Bought the deal for myself and 5 friends. Went at 7pm on Friday (note deal is not worth it if you are going before 7pm as the same offer is €13.99 at the door). Food was fantastic, served very promptly with great portion sizes and flavour. That I'm afraid is where the compliments end. The service was terrible - we were asked to leave table by 9.30pm but waited almost 30 mins between each course - we left on time because we couldn't get any service, drinks etc. Felt like we were an inconvenience, maybe because we bought the deal however nobody was servicing the front of the restaurant and other complained and left also. In addition to this, crowds of people came in on a regular basis to get a table. They stand in the middle of the floor which is directly over your table, often holding the door open. The worst part is no one came to greet these people for ages so some of them stood there for up to 20 mins (wouldn't be me...) only to be told there were no tables and so left. Such a shame the service and management of poeple was so poor as the food was very good - not one complaint. We could of spent so much more on the cocktails had someone come to serve us but we ended up drinking the water jug dry before looking for someone. We wouldn't go back based on our experience.

China House (Lucan)
7 & 8 Finnstown Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

just ordered a takeaway based on reviews on this website. can honestly say its the worst i've ever had - so much so i have binned it. i asked for fried rice with extra egg - it arrived whiter than plain rice with a few scraps of egg in the corner of the tray. the salt & pepper chicken wings although tasted average, must of come from a sparrow they were so small. curry sauce was bland - chicken balls were so hard the shell/batter cracked open to expose dry chicken.
