I have been going to Cafe Boulevard on and off for breakfast for several months now. The French Toast is the best that I have found so far in Dublin, it really is very good. I like the filter coffee too which tastes fresh and flavourful. The waiter at this time of day is both really nice and really good at his job. This isn't a cheap cafe, but the quality makes it very good value as far as I'm concerned.

I visited and had the early-bird menu. The restaurant feels like somewhere to go for a special meal as you arrive. It continues throughout your stay. The fish was very fresh and beautifully cooked, the deserts were superb. I watched the waiter treating each table differently, he was a chameleon able to provide each table exactly with their needs, whether a couple, a table of ladies or a business person dining alone. Superb. The a la carte looks expensive but the early bird was reasonably priced, especially for the total package received.

Bloom Brasserie & Wine Bar
11 Upper Baggot Street, Dublin 4, City Centre South, Dublin

Good food, well cooked. A bit pretentious though. The room was a bit gloomy but otherwise the atmosphere was very good. Service was good.

This is much as you would expect. Lots of atmosphere, good service, average food in large portions.

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

A good restaurant. This is clearly popular and well liked locally. I had their rack of ribs, which was the best that I have had in Dublin. It wasn't as big as I was expecting, but by the end of the meal I was full. The waiter was very attentive. On the early bird menu it was very good value. The only negative was that I found the restaurant a little gloomy and noisy. This should not put you off.
