had an excellent meal in the pins bar. when we were there there was choice of a set menu. myself and my boyfriend both had chowder which was great lots of fish nice taste. only complaint was it could be a bit warmer but it was bearable. For mains i had salmon and my partner had sea trout both of which were delicious with huge portions and the Veg was really fresh cooked just right. The best part of our meal was definately the chocolate brownie with icecream... best i'Ve eVer had. also had a baileys coffee whch was nice. waiter was attentiVe and not pushy.. lots of families in nice cosy atmosphere..

Booked this restaurant for a birthday meal. My initial impression of the restaurant wasn't great as it was very quiet, never a good sign. They didn't have our table ready either but the waiter did get it ready for us in a matter of minutes. The waiter was very accomodating and had a great sense of humour, service was very attentive. The food was very good also, I had chicken stirfry, very tasty and large portion. Didn't enjoy the brownie i ordered but the other deserts were lovely, especially the vanilla cheescake. the waiter brought out the dessert with candles even though not specifically requested and also brought over a sambuca shot on the house after the meal, overall was very happy with the meal for the price, would eat here again

Visited this restaurant and sampled the set menu, 3 course for 22 euro. The choice for a set menu was excellent. All 3 courses were amazing. Lovely atmosphere and live music. Would highly reccomend this restaurant

Marios (Sandymount)
2 Sandymount Green, Dublin 4, Sandymount, Dublin

ate here for a birthday meal last week and really enjoyed it. Prawns for starter, were a generous portion as were the other starters, Chicken and Asparagus Pasta for main, couldn't fault for a pasta dish. Pizzas are very large portion. dessert was lovely, would recommend the banoffi pie. the 2 course meal plus glass of wine was 20 euro, well worth the money. The service was average, however it was very quick and efficient.

Mulberry Restaurant and Wine Bar
Unit 14 Barna Village Centre, Barna, Galway

i haVe eaten here seVeral times and usually i loVe it. last time i went wasnt as enjoyable as usual. the main dissapointment was down to the serVice which is usually great. a gentleman serVed us who just seemed to not want to be there. the food was extemely slow and it wasnt at all busy. the waiter in queston didnt apologise for this at all although a female member of staff did kindly ask if we were ok when she saw us waiting for such a long time. we both had garden pasta which was aVerage and took way too long to come. I had icecream rolled n nuts for dessert which was really nce but again took way too long for ice cream. I will go back again hopefully they were just haVing a bad eVening.

Martines Restaurant & Wine Bar
21 Quay Street, Galway, Galway City, Galway

went here with my boyfriend he had soup i had mussels to start.. soup was cold and tasteless the mussels were tasty but small portion compared to other restaurants.for mains i had steak which was ok but nothing spectacular. my partner had scallops which were dissapointing they strongly tasted of just oil and were a small portion for the money.. the serice was excellent a great friendly waitress.although i had a booking we were sat at a small cramped table in the bar beside lots of drinkers who were quite rowdy and it was right in the main door so freezing!! thanfully the staff happily changed our table on request... wouldnt eat here again
