Had lunch in here having been very impressed with the food when I was there for dinner. Food was excellent as usual. I had the sausages and was very tasty beef sausies with some great beef. Everyone seemed to be going for the argentinian chicken curry so I think i will plump for this next time Price is 13 for 2 courses which is higher than advertised here and menu slightly changed

Ate lunch here on Saturday afternoon. I have to say I really enjoyed it. I had the 25 euro menu and my partner had the vegetarian version. I have the pork belly and the beef for mains. Great flavours in both My girlfriends meal was disappointing to say the least very little substance to it or indeed flavour Both the desserts were amazing tho in fairness

Brunel Restaurant
Tinakilly Country House Hotel & Restaurant, Rathnew, Rathnew, Wicklow

Absolutely dreadful. Two for the price of one and I still felt robbed with the quality of food, food portion sizes and the level of service. Steer well clear Nice hotel though

Kytelers Inn
Kieran Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny

Had the steak sandwich here. It was better than your average steak sambo so wasnt too unhappy. The lack of an all day brekkie surprised me as breakfast was the reason for our visit They have so many staff working they manage get in each others way without offering a great service

profile_review

El Bahia Moroccan Restaurant
37 Wicklow Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Food overall was pretty good. Starters (prawns and potato cakes) were both excellent. Flavours in the tagines were very tasty. The fish was a bit gritty but the lamb was divine Tried a bottle of the Morrocan wine which a very nice surprse. Service was excellent. However the heater that was on was definitely not needed on a miserable humid June evening

profile_review

Rolys Bistro
7 Ballsbridge Terrace, Dublin, Ballsbridge, Dublin

JD's Steakhouse
4 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin

Sunday evening dinner here. Have to say the food was pretty good. The steak was top quality. Only complaint would be that the hot fish platter lacked some tartare or sauce of any kind Very good desserts also it must be added

profile_review

Brunos
Eustace Street, Temple Bar, Dublin

One of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Sirloin ordered medium rara came out burnt to a crisp. Sea Chowder portion was tiny but OK.Only tiny good thing was the peppercorn sauce Absolutely dreadful

profile_review

Indian Ocean Dublin
15 Montague Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Food was average indian fare. Nothing spectacular but nice enough all the same. It really doesnt inspire me to write much more The real surprise came with the bill and the €8.50 price tag on the beers

Taste of Brazil
32 Parliament St, Temple bar, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

Went here for a second time and wasnt as impressed as the first time. Found the food a little bit less tasty this time and the garlic steak meant I couldnt go near anyone for the rest of the day!!

Juice Vegetarian Restaurant
9 Castle House, South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here as non vegetarian at the weekend. I had the sushi like dish which I wasnt mad about but thought my partners Goats cheese starters was very tasty. The bean casserole more than made up for it. Would eat here again

Messrs Maguire
O'Connell Bridge, Burgh Quay, City Centre South, Dublin

Had a quick dinner in here a couple of days ago before the theatre and it wasnt great to be honest. The chowder was the highlight despite a layer of been sitting there ages on top. The brie was robbery at 7 euro for two tiny pieces Had a messy burger which was a burger, nothing special

profile_review

Citi Bar
46-49 Dame Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here using a dealrush voucher. The voucher itself wasnt great value at the full price suggested that the large tapas size would be supplied but in fact the smaller size was supplied. The food was Ok at best. the really loud annoying people in the bar was another let down Service however was excellent

Dreadful experience all round. Left waiting while they couldnt find our booking. Dishes not arriving at the table and still been charged Disgraceful piece of "steak" for 26 euros!! Novo
Harry Street, St Stephens Green, Dublin

Ate here on saturday afternoon using the menupages deal. Food was great. Was absolutely stuffed at the end. The dessert was simply amazing. Best chocolate brownie I have ever had The waiter forgot our dessert but he was so apologetic and took 2 courses off our bill which was overly apologetic given we were using a voucher

Port House Pintxo

This place is amazing. Great food at simply amazing prices. Love to eat here and at its sister restaurant, the port house Great house Rioja although a little expensive given it is a cask wine. The bottles of wine are very expensive

profile_review

Pattaya Thai and Chinese Restaurant
9th Lock Road, Nangor Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Very extensive menu but food is lacking a bit of a kick that you would like from a Chinese retaurant The 3 course menu is great value

profile_review

Jaipur Restaurant (Dalkey)
21 Castle Street, South Co. Dublin, Dalkey, Dublin

Ate here after having eating in the town version many times. I actually think the food quality was even better than city centre one wich is already superb. Early bird menu, one vegie and one meaty. Meaty had a piece of fish on it which was great. Nostalgically i remember there been a fish platter in the city centre one as an option for starters. 2 fish curries where both amazing. Goan great and a coconut based prawn dish also superb

profile_review

Buenos Aires Grill
Unit 2 Castle Way, Golden Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

We both had the empanadas(1 veggie and 1 meat) for starters which were pretty good Then we had main, i went for the 10 oz fillet which was cooked very well. Nicel medium rare. Great flavoured veg accompanied that My girlfriend had the "Halloumi Cheese, Aubergine, Red Pepper & Red Onion Bruschetta" Turns out the bruschetta is a mistranslatin and she got a kebab. We question this and was explained by pleasant staff. Just as we were finishing our mains. Out was brought a bruschetta. This was a gret dish and i think if the sized it down would be an amazing starter as the topping on the bruschetta was perfectly seasoned. As a result no room for dessert. Pretty good and reasonably priced bottle of Malbec too Only complaint would be lack on lock on bathroom door

profile_review

The Exchequer
3-5 Exchequer Street, City Centre South, Dublin

This place has a great atmosphere. It is a cool place to hang out and eat with no rush will enjoying some of their great wines. Had the seafood chowder which I would count as my second fav in Dublin. Also had the chicken and bacon stuffed with black pudding. I dont normally order "in my opinion boring" chicken dishes but the pudding dragged me in and I wasnt disappointed All in all a good spot

profile_review

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

Awful!! Very expensive there are much better restaurants in Dublin We had nachos and chicken wings for starters and wasquite pleased with these. Main we both had fajitas which we thought were awful and not as good as would be had at home(At least I wasnt cooking!!!) Desserts were good but we were charged for these extra outside the late bird menu. Said nothing as had been waiting 15 minutes for the bill and had someone waiting for us. It just ate up the tip we were giving that probably wasnt deserved Needless to say we will not be returning

Fagans
Drumcondra, Drumcondra, Dublin

Had dinner here on Saturday. Menu is a bit all over the place with no real theme. Parts look like a chinese restaurant and there is a tikka masala. Really wierd. Anyone I had the vol au vonts which were not great. The sauce was lacking a real creamy texture. then i had the chow mein which was to be honest much better. Portions were huge so was not disappointed when they had no desserts left ut some of part were. Suppose it was good to have access to a decent pint of black
