Easily the best Pizza in Dublin. Service is very efficient , quick & friendly. Cheap & very cheerful . I love this place for lunch. If I dont have time to stop I always run in and get some Pizza to go ( my kids would kill me if I came home from town without it)

Have eaten here many times over the last few years. Service is ALWAYS impeccable . The wine list very pleasent and reasonable . The early diner option very reasonable and therefore makes it a very good option for families on a fri or Sat eve. The dish to die for has to be the Toffee apple desert ( I am not a desert person but i dream about this) However , recently I have noticed that the size of the serving on maincourse has been halved . The standard remains excellent, but it means that while I am happy , my DH leaves hungry and is therefore reluctant to visit. The room is beautiful but never really full . I think they may need to look at marketing this gem rather than cutting costs on the portion size.

Carluccio's Caffe
52 Dawson Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

always a favourite for a lunch stop when in town . However this time I experienced an irritable & bad tempered front of house . She wouldn't let us queue as my partner wasn't with us (even though I explained that he was just putting bags into the car). We were not allowed take a table for 4 as the 4th person was not with me . May have been something to do with the fact that I had two small kids . Another staff member took pity on me with the kids and beckoned me to come upstairs when the manager's back was turned. Partner arrived within minutes . we waited a half hour to get served!!! what was all the fuss about?? Anyhow when eventually the food arrived , I cheered up because it was excellent , I would definitely go back as the food is so good and perhaps that girl was just having a bad day .

The Wild Goose Grill
First Floor, Above McSorleys, 1 Sandford Road, Dublin 6 , Ranelagh, Dublin

the place was buzzing , the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating even when one of my guests requested a starter dish as a main course with a different salad and to be main course size . Couldn't have been happier with our evening . as always

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner with a group here at end of Feb, We were the first to be seated upstairs which is not as nice as the main bar . It soon filled up so that helped . The food was great and plentiful and including wine worked out at about 35 per person. service was pleasent but a little slow.Would reccomend here for a quick bite . Its not really a place you would sit all night.
