I can’t rate this place more highly for food, price and service. My favorite dish is the Chicken Katsu Curry; its amazing, or Steak Teriyaki. The service is quick and the staff polite and the food is always hot as it’s served as it’s cooked. If you’re at a table of more than 2 though, please be aware, they serve as soon as the food is cooked so some may get fed before others; this is good though as it means you always have hot food. The layout is a little strange, with tables and benches, it works though and the place gets a lot of custom. They don’t take bookings in here, so it’s a show up and hope you get seated, but even if there is a queue, you will be seated pretty quickly. Top marks from me.

Blue Cafe Bar
Harbour Road Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

I ate here with my Fiance on Sunday gone (13th July), the food was amazing and the service was very quick and also friendly. Its my first time in Blue and my experience was very positive. The place is bright and very very clean. The food, well i ordered the cod on a bed of mash with prawns, and i nearly licked the plate clean, my fiance ordered prawns on a bed of salad with side of mary rose sauce, amazing, but they do come out heads and all on, so you do get bit messy pulling prawns apart, but funny and its worth it too. Overall will deffo eat here again.

Elephant & Castle
18/19 Temple Bar, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

I like this place, it's more casual than anything, however I don't mind that, in fact sometimes it's nice to eat casually. The chicken wings are no.1 for me, I usually go for the likes of that in places I eat and they were lovely. The burger was very nice and perfectly done. I would definitely recommend this place.

Harrys Kitchen Restaurant
22, Dawson Street, Dublin

Went here for a late lunch with work friends one week. The place was very busy but it was nice to be kept going, the staff were lovely and friendly. The lunch menu had alot on it and there was alot to choose from, alot of dinner stuff also, but you have a large choice and the food is very tasty.

The Summit Inn
Howth Summit, Howth, Dublin

Came here on a Sunday after walking Howth summit, the place has a fantastic view, and while it was cold, we decided to sit outside to capture the view, as it was sunny. We both had sandwiches only here but they came with a lovely side salad, plus crisps on the side, it was worth the value and the service was very good, will go again.

Wrights Findlater Howth Restaurant
Findlater House, North Co. Dublin, Howth, Dublin

I went with my boyfriend and his family and thought the food was lovely. The service was average, not bad, but it was a busy Sunday. I had fish and chips for main course and they were amazing, I couldn’t finish the fish, but it was very fresh. My boyfriend had spring rolls for starter and fish and chips for main course also, he said both were lovely too. It was very busy, as it was Sunday afternoon, would love to go back here again.

Eddie Rockets (Liffey Valley)
Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

I went here a couple of weeks ago and got the cheeseburger it was very nice, really enjoyed it- price wise little expensive, but worth it. My boyfriend had the nachos and loved them. Depending on where you are sitting it can depend on if you enjoy yourself, just make sure you're not near the door area as it can be quite cold, but they did move us when we asked, so that is a thumbs up. Definitely will go hear again.

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

I had the baked garlic mushrooms and they were amazing, my boyfriend had the tiger prawns and said they were very nice. The starter portions felt good size. There is a large selection of pizzas to choose from and alot of ingredients to have on top,yum yum. I have eaten here a few times and will come back, and would also recommend it to others.

Carlo's Restaurant
63-64 O'Connell Street, Dublin 1, City Centre North, Dublin

I like this restaurant. the food is very nice and very good value for money compared to other restaurants in around this area, the early bird is excellent, and this place has been recently refurbished and the decor is really nice. i found the staff to be very friendly. I would highly recommend.

F.X. BUCKLEY Steakhouse Crow Street
2 Crow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I've eaten steak in many a restaurant, and my god, this place is top of my list. I got a steak medium and hey presto!!! it came out medium, I also got mash with this and it was perfect, no lumps or bumps. The staff were very friendly and I had a lovely bottle of house white, fantastic is the price, 20 euro for the early bird menu. And the desserts, well I got a starter, but my partner's dessert tasted (yep I had a taste) amazing. Would recommend any day. Fantastic place.

Cucina

Renards Sports & Lounge Bar
35-37 South Frederick Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Fab, Fab, Fab, ate here a few times, and while its a sports bar the place is lovely and modern and very clean. The staff were very friendly, plus, the food, well, it was so tasty and also price is good. I would recommend this place without a doubt. In fact I've not been here since late last year and might head again soon.

Jazz Chinese Restaurant
Beech Park Avenue, Coolock Village Shopping Centre, Dublin 5, Coolock, Dublin

Take away review: This place is amazing, i love the food from it, i have had curry, noodles, chicken in black bean, (3 in 1 on days not much money) and every time i've from here i've been impressed. Love it.

The Bloody Stream Restaurant
Under Howth Dart Station, North Dublin, Howth, Dublin

I ate here once and never again, the food was something worse than a roadside cafe. The chips we got were vile, well maybe that’s an over exaggeration, but they were not nice at all, soft and floppy. I had fish and it was not fresh whatsoever, for being right on the "fish" front this was a disaster. Personally the place is far too small and cramped too, and the layout is not nice.

The Steps Of Rome
1 Bird avenue, Clonskeagh, Clonskeagh, Dublin

This is a good place to get a take away pizza, or even just to go in casual with a friend on the way to the pub, but if you want space you wont get it here. It is very small.

Casa Pasta (Clontarf)
55 Clontarf Road, Dublin 3, Clontarf, Dublin

Ok this restaurant is lovely place to eat, the food is very tasty, but the area is quite small. It does feel a little cramped, but the service was very good, the food very tasty, plus its great location if you want to go for a nice stole (weather permitting) after.

Gotham Cafe
8 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Been here a few times, and the pizza is amazing. Its very thin base and ever so fresh. the place is very light and airy, but the seats feel quiet close together. I would deffinitely go here again, the service was very quick also, and their wine menu was lovely.

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Been here twice before, first time it was quiet nice, but a little rushed, the second time it was not great, but the food was ok both times. The place is very busy and quiet a lively place, I think after being to America just gone though it would make me realise how the food was not as it should in TGI's when I went. But if I wanted to eat "bold" food, I’d go here and just enjoy, it is nice, just not amazing for the price.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

I've eaten here once before only and I find it nice, the food is unusual compared to that of every day menus, but you have a fair enough choice of food. We didn’t get that big of a starter, but I like that, I don’t like to eat too much before the main meal. I had steak with prawns and it was lovely, the steak cooked as I asked, I would have liked more prawns though. The layout looks a bit busy, but it’s got enough space, plus if you’re by the window it’s nice and bright. I would recommend Tante Zoes without a doubt.

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

We've been here a few times, and we usually always get the nachos for starter, but between us as the helping in plentiful and the cheese has a happy place on the plate. The bugers are really nice, but i've had nicer in a few other places, the place is bright and usually very busy, and the staff were very friendly and helped us whenever we asked for anythign (salt etc) would definietly eat here again, but I'd recommend it if you're after a casual dinner after a long shop.

Sinnotts
South King Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Ok, now Sinnots for lunch is a must. I go here every single Friday. I've had a few different meals, fish and chips, curry and fish, but mostly we go simply for a bowl of soup and bread. You get a large bowl of piping hot soup, brown bread plus a small white roll, with 2 real butters and a glass of water, all for the cost of €4.00. I would highly recommend, only downside is lack of table/sit down space, due to the bar being so big, but definitely worth the visit.

Doheny and Nesbitt
5 Baggot Street Lower, Baggot Street, Dublin

Ok I cannot rate this place high enough if you're looking for a fab lunch. What to eat what to eat...... I've had the bbq chicken panini, I've had the steak, I've had the lasagne, I've had baked potato (huge) I've had open chicken sandwich and soup also. All I can say is, price is fantastic, food is excellent... and the staff are very quick with service.

Giovanni’s Pizzeria Restaurant
3-4 Townyard Lane, Malahide, Dublin

Ok, now this is a place i've eaten in on many occasion, its in the heart of malahide, and the smell of food in Malahide village alone is enough to make you want to eat in Malahide. This place is fairly small, and tables are a little crammed, however we've never eaten anything we didnt like in the place. The food has always been very nice and the service has always been very good. Their pizzas are amazing, plus their fish is also really nice. The owner tends to be der most of the time, and its fantastic to go to an Italian and see proper Italian chefs and staff working. It is however, more of a casual eating spot that somewere to go for a romantic meal or posh eat out. however we have had 1 romantic meal der, but that i suppose is what you make of it. The price was very reasonable and the owner asked us a few times if we were ok and if our food was ok. And our water was always topped up or replaced.

Casa Pasta (Howth)
12 Harbour Road, Howth, Dublin

I have eaten here on a number of occasions, last time was for my mothers (mothers day), it was very busy and had alot of children in the place (but what place doesnt on mothers day) - the food was very nice, and the staff were just ok, the girl serving us should have gone to learn some manners, but the food was very nice, and the price was fine. I would eat here again, its more a casual eating, than a place you'd have a romantic meal at. But it is worth a visit.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Ok went here again about 2 weeks ago. There was 12 of us altogether as we were celebrating our engagement with both familys. I requsted a table downstairs as its nicer i feel. We were greated really nicely on entering, even though we arrived at 6.30pm and our table was not ment to be until 7pm they still had our table ready and allowed us to sit down until everyone arrived. we were told when we booked that we needed to leave the table at 9.15pm, and that was plenty of time. The food was amazing, chicken wings for starter, fillet steak for main (which was amazing) with the potatoe grattan (WOW, YUMMY) and i had toblerone and i think it was butterscotch cheese cake, but it was the nicest desert i've ever had. The only problem i had was because we were due to leave at 9.15pm the waitress was very quick to try and push us to order and she seemed very bossy as to how quickly we did it. Plus we either all had to go for the set menu or we all had to pick from the overall menu, there was no splitting this amongst the table. The other thing is they got 2 orders wrong one for starters and one for desert but they replaced and resolved that extremely quickly, plus the palce was hopping busy so i can understand a few errors. Everyone really enjoyed the meal and everything was eaten completely. I had a fantastic nite and plan to go again either this weekend or next. Would highly recommend.

Siam Thai (Malahide)
1 The Green, North Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

I've eaten in Siam Thai 3 times now, and each time I leave extremely happy with everything. The food is amazing, the service is near next to perfect and the atmosphere plus the decor is great. The manager is very nice as when I was there for Valentines Night, I ordered something I'd never had before, but when it arrived I was not too fond of it. However, it was fine, there was nothing wrong with the food, I asked the waiter if I could change it for something different and I was happy to pay for it, as it was not their error, but my taste. Anyway, long story short, they didn't charge me and the manager came over at the end of the night to make sure myself and boyfriend enjoyed the rest of the meal. Plus we got a complimentary drink at the end. Overall I'd give this restaurant 5/5.
