Went there on New Years Eve and thought it was fantastic. We were there early enough so there wasn't much of an atmosphere, but the food, wine and staff all made up for it. Can't really remember what we had but I’m sure it's all fantastic. We actually enjoyed our meal so much we stayed on for a second bottle of wine.

Out of all the Eddie Rocket's, this is probably the best one. The staff are always smiling and the food is good if you're into burgers and stuff. Queues are pretty long but move quick enough.

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here but was in a hurry. Kinda in and out in the space of 30 minutes or so. Had 2 courses from the early bird menu. Thought it was lovely and can't wait to go back when I have more time. Looking forward to trying their sea food and steaks.

Mao Restaurant (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Went here a few weeks ago for dinner with my wife and thought it was gorgeous. It was last minute so we went to Dudrum because there's a good selection and we didn't know what we really wanted. We went in and even though it was packed they managed to find us a seat. We got the set menu which was 3 courses for 25 euro(I think). I got sticky prawns to start and a noodle dish for mains. My wife got pork belly. Cant remember what we got for dessert as it was a few weeks ago, but it was all gorgeous and I would highly reccomend it. Staff were friendly and very good and quick at their job.Looking forward to going back.

Milano (Clarion Quay)
Unit 6, Excise Walk, Clarion Quay, Dublin 1, City Centre, IFSC, Dublin

I have to say, the first time I went to Milano we didn't enjoy our experence. It was in Dundrum and it was only open so I forgive them. Since then I've been back to a few different ones and all I can say is I love the place. If you're out and about in town and fancy a pizza and a nice glass of wine, Malino is the place to go. I love it!!

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Came here for dinner with my wife and really enjoyed it. To start we had Baby Lasagne and Baked Garlic Mushrooms, both gorgeous. For mains we both had pizza, the Sicilian(gorgeous) and the Americana. Both pizzas were lovely and probably the best pizza I ever had. Staff were great and the restaurant is lovely. I will for sure be going back.

Lemongrass (Liffey Valley)
Arc Bar, Liffey Valley Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Went for lunch with my wife and kids. I thought it was a bit expensive for what we got. The kids meals were a tenner each. I also thought the service very slow, don't know why as the place was almost empty. Other than that I thought the food was lovely and the kids enjoyed it too.

Bobo's Gourmet Burgers (Wexford St)
22 Wexford Street (Beside Whelans), Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here with my brother and son. The 3 of us really enjoyed ourselves. I had the spicy sausage burger and my bro had the one with the chilli on it. Both were gorgeous, my son had a plain kids burger and he also enjoyed it. Also had the chocolate biscuit cake with ice-cream. Will be going back for sure. PS Staff were also great

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)
Unit 40B, Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Wasn't too impressed with this burger joint. The burger was nice but no nicer than a fast food restaurant. Didn't find the staff too friendly and the service was slow. They also got the order wrong. Maybe I just went at the wrong time. They were only open a week or so. Maybe I'll go back and give it another go just to make sure.

Jaipur Restaurant (George's Street)
41 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

I was here a couple of days before Christmas with my wife and was really impressed. It was the first Indian restaurant I've ever been to and picked this one because of what I've heard about it and wanted to get it right. The staff were very nice and the food was fab. Can't remember what we had now but we both had two courses and a few bottles of Indain beer(for a change) and we tottaly enjoyed the whole experience. Really look forward to going back. Don't think I'd even trying another Indian restaurant

L'Gueuleton
No 1 Fade Street, Off Georges's Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I have to say even though I've only been here twice it's one of my top 5 favorite restaurants to eat in. I love everything about, service, food, decor and everything else. Can't wait to go back, and it won't be long till I do. I recommend the pork belly, it's delious!!

Jo'Burger
137 Rathmines Road, Dublin 6 , South Dublin, Rathmines, Dublin

I've never known a burger joint to be talked about so much. Couldn't wait to go. To rate the place on it's burgers alone it would be a straight 5 stars. The bush fries and homemade ketchup were a perfect finish. However...the noise level was a bit much for me. Unable to really chat easily (maybe that's just my age showing). I wasn't mad about the cramped surroundings and the 'menus in comic-books' thing just felt like they were trying a little too hard. Still, for the food alone I'll be back (possibly just to eat and run though).

Fallon and Byrne
11-17 Exchequer Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Went here on Thursday for a quiet meal with my wife. Things got off to a rocky start when we were seated for ten minutes before we decided to just ask for a menu. The food was faultless though. I started with the oysters but ended up splitting half way through with my wife who had ordered the salmon. It was perfectly cooked and delicious. Mains were the rabbit and the pork belly. I was delighted to see the lemon cheesecake on the dessert menu as it's a favourite of mine. Unfortunately it was a little underwhelming. Too sweet for my liking. Mrs Jase had the brownie which she was equally unimpressed with. The restaurant itself is bright, spacious and refreshin. Staff were friendly and efficient and the overall experience was very satisfying. I'll be paying another visit as soon as!

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Fantastic!!!! This place is fantastic. To me, this would be in my top 3 favourite restaurants in Dublin. The first thing you see when you get in is a wall full of different plates which is just wonderful art. The food and wine was fab. I had the white bait to start and the steak for my main. The fish was to die for and one of the nicest steaks I've had. My wife had the mussels and The lamb(I think) and she loved them too. I think the wine we had was called "Bosco del Merlo". It's a white and was gorgeous. The staff are really nice, the place is gorgeous and it's good value for money. I will definitely be going back.

Tree Top
Over Laurels Pub, Main Street, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

Don't like the atmosphere in the Tree Top. Staff seem to be rushed but not actually getting any food out. What finally arrives is never impressive. In saying that I've been more than once. It's local, comfortable and the most central place in Clondalkin to get European food.

The Duke
Duke Street, City Centre South, Dublin

The Duke does well for what it is. Above average pub grub. Enjoyable but not spectacular

Eddie Rockets (Dame Street)
Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I was here today and what can I say? It's excatly the same as the one in Tallaght. But hey, it's great and way better than all those other American style places.

The Laurels (Clondalkin)
Main Street, Clondalkin, Dublin

I really like the food in this place. Always enjoyed what I've ordered. They also do a nice pint and staff are really friendly.

The Brasserie @ Newlands Cross
Bewleys Hotel Newlands Cross, Clondalkin, Dublin

I've never been here for dinner but I've been here for breakfast and it's the best breakfast in Clondalkin by far. I really like the tea, wish I could make tea like that at home. It's a bit pricey and you have go up and get it yourself. Never stopped going back though.

Victoria Chinese Restaurant & Take Away
4 Main Street, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, Clondalkin, Dublin

Haven't been here in a while. Just found it while I was browsing this site. Was here a few times with my wife alone and it's a nice place to relax with a bit of food and drink. Staff are nice and the food is great. Think I'll have to go back some time now that I came across it here.

The Waterside Bar & Bistro
Ninth Lock, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

I love this place for food. I go here a fair bit. It's just a pub but their food is great. It's great for bringing the kids too. Was just there today for dinner.

Brannigans Dundrum
Dundrum Town Centre Dundrum, Dundrum, Dublin

Just your average Grill. Had a nice Fillet Steak but I’ve had nicer ones. Staff were nice and friendly. Should try it if it's your type of food.

profile_review

Quinlans - The Black Lion
Orchard LaneClondalkin, Clondalkin, Dublin

I don’t like this place at all. It's dirty and hasn't been cleaned since the smoking ban came in. The staff are all sour except for one bar man. The only good thing I can say about it is that they do a nice pint and it's cheaper than a lot of pubs. The food is only okay too.

profile_review

Pattaya Thai and Chinese Restaurant
9th Lock Road, Nangor Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

I love this restaurant!!! I go there a couple a times a month and haven't a bad thing to say about it. Food is gorgeous, staff are great, plenty of space, comfortable. You won't be let down. If I’m with my wife we eat off the normal menu, but if I’m with Asian friend I let him order off the Asian menu and we all dig in. So if you like a bit of everything, you should what's nice on the Asian menu and ask for what you think sounds nice.

Eddie Rockets (Tallaght)
The Square, Shopping Centre Tallaght, West Dublin, Tallaght, Dublin

What can I say? I go her a fair bit because I like the place. Tastes like every other Eddie Rockets. Cool place though, you should try it if never been.

profile_review

Charlies Four
8 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I kind of only go there after being on a night out, but it's good fast food and it's cheap enough because you can sit in too.

profile_review

Johnnie Fox's Pub
Glencullen, Dublin Mountains, Glencullen, Dublin

Well what can I say other than FANTASTIC?! Was up there a couple of weekends ago and really enjoyed every bit. Even the drive up is lovely. I had a seafood vol au vont but it was huge in the shape of a fish. The staff were great, and if it's a nice day you can sit outside. Another thing, everybody is in great form because there's a lot of tourists so they'd be in holiday. Food was a bit pricey, but then again, seafood is.

Milano (Dundrum)
Dundrum Shopping Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

I love the Milano chain and visit them all the time but came to this one and will never go back to it again. We were there over an hour and still hadn't been served our mains. We got no apology from anybody and were treated very badly.

profile_review

Pearl Orient Fusion
6-8 Dutch Village Shopping Centre, Clondalkin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Been to the Pearl Orient a couple of times and am in no rush to go back. The place is quiet and the food nothing special, although the service was good both times.

profile_review

Little Caesars of Rathfarnham
Rathfarnham Orchard, Butterfield Ave, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin

While the food in Little Caesar's is pretty standard, they don't charge a lot for it and the friendly staff and lively atmosphere are still worth going for. A lovely relaxing night out.

profile_review

Captain America's Cookhouse And Bar
44 Grafton Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I've never had such a stressful dining experience. Way too noisy and the food nothing to write home about.

profile_review

Trocadero
St Andrew Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

This would have to be our favourite restaurant. Love the food, the staff are fantastic and the atmosphere always buzzing. We've brought the kids during the day and had valentine's night there and been with a crowd of friends. No matter what the occasion the Troc is always a good choice.

profile_review

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

We've only had the lunch menu here but can't fault it. Food is excellent, and staff extremely accommodating. The only problem I'd have is with the slightly cramped conditions. Will be booking a table some evening soon though! Have been back here for dinner with my wife and found it to be a fantastic evening. Food and wine was great. Staff was brilliant. Only compliant is that they charge 10% service charge, so they're losing points on value for that.

profile_review

Joels Restaurant
Newlands Cross, Naas Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

This restaurant isn't too bad. The food is nice and the service is okay but I wouldn’t really call it a place I'd go "out" for dinner. One thing I'd point out about this place is that you can't book a table so if it's a busy night you could be waiting a couple of hours.
