Yum yum! can't fault this place. Fast service, always good quality food. Can be enjoyed by all ages and great for a family outing. Tables are shared benches which adds to the cool casual atmosphere. I am a fan of their Ramen soups.

Milano (Dawson Street)
38 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

No surprises here. You always get roughly the same. Pizzas are nice and the wine list is reasonably priced. I got the spicey pizza with jalapenos and it could have been a bit spicyer but other than that its a safe bet if you're in town looking for a bite to eat! They are very accomodating to children and cater for them too

Lemon (Dawson St)
60 Dawson St, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Deceptively filling pancakes. Good range of choices for what you want in them, both savoury and sweet. Lemon and sugar is a good safe bet and chicken and cheese is nice if you want to fill up. A bit pricey but nice for a change

Pasta Fresca
2-4 Chatham Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Was dissapointed. Food is nice but not amazing. Prices are high. Service is mediocre. Maybe I happened to go on a bad night but won't be in a hurry back.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK South Anne Street)
5 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

In my opinion the best gourmet burger place in town. Their chicken is breaded which is quite unusual and is always juicy and cooked to perfection. Some burger places have the tendency to overcook their chicken which ruins the whole experience. Prices are average for what you're getting. Ingredients taste lovely and fresh and there is a HUGE variety of burgers available. Would recommend the cranberry and camembert one with chicken- delicious!

Market Lane
5/6 Oliver Plunkett Street, Cork City, Cork

Came here and availed of their ten euro lunch deal. I had the chicken and tomato soup with a cheese and chutney sandwich. Both were delicious as was the side salad that came with it. For dessert they offered tea and a little chocolate pot which was to die for. The offer includes a 'half sandwich' which at first may sound small but I was completely full by the time I finished. Staff were really friendly and very professional. Will be back

Cafe Gusto
3 Washington Street, Cork City, Cork

Really lovely little restaurant. All the seat are highstools which at first kind of put me off but then when i got used to it they seem to make the place! All the food is lovely. A selection of cold tapas for one euro each is great value. We were even given two smaller ones for 50cent each. You can bring your own wine and they only charge 4euro to cork it. Had panacotta for dessert which was devine and presented really well. Staff were very attentive without being over bearing. Will definitely be back and would recommend to all- they have something for everyone in this place!

The Goblet

Great pub grub! Lovely pints. If you're in Artane and wan't something to eat this is the place to go!

Il Corvo Restaurant
98-100 Upper Drumcondra Road, Dublin 9 , Drumcondra, Dublin

Would not really recommend this place. Prices are a bit high for Italian food. Service isn't great either. Felt a bit dissapointed overall. Won't be going back.

Cafe en Seine
39 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

This is definitely one of the nicest bars in dublin. The interior is beautiful and even when it's not too full there is still a nice atmosphere. Cocktails are 5 euro on weekdays and they have a great selection. Their chunky chips are also to die for. Hand cut with lots of rock salt and they bring little dips for them. Will be going back!

Mexico to Rome
23 East Essex Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Came here for the lunch time deal. Had bruchetta to start with and chicken burrito for main. Both were very nice. Portion of bruschetta was slightly small but that's to be expected for the great value deal. Soft drink or glass of wine is included which is generous. Not michelin star food but came out full and satisfied and didn't feel ripped off! Would definitely recommend!

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Bit pricey. Great atmosphere and lovely food. Lots of different asian flavours without the stogyness often associated with that type of cuisine. Everything tasted fresh and a great time was had by all. Would recommend any of the curries and the phad thai noodles are delicious!

Geoffs Cafe Bar
8/9 Johns Street , Please call us directly for Bookings 051-874787, Waterford City, Waterford

Great atmosphere here. The dessert selection is wonderful and the wines are well priced. I had the chicken in white wine sauce with pasta. The taste was lovely but my only complaint would be the quality of the chicken. I think it could be improved. They do very nice paninis too. Great place for a bite to eat!

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Came here with a few friends and was not disappointed. Steaks were cooked to perfection and really really tasty. Service was great. We all had the calamare to start. Initially we thought the portions were quite small but when it came to the main we were glad we weren't too full! Lovely veg came with the steak that was full of flavour. Nice affordable wine list. Desserts were so-so however the brilliance of the steaks overshadowed this! All in all a great night and will definitely be back!

Carluccio's Caffe
52 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

The set menu for around 15 euro is a good option. You can add a glass of wine for a bit extra and they give you a very full glass! Their garlic bread can be a bit salty and their portions a bit on the small side but overall its a good place to eat in town and the atmosphere is lovely. They also cater gluten free pasta for caoeliacs.

The Port House Ibericos
5/6 Pembroke Cottage, Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Had to wait AGES for a table! They don't take bookings which i think works against them rather than in their favour. Staff were very apologetic nevertheless. Food was pretty much the same as in the South William st one. My complaints would be the tortilla which was a bit bland and the gambas rebozadas (deep fried praws) as the batter tasted sweet and looked a bit iffy. Would question what other things they had cooked in the same oil

The Counter Dundrum
Pembroke District, (adjacent to the Mill Pond at Town Square), Dundrum, Dublin

Very american. You write down your order on a piece of paper and tick various boxes to indicate what you want. Its a nice gimmic! Good spot to go with a family. Their burgers are lovely as are their chicken wings. They have a wide range of salads and sauces to put on the burgers

Saba To Go
13 Rathgar Road, Rathmines, Dublin

This is one of my favourite places to order from when having a night in. Their prices are reasonable and ingredients taste lovely and fresh. As far as i know they don't use MSG. I would recommend their pad thai.

ITSA @ Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols, Dundrum Town Centre, Sandyford Road, Dundrum, Dublin

The atmosphere here is a bit dull and its quite informal. The food is nice though. Very much a soup and sandwich kind of place. Don't expect more.

Cortina’s Mexican Restaurant
The Pembroke District, Dundrum Town Centre, South Dublin, Dundrum, Dublin

Great atmosphere and decor but unfortunately the food doesn't live up to it. Came here when it first opened and it was top quality but after returning a few months later I've found that they've dropped their standards but kept their prices! The tortillas that came with my fajitas were stale and there were only three as suppossed to four before. Portion sizes were much smaller and rice seemed reheated. Staff are very friendly but I think they need to step things up in the kitchen if they're going to charge what they're charging!

Bianconis Bistro
232 Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

Great service, great atmosphere, lovely choice of desserts. They will pack up your pizza to take away if you're not finished which is very nice. Top standard food. A great little place to have in this part of dublin!

Mao Restaurant (Dundrum)
Dundrum Town Centre, Dublin 14, Dundrum, Dublin

Mao offers a 'healthy' take on asian cuisine. Ingredients are noticeably fresh. Main courses on their own can be on the more expensive side of things but they do a very reasonable set menu. If you're on a budget their signature Ramen dish is only 9.95. If you like asian food you can't go wrong with Mao

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Everytime I go to this restaurant it is a complete success. The chicken wings are one of the best in the city. Their crab meat and lemongrass soup was recommended to me by a member of staff and it is delicious. Both the chicken wings and the lemon grass soup make for great starters. After that I would definitely recommend the burgers. Portions are very generous and there is a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Ten out of ten.

TriBeCa
65 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

There is something for everyone here. Wide range of cuisines in the lovely village of Ranelagh. Great if you want top quality food without having to go into the city centre. Don't leave without trying the chicken wings. Open at lunch time too with great offers. One complaint would be that it is a bit cramped at peak times.

The Steps Of Rome
1 Bird avenue, Clonskeagh, Clonskeagh, Dublin

Best slices of pizza in town. The rectangular shaped slices are nice for the novelty factor. A little cramped but it's worth it. Really cosy atmosphere. You can get the slices to take away if you wish

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

chicken wings are second to none. they have their own 'luigi malone's wine' that the make themselves. it's reasonably priced and very tasty. on certain week nights wine is at a discounted price. very broad menu so something for everyone. i had a burger and it was delicious.

Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

Will come to this place time and time again. Had a burger and it was top quality. Cocktails are very good too. Wine is quite expensive but the main courses are reasonable so it works out ok. They have changed the menu recently but it's for the better. Desserts are fabulous if you have a sweet tooth. Had the chocolate brownie with ice cream and it was delicious.

Yamamori Noodles
71-72 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great modern atmosphere and cool decor. Extensive menu even for those who are not avid fans of Japanese cuisine. Would recommend any of the Ramen soups. Their Japanese twist on cocktails are worth a look too. On weekdays these can be as cheap as 5 euro.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Staff very friendly and welcoming and not overly formal so made us feel relaxed. Food was brought out quickly and cooked perfectly. We both had the chicken. Portion sizes are good. It's a bit expensive but totally worth it if you enjoy brasserie style cuisine.

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Had the lunch deal of 2 tapas and a glass of wine. Had prawn cocktail which was just mayonnaise with very few prawns in it and only a few slices of avocado. Paella was nice enough but nothing out of the ordinary. The atmosphere is nice and very classy but that might only serve to distract customers of the sub par food. Would consider going somewhere else next time.

The Port House
64a South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great tapas. Atmosphere is very nice and romantic due to all the candles. Food is served promptly. Portions are reasonable as each tapa is quite cheap. Great selection of wines. Will definitely be back.
