Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Koh is a restaurant that we visit now and then and it never dissappoints,i phoned today to see could i get a reservation for four people, he said he could fit us in, then i pushed customer services to see could we get room 101(alcove)as it was my sister and brother in laws 26th anniversary and they were over from london to celebrate, they had never been to KOH,and wasnt really sure my sister would eat ,as she is very picky eater, more chipper or fast food person. when we arrived alcoves were busy, and we got a lovely booth down back,we were having our delicious starters when we told alcove was empty,so we moved there after starter,we all really enjoyed our starters, mains, and dessert, even my very fussy sister, Four glasses of complimentary bubbly were brought to our table. Evening was really lovely, and i would like to thank every member of staff that looked after us this evening for making it a very special evening for sister and brother in law.will have to make sure next visit is soon

Captain America's Blanchardstown
Unit 40 Blanchardstown, Retail Park 2 Extension Dublin, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

We were a party of four, first visit for all of us to Captain america, when we arrivedwe were advised it would be a 30 minute wait, which it was. We were waiting in a very busy area, surprised they dont do beepers here for when table is ready. We got a table by window, right under a speaker unfortunately. We shared cajun wings which quickly dissappeared, they were very tasty.and enough for four of us. We all had different burgers, some with chilli fries, some wedges, seasoned fries etc,we ordered two sides of cajun sauce, not expecting two large bowls.lol All food was very tasty and enjoyed by all. We then opted for sharing dessert, which the four of us could not finish. Restaurant was very busy,be prepared to wait for a table here, but worth it.

PJs Restaurant
Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, South Co. Dublin, Killiney, Dublin

We just had breakfast here,we were guests in hotel.and i had read good reviews on the breakfast. We were seated at a lovely seat, sofa style on one side, private but still very much part of restaurant. We ordered tea coffee and toast, which was brought promptly. They had such an array of food on offer, beautiful fruit, with differnt seeds to top it with, very tasty,i had pineapple and grapes. Hot food was grease and fat free,i had bacon, sausages, tomato white pudding, and something i never have out, scrambled egg,as i am very fussy, but it looked just the way i liked it,andwas lovely. I couldnt leave without trying pastries,so i had a danish, and a lovely muffin,NO i am not a large lady, size 10,but food here was lovely. I have since heard about their sunday lunch and hope i make it back here sometime for it.

Dungeon Bar & Grill
Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel, Killiney, Dublin

We were staying in hotel and had dinner as part of our deal, when we arrived 10 minutes early we were seated immediately, restaurantwas very busy. Menu was explained as it was a set menu with our deal. There was breadsticks ,dips and jug of water brought to table. I had bbq wings, for starter, dover sole grilled banana ,chutney and chunky chips for main, and sticky pudding for dessert,my partner had soup, leek and potato. and steak and chips for main,he did not have dessert. There was a wait for food ,due to it been so busy, but we were told by waitress when she took order,so it was fine. My partner had to ask for a steak knife, and the one he was brought kept leaking water from the wood,he found it annoying. Food was all devoured and we enjoyed athmosphere in restaurant.

Tante Zoes
1 Crow Street, Temple Bar, Temple Bar, Dublin

I used to LOVE tantes, and have previously given it great review, its been quite a while since i have been here, and have to say i would never go back. We had a Deal from another site,we were only people in restaurant, the deal included a lot of food, which seemed a great selection and variety. However while it looked appetising,it was anything but,all the different dishes were tough, not hot, inedible. They were also OUT of my first two choices even though it was 4pm on friday, and not long open.i did not each much, partner ate more than me,we both have uncomfortable cramps all evening I cannot see this restaurant surviving very long. very dissapointing

Eddie Rockets - (Travel Lodge)
Coonagh Roundabout, Limerick City, Limerick City, Limerick

First time at this Eddie Rockets, very convenient if staying at travelodge,i believe there is an entrance from hotel into restaurant. Floor was clean, dry but very slippy for some reason. We had a starter of cajun wings to share as a starter, they were very small, but lots in bowl and very enjoyable. Rest of food came to our table HOT,i saw it put under heaters, and was brought promplty to table. Staff were pleasant..i see another reviewer has said ER is pricey, however lovely chicken fillet burger, bowl of seasoned fries and a soft drink for 10euro,table service, hardly expensive. They also do a great student deal for two meals, with drinks burgers fries drinks for two people for 13euro.

JD's Steakhouse
4 Rathfarnham Road, Dublin 6W, Terenure, Dublin

This was our first visit to JDs,i purchased the menupages offer quite a few months ago,but hadnt used it.Was looking forward to visit as i had heard great reviews. We arrived approx 40 mins early,we were asked to would we take a seat at bar, which we did for a few minutes, staff were apoligetic, even though we were very early. We were given main menu to choose our four courses from, with NO supplements for steak etc. I had wings, which literally fell of the bone, and were very enjoyable,my partner had bruschetta, which he enjoyed...we both had Fillet steak, one with chips, one with baked potato, both with pepper sauce, all very enjoyable. Then for desert we had baileys cheesecake and mousse cake with flake ,malteser etc, cannot remember what it was called.both served with fresh cream, desserts didnt feel like they were chilled,(only gripe)tea and cappucchino. ALL staff were exrtremely friendly, didnt feel rushed, and certainly were not treated as if we were there because we had a menupages deal.....will def return to jds

Jack B Yeats Bistro
The Lady Gregory Hotel, Ennis Road, Gort, Galway

Ate here twice in one day as i was staying in hotel, first was lunch ,soup and panini which was enjoyable, and evening was chilli chicken strips and baileys cheesecake,a party member had large steak, mash and onion which two people shared and said it was so tender and tasty, approx seven people sampled it and all thought it was lovely.meals were finished for evening, yet they served us,and then set up space for approx 15 more hungry people, staff were so so helpfulin every way.

Grogans and Nannie Murphys Sea Food and Steak Bar
Glasson, Athlone, Westmeath

Was looking forward to eating here, taxi driver raved about it,heard before hand it was good, and locals seemed to frequent it also. First impression ,it was freezing, men were sitting at tables eating with big overcoats on,a small fire was lit and couple in front of it also had there coats on,staff member then opened an outer door and blasted us out of it,i closed it and as i did so read the sign stating to keep door closed,my partner asked a member of staff about heat and she was quiet rude, other staff were pleasant,i ordered chicken ,was told it was a crown however it was in fact a tiny crown,it was approx 65euro for two,i would not return

Singapore Flame
Maynooth Road, Celbridge, Kildare

Visited with friends, first time here, didnt know what to expect as other reviews had mentioned decor etc been in need of facelift.we had a very good evening here, staff were very pleasant all evening, and efficient.we all had different starters and mains, and unlike a lot of chinese as it is attached to a pub, there was a full selection of drinks, food was tasty and i suspect no msg as no bloating after it.didnt see bill, friends paid so cant really quote on value aspect, would certainly go back.

9th Lock Road, Nangor Road, West Dublin, Clondalkin, Dublin

Visited with friends,a party of four,we had early bird menu,i had chiken satay, chicken kung po and toffee icecream, all of dishes we had were very tasty, food was hot and served in midle of table ,so we could choose from each plate, rice was so fluffy, bill was under 90e for four three course meals with tea coffee, bottle wine, two lots of prawn crackers etc. we were each given a set of chop sticks leaving,a lot of celebrations when we were there, they do the cake and candle(free)and party poppers, and sing happy birthday, will def be back.

Silks Chinese Restaurant
5 The Mall , Co. Dublin, Malahide, Dublin

This restaurant was recommended to us,however i really wanted to try elsewhere as i was not impressed by previous reviews,we were staying in a nearby hotel,we got a taxi to malahide and had a look around, decided to try silks,as we approached we met two american gents leaving, asked was it nice and they said it was lovely. Got a table within minutes,we had delight platter, which was beautiful, then i had kung po.and OH had spicy chicken, and we both had fried rice,i also had pavlova, and OH had irish coffee,we also had drinks, bill was 92 euro,we enjoyed food here ,however we prob should not have had the delight as there was too much food.

Boiled Onion CLOSED
32 Shop st, Drogheda, Drogheda, Louth

Tried to get a table here before ,was fully booked out,so when we were in drogheda at weekend we tried again and successfully got a booking. i had chicken wings for starter(which was not on menu)beef medallions, and baileys and toblerone cheesecake, was a mistake with my main course,i ordered pepper sauce on side, however it was on meat, rectified immediately, meal was delicious, and staff were so friendly and extremely helpful,if in area make sure not to give this restaurant a miss, dont let name put you off,or stairway into it.

Eddie Rockets (O Connell Street)
O' Connell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

I Love eddie rockets, however this one needs to be shut down and revamped, its dinghy and dirty, and not best enviroment for eating, was in a hurry and went here in,take my advice, walk to dame street, much better.service was slow and food wasnt great, first time i had bad food in ER.wouldt go back

profile_review

TGI Friday (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, Dublin 15, Blanchardstown, Dublin

Was looking forward to eating here.however was very disappointed, waitress was very friendly, ribs were lovely, however burger and fries were a let down, had to wait for table, even though plenty were empty, think this is just a ploy to get you spending at bar.

profile_review

The Bank on College Green
20-22 College Green, City Centre South, Dublin

I Love the bank for a drink, always very busy, with great atmosphere,i love their beer pie and their wedges are so YUMMY,and the big fire when you walk in as welcoming as the staff.

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Blanchardstown)
Blanchardstown Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Blanchardstown, Dublin

This is my favourite eddies, busy today, but then it is xmas shopping season, service was a bit slow, but friendly.food was delicious as always, didnt stop for dessert ,too much shopping to do.

profile_review

Hard Rock Cafe
12 Fleet Street, Dublin 2, City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I Love HARD ROCK cafes, however this one is a real disappointment.we were brought to a table downstairs in a VERY cramped area.food was ok,however this place is not worth a visit,a big let down.would not go back

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Liffey Valley)
Liffey Valley Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Be prepared to queue for this eddie rockets, dont think i have ever got a seat straight away, usually Q outside, but as its in a shopping center ,not really a problem, and they usually give you menu to go over and Qusually moves quite fast,i think this and blanchardstown are the best eddies, and dame street next, all food was lovely and desserts are devine,i love smartie one.staff are EXTREMLY pleasant without been overbearing.

profile_review

Eddie Rockets (Dame Street)
Dame Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Have not visited here since they renovated,as always servive was friendly and efficient, wings are really tasty,as was chicket fillet and fries,i love eddies as a place to eat when shopping

profile_review

Jimmy Chungs
Eden Quay, City Centre North, Dublin

Have eaten here a few times and always enjoyed it,but it had been a while so i read reviews before going.it recommended not to go at 5pm.anyway we arrived at 3 mins to five and i must say,i wish we had waited half an hour. lunch is up to 4.30pm and you have to leave by 5pm,so food is left hanging around,it was barely warm, however after i had eaten i went back to buffet at 5.20 and food was very hot then, but i was full. So i def would not go back between 4 /5.30 in the future

profile_review

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

I got a 25 euro voucher for Luigis from Menupages rewards, so decided to try it, first visit. We popped in and booked a table then had a couple of drinks, went back, got our table immediately. We had large wings to share, they were gorgeous. I had double chicken breast, partner had steak, then i had double choc sundae, tall glass like knicker bocker glory. Partner had MEANING OF LIFE dessert. Told him to ask what it was, but he didn't and he didn't like it. I had toblerone cocktail to round off the evening, strongest one i ever had. Waiter was very very efficient, friendly. Would def go back, food was lovely.

National Library Of Ireland, Kildare Street, City Centre South, Dublin

Dropped in here for a cup of tea and cake. Had the most delicious sticky gooey toffee cake. OH had cappuccino and black forest. Nicely presented and tasted like more...people around us had salmon, soup etc. All nicely presented....see there is a brambles opening in jervis centre also.

First visit here. We were seated immediately, early Sunday evening. Waiter was very pleasant, food was super quick arriving. Didn't have starter or dessert as we were not very hungry. RiverBank Restaurant @ The Court Yard Hotel
Main Street, Leixlip, Kildare

Ate here for first time, came highly recommened, and had been thinking of staying in hotel at some stage as i read it was voted most romantic,we arrived for dinner and were asked to wait a while to be seated, then they forgot about us,but offered us a complimentary bottle of wine,my food was fine, however 3 people with me were not too pleased, not cooked as requested,The noise in restaurant was unbelievable,as there was a race night on,which made for a very unpleasant evening, shouting to be heard, waitress couldnt apoligise enough, but it wasnt her doing,i put on comment card i would return, but not sure that i would, plenty of restaurants around that provides a good ambience.

Pagoda Chinese Restaurants
Castletroy Limerick, Castletroy, Limerick

Visited here while in Limerick, we were a party of eight. Service was very very prompt, however we did have restaurant to ourselves. But it was very early when we arrived, everyone emptied their plates for all courses, and desserts where not your usual Chinese type, but were restaurant standard, would recommend this restaurant.

profile_review

Slevin's Pub
Main Street, Dunboyne, Meath

Had Saturday lunch here, was quiet disappointed as we had checked there extensive menu on menupages first, however what was on offer on the day was quiet a lot less. I had plaice and chips, partner had burger with bacon and cheese, he found it quite hard to eat it as it was very dry and could not finish it, plaice was mediocre as were chip's expected more than this.

profile_review

Ho Wun Chinese Takeaway & Restaurant
2 Main Street, Dunboyne, Meath

Thiswas 2nd time here, first visit was a few years ago. Restaurant was fairly empty,as we had early meal,we were staying close by in Dunboyne castle. Service was very attentive ,courteous, and pleasant. Food was lovely and piping hot,i had chicken curry, partner had kung po.wealso had chicken balls in batter.for starters we had spring rolls, soup, and dessert was choc biscuit dessert, and ice cream.16e for three course meal, all evening, all staff wished us a nice evening as door was held open ,nice to be served in ireland by pleasant staff

profile_review

Da Panza Restaurant
1 Yeats Centre, Dunboyne, Meath

Had a meal here last night, VERY disappointing. Had bbq chicken wings for starter, which I did not enjoy. Partner had bruschetta which he did enjoy. We both had steak: mine with chips, his with wine sauce and potatoes. Wine sauce never arrived at table and any time we tried to get staff they were going into kitchen or already there. Potatoes were BLAND and dry ,chips inedible. I always have dessert but quite frankly could not wait to get out that I did not ask for menu. This restaurant is tiny and should give a nice cosy feel, but it only gives a feeling of incompetence. Will NOT return

profile_review

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

Third time here and have to say, there has been NO sliding of standars since they first opened, great food, great service, happy staff, great food, what more could you want,i had early bird menu, ribs that melted in my mouth, chicken with cashew nuts and delectable banoffee pie. in bar i had a banoffee pie cocktil, first time, they do a great selection of cocktails, early in evening.7pm and they had to turn people away,in a recession. last week they won food and drink award, many more to come over the years..have my table booked for two weeks time. well done lads, keep up the good work

The Ballyneety Bar
The Lucan Spa Hotel, Junction 4A, Westbound N4, Lucan, Lucan, Dublin

Have eaten here twice in last month, both in very large groups, the 1st was a communion and food was disappointing, the second it was hard to believe it was same restaurant, food was far more superior quality, I had creamy veg soup, turkey and ham, and cheesecake, all was delicious, everyone enjoyed their food immensely and staff were very child friendly and looked after them so well.

profile_review

Thunder Road Cafe
Fleet Street, Dublin 2, Temple Bar, Dublin

I absolutely love thunder road, been eating here for years, but hadn’t visited in a while, so Saturday evening I decided I would like to go, my partner and I shared a platter starter which was nice, my partner had a huge t bone steak, and I had Cajun fish, followed by burnt meringue dessert, and Irish coffee for Oh, atmosphere was fabulous, great music, brilliant waitress, magnificent food. However after an hour we were informed that we should have vacated our table 5 mins earlier,(I was still eating) apparently our table was been used as part of a group booking and waitress thought we were told by a member of staff before we were seated that the table was needed in an hour, but we were not informed.....Brilliant restaurant, bad business.

profile_review

Princess Garden of Lucan
Esker Hill, Lucan, Lucan, Dublin

This is a great restaurant to go to with a crowd, buffet restaurant, all you can eat for 15 euros and plenty to select from even for fussy eaters, table is allocated for 1.5 hours and atmosphere is really good when busy, best buffet I have ever visited

profile_review

China House (Parnell Street)
180 Parnell Street, City Centre North, Dublin

This is a great find....first heard of this restaurant on menu pages, very simple place, no lace tablecloths or fine cutlery, but fabulous food, very cheap.... food first... my partner is a real chicken curry person and swears this is best chicken curry he ever had, think he dreams about it. I had sweet and sour like I have never seen before ,huge pieces, ribs were lovely as was rest of meal, when you see Chinese eating in a restaurant you know its going to be good, and the place opens early and stays open all day, give it a try ,you wont regret it

profile_review

Tsangs Restaurant
