naan bread. Not the best Indian I have been too, but perhaps the best one in the blackrock area.
Burritos & Blues
2 Wexford Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin
Great stop for a quick eat. I had a quasedilla which was very nice indeed. The salsa and guacamole were fresh and homemade tasting. Decent value at 7/8 euro plus extra for the guacamole for a large serving size served with tortilla chips. Fast food enviroment but pleasant enough. recommended for fans of mexican food in a hurry.
Dublin Road, Trim, Trim, Meath
Had an evening meal here with my partner. We availed of the reasonably price early bird menu. I had the black pudding started which was only ok. The black pudding was very nice but the accompanying salad wasnt dressed or complimented with any sauce which might has set the dish off. For mains I had a steak which I requested medium but was undercooked. I can put up with that but it lacked flavour and the accompanying fries were not great tasting, large but oily homemade type. Dessert of knickerbocker glory was very good. good quality icecream, fresh fruits and cream. Good quality wine served. Table service was slow but they did apologise. The waitress didnt check in to see did we need anything else or if the meal was ok, so I wouldnt rate the service too highly. The three course early bird was 25 euro and I paid an extra 7 euro for the supplement on steak. I cannot understand how professionals cant get steak right.
Ocean Sands Hotel
Inishcrone, Inishcrone, Sligo
We had a large birthday gathering here at the weekend. The starters were excellent with good reports all round. I had the mushroom and chicken vo au vents which were very tasty and the sauce was spot on. For main I had fillet steak, I asked for medium and I got very well done which was very frustrating. Everything else was delicious to be fair. For the dessert I had some profitteroles which were ok, nothing special. The service was fine, nice staff, the one complaint I would have is that with such a large group they didnt note everyones order by location so when serving they were asking us all again what we had ordered, seems such a silly mistake in their system. Overall recommended
Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)
Unit 40B, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin
Decent fare. I had the spicy beef burger which has a nice kick. the fries were delicious. atmosphere was fine. service was a little hit and miss, for example I wasnt asked how I would like my burger cooked. Value wise there was a good deal for 10 euro which included burger, chips and a drink. I also had chicken wings for a started, they were very small, but they were fairly tasty. Good for a quick hit on the go.
Chapter 1 Cafe
Unit 1, Convent Building, Main Street, Cavan Town, Cavan
I was on business in Cavan and took a chance on chapter one as I was in a rush and had no time to research. It’s a pleasant, bustling café and the seats to the front of house are nice. Very busy for lunch which I saw as a good sign, but the only seat I could get was in a sort of alcove between the café and toilets which wasn’t the best. I had a version of a quesadilla chicken wrap and tea. The wrap was lovely and well presented with two condiments, a Cajun mayo and some sour cream as well as some salad. Recommended for a quick hit lunch.
10a Merrion Rd, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
I met a couple of friends here for lunch and the group consensus was average.
10a Merrion Rd, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
I met a couple of friends here for lunch on a friday at 12. The general consensus was average. I had a burger which was decent but not great. Accompanied by shoe string fries and a salad. the fries were lovely, but there was far too much dressing on the salad. The service was slowish but pleasant and professional. My friends both had salads are were not overly impressed.
Village Bistro at Tonic Bar, Restaurant and Club
5 Temple Road, Blackrock Village, Blackrock, Dublin
I ate here recently and thoroughly enjoyed the “Atmoic” Burger-delicious and recommended. The service is ok, the atmosphere is relaxed and I would eat here again. Value wise its mid range so its not too bad. I paid €15 for the meal and soft drink I think. Portion size was generous enough.
O'Connell Bridge, Burgh Quay, City Centre South, Dublin
Three friends and I ate here recently before a concert. We were looking for quick and reasonable meal and a drink. Messrs did the trick. Three of us had burgers and the other a chowder and we were all satisfied with the quality of the meal, the burger I had was quiet tasty. The service wasn’t too hectic, the atmosphere was lively. The seating area we ate in was nice, with a window view out onto the city centre. Their own beers are good value by city centre prices at €4 and I enjoyed a pint of Haus, much nicer that some of the mass produced beers. Would happily eat there again for a quick, reasonable meal.
The Wytchway Inn
Bohernacrusha, Holycross, Tipperary
We had a family meal here and unanimously enjoyed the restaurant. My starter of goats cheese brushetta was very good. For main I had the sea bass special and it was really good. The potatoe and mushroom in a creamy sauce worked really well with it. For dessert i had sticky toffee pudding which was average enough to be honest. Service was really good, our host was lovely, attentive but not too in our face. The value was really good. There was an offer of 3 courses for 20 euro which most of us went for. Dinner for 6, two guiness, two bottles of wine all for €160 which I thought was good value. Recommended.
Ouzos Bar and Grill Blackrock
Main Street, South Co. Dublin , Blackrock, Dublin
Really good dinner here. We went for the early bird which was decent value. My partner had salmon which she was very happy with and I have a nice chicken dish. Tasty desert also and a lovely caesar salad to start. Service was very good indeed. It was a very quiet thursday evening when we were there so there wasnt really a bustling atmosphere but I could imagine there being a good atmosphere with more people there. The decor is lovely and the waiter was very good. Recommended.
Abbey Quay, Enniscorthy, Wexford
I ate here with my partner recently and we had a decent meal. on the positive side the host was very nice, and the service was pretty good. The atmosphere wasnt great though. Its a small restaurant with limited seating, and there was a large group with kids at the table beside us and with the place being so small they had taken over the place really. Its high ceilings and bright lighting take away any chance of its small size being cosy. The food was pretty good though. Decent started, lovely pasta main course of sausage and brocolli in a creamy tomatoe sauce. Wine was reasonably priced and drinkable. The banoffe tasted homemade and fresh and was very good. The value is good overall.
Monart Destination Spa and Hotel
The Still, Enniscorthy, Wexford
Pricey but very good quality. Gorgeous venue and beautiful surrounds. Excellent staff, attentive and willing. The food was top notch. Really inventive menu forced me to order new things. I had a delicous main course of sea bass which was served with a beautiful rice and lemon fusion. For desert I had a sort of deconstructed banoffe which was very nice. My partner had an excellent dessert also, a coconut and chocolate mix. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. Mains around 30 mark. Full total for two came to 160 with wine and a tip.
Peppers of Feakle
Gurrane Cross, Feakle, Clare
Highly recommended. The staff couldnt be nicer. The owner and his wife are very nice people. They collected us for free from the East Clare Golf village a few miles away and offered us a 20% discount on our meal as was advertised in our accomodation. The value was excellent. 6 of us ate 3 courses (bar maybe two not bothering with dessert), teas and a round of drinks. All for 100 euro. The food was pretty good. I had a very tasty homemade burger and general concensus was good around the table. My biscuit cake dessert was very good too. Highly recommended.
Doyle's Seafood Restaurant
5 John St, Dingle, Kerry
Really nice restaurant inside, nice interior and decor. Cosy feel to the front part of the restaurant where I sat. The food was lovely. They served some nice breads while we waited and my main course of cod was very nice indeed. It was battered but served with a delicouse drizzle of an asian soy based chilli sauce, homecooked chips. Decent dessert. Staff were friendly. No hesitation in recommending
Main Street, Dingle, Kerry
Not the best looking interior but nice food. I had the pollock and it was really good. Cooked very well. Dessert was average. the atmosphere is ok and staff are fine. Overall I would recommend on the basis of the lovely main course I had.
Shimla Indian Restaurant Thurles
Friar st, Thurles, Thurles, Tipperary
I have eaten here a few times, most recently a couple of nights ago as part of a group of five. The restaurant interior is fine, nothing special. The service is top notch. They cannot do enough for you. The food is excellent. I rate it as the best indian food I have eaten anywhere in Ireland. I had the chicken garlic bhuna on this occasion and it was delicious. Beautiful flavour and perfectly cooked soft tender chicken. The portion sizes are large, very gernerous. The staff are super friendly and helpful and we were treated to a complimentary shot each. It was a tree tier shot with tia maria and baileys and some cream I think, very nice. The wine selection is non existance but the house red was well received by the group. Value wise it is very reasonable. Dinners all round with some extra naan breads, beers (3 people had two beers) and wine (one bottle of red) and it came to 25 a head with decent tip. I would highly recommend.
Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
Went here last saturday night with my girlfriend and used the menupages €30 voucher. We ordered from the value menu which was 3 courses for 18.80 or 2 for c. €15 For starter I had the mushrooms sfuffed with cheese and they were delicous. My girlfriend had a capri salad which was spot on. For main we both had pizzas which were very good, Medium to thin base, good flavour from the tomato sauce and tasted very fresh and tasty. I had a chocolcate brownie dessert which was pretty good, smallish. But I cant complain against the portion sizes because after three courses I was just nicely full and able to enjoy all three. So each course was just right. Overall the value was excellent. The service was no nonsense, friendly and not too in your face. The restaurant itsellf is cosy and nice and its easy to chat away and enjoy an evening with just some quiet music in the background. I would recommend as a very good value spot with nice food and will definately be revisiting.
Bijou Bistro & Wine
46/47 Highfield Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin
Really enjoyed a top quality meal here having booked a table on a saturday evening. The service was excellent and our waitress was very nice, not over the top in your face but very attentive and charming. The food is top drawer and I would rank this restaurant as one of my top 3 in Dublin. I had gnocchi started that was very generous in portion size and was really excellent. Beautiful sauce. For main I had a steak which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a delicious jus. Dessert was smallish, a sticky toffee pudding but flavour wise was really good. We had two (basic) bottles of wine and the bill for the two of us was 110 so its fairly pricey but I would have to recommend it as the atmosphere is lovely and the food really is excellent.
Dolans Restaurant & Bar
Dock Road, Limerick City, Limerick
Decent pub fare. really good burger and my girlfriend has a creamy carbonara pasat style dish which she thoroughly enjoyed. Very good value too with two mains and two drinks each (wine/guinness) coming to 40 euro ish. The staff were fine too. We were there for a gig so chanced the food before hand and I would eat there again.
Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin
Went here on a Tuesday evenings with some American friends who were visiting. I would have to say that the atmosphere was excellent. Though the live music wasnt my taste it was good quality and had everyone in good spirits. The pub itself is gorgeous and old fashioned looking in a lovely location in the hills. The service was excellent. Our waitress were very nice and very attentive. She regularly checked on our drinks. The food was only ok to be honest. I had a TBone steak which was slightly overcooked from what I had asked. The accompannying veg and sauce were ok. For dessert I had bannoffe and it was quiet average, a good portion size but I have had a lot better in terms of taste. Despite the average food I really enjoyed the night thanks to the quality of service and atmosphere, THey even called around to tables well before last orders to see if we needed a taxi ordered and arranged that for us.
Cashel Co Tipperary, Cashel, Tipperary
A real treat, The food is gorgeous. I had the steak sandwich and whilst a little pricey it was delicious. The place was hopping so we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated at 3pm. Their was a small mix up with our food in that the chips arrived early and turned out not to be ours but the staff were charming and soon sorted it. I would highly recommend as a treat.
4 Kilmacud Road Lower, Stillorgan, Dublin
went there on a saturday evening with my girlfriend. the atmosphere was quiet and it was more of a family restaurant than say a place for couples. The food was average i thought. I had a pizza which was pretty good but nothing special. I had a brownie dessert which again was only ok plus the servings of icecream and chocolate sauce were both too smaill I thought. service was acceptable but the lack of atmosphere and the mediocre food mean I wont be going again.
The Chop House Gastro Pub
2 Shelbourne Road, City Centre South, Dublin
Service was friendly. Menu is limited enough but I normally dont judge a restaurant on that basis as they may be doing a set amount well. I had a ribeye steak, medium which was cooked as ordered and service on a wooden platter with some tasty homemade style chips. There was a mix up with our order in that a soup was forgotten about, other than that our host was charming and friendly even offering advice about a route to the airport. The atmosphere is lively enough with a sizeable office worker lunch crew in. A bit pricey for a lunch regular but good quality food.
Queen of Tarts
4 Cork Hill Dame Street, City Centre South, Dublin
Dropped in for tea and a cake. The atmosphere was lacking despite being busy. I felt it didnt feel that relaxing and there was no music, not that that always solves such a situation. Its very new building as well and I don't know if that added to the feel of the place, i.e. lacking character. Expensive for tea and cake but top quality stuff and generous servings. Carrot cake recommended. Staff are fine, nothing special.
Jewel in the Crown (Ballsbridge)
41-43 Shelbourne Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin
A pleasant surprise. A colleague recommended this place and I went at lunch time on new years eve on my break from work. The lunch menu was 9.95 which was extremely good value. I had very tasty onoin bhajis to start. From a main I had a chicken balti with pilau rice. The portions were very generous and the food was very tasty with the balti rich and spicy. Service was attentive and couteous. Tea was also included and an after eight was given with the bill. Overall highly recommended for a extremely good value tasty lunch option.
Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin
Really good atmosphere. A group of eight of us enjoyed a good night here. The service was slow (very busy) but friendly. The food was tasty. The chicken wings were really tasty and tangy but the blue cheese dip was a little watery I thought. For a main I had chicked fajitas which were serve on a sizzling plate. The ramicans of sour cream, salsa and guacamole were a little small especially given the genourous portion of everything elso. Really nice. Dessert was strawberries and meringue which was spot on. Overall recommended, very lively, good food and decent value. We went with the "christmas" set menu so three courses was 35 euro. One gripe is that they used to have a fabulous "sante fe chicken" pizza which seems to have dissappered from the menu.
10 Lower Kilmacud Road, SET MENU ALL NIGHT MONDAY TO FRIDAY, Stillorgan, Dublin
decent restaurant. bruschetta wasnt great to be honest. but the meatballs and chips were lovely. tender meat, delicious sauce. also excellent value two course meal including glass of wine at 15 euro.
Baileys No.42 Restaurant
Baileys Hotel Cashel, Main Street, Cashel, Tipperary
midweek this place was not manic. Service was good and the food very good. Really nice fajitas which were on the specials list. NIce guiness. Friendly staff. And a super tastly dessert. The dining room is lovely too. Wooded floor and furniture and a classy evironment. Would recommend
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin
Had heard great things about this busy spot adjacent to the Dundrum Shopping Centre and went there with high expectations. It did not dissappoint. The place was very busy and had a nice bussling atmosphere. The staff were fine, not over the top or overattentive which was to be expected given how busy the place was, The starter of doughballs was to die for. Seriously fresh and tasty doughballs served with garlic butter. Simple but delicious. Main pizza was good quality, thin base, tasty sauce. Dessert of choc fudge cake was lovely but i thought it would have been nicer heated. Overall a very good experience and I will go back.
Toscana City Centre
3 Cork Hill, Dame Street (opposite Dublin Castle), Dublin City Centre, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin
Had food from the early bird menu. 3 courses for 17.95 was excellent value. I was there with my girlfriend and we both enjoyed the food. The atmosphere is nice, beautiful room, friendly staff. For starters we had chicken wings and brushetta. The wings were dressed in a very nice sauce. Not bad. Brushetta was delicious. Came out very quickly too. Mains - we had creamy chicken pasta which was very nice and meatballs. The meatballs tasted very home made and the tomatoe sauce was very nice. Dessert was profitteroles. nice but nothing special. The staff were very attentive and we really enjoyed the place.
Caseys at the Brooklane Hotel
Brooklane Hotel, Kenmare, Kerry
Top Notch pub grub. I had a burger which was clearly homemade along with homemade onion rings and it was such a treat. It was the best burger I have eaten out. Staff are attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed and I would highly recommend it. Price was reasonable and given the quality I thought it was well worth it. THere is wifi and I was on my own so it was nice to browse web mails etc and that to pass the time.
Listowel Arms Hotel
The Square, Listowel, Listowel, Kerry
I ate an evening meal here in the bar. The food was fine. Nothing special. The staff were very friendly though. I had a steak which was overcooked a bit but tasty and complimented generously with veg and chips. I also ate a chocolate brownie dessert which was mediocre. Overall a good option but not great.
Dingle Benners Hotel
Main Street, Dingle, Dingle, Kerry
for pub grub this is very good i must say. I had a medium steak which was cooked to perfection. Generous portion with lots of veg and a great sauce. I also had the crumble dessert which was very tasty. The Barman was a gent and they also serve a good pint of guinness. Recommended
40 New Street, Killarney, Killarney, Kerry
I had a lovely meal here. I chose the 3 course set menu for 34 euros. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. Though I ate on my own as I was on business I felt comfortable. The staff are excellent - top service. While you wait they serve some homemade breads which are still warm - very nice. All three courses were top notch. I had the caesar salad to start which was delicious. I had the chicken main which was beactifully cooked. The sticky toffee pudding was very tasty too - could have used a more generous portion of icecream. I would highly recommend.
Greene's Cafe & Bistro
63 William St, Limerick City, Limerick
I recently had breakfast here on recommendation from a friend. Service was great - warm and friendly and the food was lovely. I was on business for the day in the city and I was impressed enough to go back for lunch. Staff are lovely and service is very good. Both my lunch of a club sandwich and desert of bannoffe were very tasty. The place is comfy and busy but the staff are sure too check in on you regularly. They also let me charge my laptop which was handy. Decent value and Highly recommended.
