Blue Cafe Bar
Harbour Road Skerries, Skerries, Dublin

Tried to attend this place on Sunday 18th Nov - Asked could they cater for a family of 5, was informed yes - got all the kids out of the car, to be then informed - no - 1 hour wait!!! Rude staff Bad service, very unpolite staff. Have been here before and yes it is busy and food is good- but there are ways to treat / respect Valued Customers. There are better places in Skerries to spend your valued money!

Harveys Bar and Grill Restaurant (Above Harvest Bar & Lounge)
Main Street, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

went out for an early bird and found the menu had changed and had 30% less on the midweek menu. Could not find something that really set me alight. Got a Bud, but in a warm glass ( not ice cold). The place was very quite and for € 16 (approx) each, the food was not the best compaired to other places around. I had a Beef Fatiheta and my wife had the chicken one. We left approx 50% of it there. All in all wound not recommend it if you have paid a babysitter and have paid for a taxi and so on. sorry!!

Karma Thai
12 Mill Street, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

This place is a must!! the food is amazing both for dine in and takeaway. They have seperate menus for both but will cater for anything you wont. The Cococnut Rice is amazing and the TIA RED CURRY is out of this world. no complaints on this place. The only thing is its not busy mid week - they seem to be out the door with takeaway but in this economic enviorment you cant expect places to be full mid week!!

Indie Spice Grill
Burgundy House, New Street, North Co. Dublin, Swords, Dublin

Went with the family for there early bird lunch - 2 course - €8.95 The place is really nice and the food was beautiful, spicey and very tasty. For that price i don't think you will beat it. I have also had takeaway here and it is to really nice. No complaints - all plates were empty in the end! :)

The Beach House Restaurant (Bray)
The Seafront, Strand Road, Bray, Wicklow

I visited this place last night after work. Was working in the aera so poped in from some food alone. I have to admit i was very surprised! The location is excellent, the facilities and the view were amazing. I had the soup which was a Tia Style Soup which was lovely and with there home made bread. I didnt have a main as it was a bit late so got there chicken wings and chips which were no issues to the staff and were lovely. Closest to the Chichen wings server in Blue in Skerries! Overall a palce well worth the visit. - also very kiddy friendly - will be bringing mine with me next time!!

Bombay Bistro
55, Main Street, Rush, Rush, Dublin

I have had takeouts here and find them to be the best in North Dublin. I decided to go for a meal with friends and have to say the food was excellent, however the mains were quite large and as a result the price was very high. The service is excellent as not to busy and the atmosphere is also good. I would recommend however maybe order 1 starter and 2 mains as you will be full and may leave a lot on your plate.

Balrothery Inn
Balrothery, Balbriggan, Balbriggan, Dublin

Have been here a few times and as previous comments have said it can be a bit of a hit and miss. The service and atmosphere are excellent in my opinion however the sitting area is less then appealing for the price you pay for the food. I have had the starters on many occassions and only been let down once with there beef soup- but my partner got the cheese in breadcrumbs and that was lovely. We had the half joint Roast and the burger and both were fair but not exceptional. For a good time here i would recommend a few drinks and ordering there platters as they are lovely and always hit the spot.
