have been here before but WON'T come back again. has gone way downhill since opening. went as a group of 3 girls. 2 of us left behind half our burgers. they were badly undercooked. apparently if u dont specify how u like it done it comes pink+bloody. not sure how safe that is with mince met.why didnt the waiter ask us how we'd like it??? i got the tladi. 12.50 so expensive!!! the menu said smoked applewood cheese, apple and jo relish. i presumed the apple would b in the relish, chopped up tiny. but no ....3 slices of apple were in the burger all warm and disgusting! i agree with the below review. i took out the majority of my lettuce too. they could at least chop it up.i made a mini salad on the side with all the excess tomato and onion(which also could have been chopped up)... however the saving grace of this place is their sweet potato fries. absolutely delish. used the red spicy sauce on the table but had to put it on a napkin as no plates were supplied.cool decor though.

Great quality food. Portions large. Service very attentive. Will be back. \n\nHowever, the MUSIC needs to be updated badly. Corrs and Celine Dion anyone?

Great place. Come here often for brunch & dinner. Suitable for groups & couples alike!

The Chop House Gastro Pub
2 Shelbourne Road, City Centre South, Dublin

I would recommend this place for everything but the atmosphere. Perhaps it was just the night I went (end of Nov, before the Xmas rush) but it seemed quiet, cold and clinical, despite the Xmas decorations, twinkling lights etc. Food is good restaurant quality. Not pub grub at all.

Pacifico Restaurant & Grill
Marine Court, The Green, Malahide, Malahide, Dublin

EXCELLENT. Went here 4 the 1st time in early May and have been twice since in the last month!!! Food is so tasty, fresh and flavourful. Really good quality. Nice servers also. Best Mexican place in Dublin by far.

Kudos Restaurant (IFSC)
Clarion Hotel Dublin, IFSC, City Centre North, Dublin

Bad experience. Awful rushed hap- hazard atmosphere due to the location beside a door which kept opening and closing, allowing cold wind to pour in and beside a TV where a loud match was being aired. Not a relaxing restaurant vibe at all. Also very poor staffing levels and training... Used voucher which SHOULD HAVE allowed us to choose from a set menu but a lot of the choices were unfortunately unavailable. e.g We were shown 3 desserts on the menu and told there was no choice as there was only one available. Pretty poor standand all round.

Vanilla Pod Restaurant
Headfort Arms Hotel, Kells, Meath

Had an enjoyable meal here after Christmas, while staying in the hotel next door. Excellent service, value for money and atmosphere. Food was mostly hit but sometimes miss in our party of 8 girls. The duck confit was delicious except for the overpowering marmalade-like sauce. The crab legs also were overpowered by a creamy sauce. Less is more!!! Would recommend though.

Yamamori Izakaya
12/13 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Great food but everything else poor. Went here using the menupages deal. The deal had said you could have ANY starter, ANY main course etc but really, you had to choose from a set menu. When we brought this to their attention, they said they ''would make their adds clearer in future''. Not really good enough, I think. The place was crazy busy with not half enough staff and despite the girls trying their best, we were left waiting a long time, on numerous occasions. ie when we were given our menus, we had to wait 15mins to order. Once we ordered, our food took 45mins! The cocktails were so strong, they were undrinkable, despite me asking for more juice in it. Asked for water a few times and it was forgotten. The food was extremely tasty and beutifully presented so fair play to the kitchen but these service negatives made for a chaotic unrelaxing night out. Won't be back.

Bits and Pizzas
15 Patrick Street, Dun Laoghaire, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin

Lovely place, if a little hard to find! very good, kind, efficient service from the staff. Ate here last night, as a table for four, with my 30euro voucher from menupoints. As a gang, we enjoyed chicken skewers, bruschetta, calzone, pizzas, lasagne, banoffee, cheesecake and wine. Loved all of it. Very pleasant place. Might spend another 3000 menupoints on another visit!!! :)

Love the pizza! got Bianca and boyf got Hero. both thoroughly enjoyed. will definitely b back. We booked-much advised. Qs crazy! only negative is the value. The starter we got was average and pricey. it was mozzarella balls and very small for the dear price of 8.50.

Lovely Authentic Italian Experience!!! all waiters speaking Italian (Buongiorno, Grazie, etc)! Met my friend 4 lunch so didnt order much. had a cafelatte with a pear, goat's cheese, honey and walnut salad. while my friend enjoyed a seafood risotto.good choice on the menu and will definitely be back. just found out there is one in IFSC too!

Mohana
Main Street, Maynooth, Maynooth, Kildare

Lovely place. got a take away of 1starter, 2naans, 2mains+2rices+and spent 35euro.staff extremely kind and attentive.2 bottles of cobra thrown in 4free! they reccomended that next time we should spend 40 euro and have the deal where u get2 3course dinners+ a bottle of wine. I would agree that they could make things a bit spicier but everything very tasty. it was a sunday at 7 when we called in 2 collect our food and the restaurant was empty, but i can imagine it would be nice on a busy night.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

AWFUL! shocked at the good reviews.got 3 bites and 2 out of 3 were disgusting. the chicken wings were grand but the cod brandad and duck beef sandwich were terrible. the former being very bland and the latter tasted like sick. horrendous.the service was bad too. rude, unproffessional, and when we asked for the bill it took 30 mins, before we got it. we also were never asked if we were enjoying the food. got 3 starters then, 2 crab mayonaise and 1 chorizo, bean minestrone which were actually a big improvement, in fairness.value was good but i wouldnt get the steaks as they are approx 27 euro and you apparently have to cook it yourself on the stone at the table and I personally dont come out to dine, to end up cooking.WON'T BE BACK!

lovely on a sunny day, out in the conservatory!!!! a little bit hit and miss but will defo be back. fantastic, helpful, relaxed staff. .... i had gorgeous pate followed by gorgeous duck and goegeous sticky toffee pudding!!! my boyf wasnt so successful. he had a small very ungenerous portion of prawn cocktail followed by a fatty poor quality steak. loved his lemon cheesecake though.

La Mere Zou
22 St Stephens Green, Dublin , City Centre South, Dublin

horrible way to treat customers. went 4 early bird. loved the food and atmosphere but the staff practically threw us out at the end. we just paid the bill, after lovely starter, main course and desert each and they said we better leave now as there were other ppl here 4 r table. i had about 2 mouthfuls of wine left and they proceeded 2 come over twice more in the next 3 minutes. very annoyed. we had just spent around 90 quid and we were pretty much escorted off the permises. awful.complained in the restaurant and rang to complain once i arrived home also. no apology offered.shocking!!!

The Blackboard Bistro
The Basement, 4 Clare Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

mixed thoughts on this place. rubbish atmosphere. so quiet and a little cold both in temperature and ambience. it tries to be charming and quaint but doesnt quite succeed. i did find the flavours delicious though! i really enjoyed my haddock with salsa. gnocchi was delicious also.my boyfriend did not like his steak and found it fatty and poor quality.

profile_review

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

had hake, which i usually love. was served in a banana leaf. gorgeous presentation but tasted bland and not fresh. most of our group disatisfied with their dishes. wife had prawn noodles. only had 4 prawns. too sweet also. chocolate biscuit cake beautiful but tiny.

profile_review

Luigi Malones Restaurant
5/6 Cecilia Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

average. nice food but nothing extraordinary. got piping hot delicious gambas al allijo for starters, a beautiful fillet mignon for main with boring sides...a dissappointing toblerone cheesecake for desert. it was nothing like toblerone-not very creamy,a small portion and for over 7 euro, not good value. service rude at times. water not topped up. wont come back.so many better places in dublin. this 1 purely for the tourists.

profile_review

Dada Restaurant
45 South William Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

lovely surroundings, gorgeous tables, plates etc. wanted to know where they got their stuff. food very well cooked. meat so tender. got harira soup and chicken couscous. both very tasty.however, some minor complaints.... staff badly trained. lack of communication between them.they were very pleasant so i dont blame them , just management. also it was very cold where we were situated near the door. the bar was badly stocked also. no vodka or bacardi. would return. great value for food. not so much for drinks.... 6.50 for a malibu , then 3.00 for a coke. scandalous!

profile_review

Il Vicoletto
5 Crow Street (Next to Foggy Dew Pub), Dublin 2 , City Centre, Temple Bar, Dublin

horrendous experience...here with a group of 12 ppl. barely enough space to budge. waited 40 mins for starters, then another 40 mins for the mains. which were bad. ordered bruschetta, tasteless with no olive oil. steak was cold and pepper sauce with it was horrible. their sole objective was to keep us filled up with wine for the evening, obviously the wine has a higher mark up.

profile_review

profile_review

Canal Bank Cafe
146 Upper Leeson Street, Dublin 4, Ballsbridge, Dublin

couldnt agree more with the reviewer just below. although the food is good, i wont be returning as the floor staff are awful. they were extremely blase, rude and just enjoying each others company. ignoring the customers like they were a nuisance to be put up with. the maitre d, tried to sit us a a horrible dark window seat, clearly to make the place look full but we declined. they tried the same trick with the customers after us, then tutted as soon as those people declined it too. WE CAN SEE YOU! felt very unwelcome. the staff ate their dinner beside us in the main restaurant. quite unproffessional.

profile_review

Bella Cuba Restaurant

good food but a bit ...Faulty Towers! went on a monday night so maybe thats why! you go up a tiny narrow stairs and the toilets are on the left.very poky! once we were seated the waiter began to tell us everything they didnt have in stock!anyway, had the early bird. gr8 value. 2 courses 17euro. 20 if u add a beer.i started with plantains and guac, while my boyf had patatas bravas. both delightful. then for the mains,we opted for chicken chorizo and steak with chimichuri. again both so tasty and interesting.very well cooked too. would go again.

Shocked at the awful reviews here! My friend and I went on a Tues for lunch... So maybe it was good because it was so quiet. We got spaghetti bolognese and the burger with salad, followed by the chocolate souffle to share. All very tasty! The decor was cool too; white, silver and soft lime green. Real pure, modern and organic looking. They had plants on each table. Nice touch! service was good too. Had no problems!

The peanuts, figs etc worked so well. Lapped it up! Would recommend. Scallops for main. Lovely but portion and price way too much, though. 29 euro. Only ate half of it. Next time I’ll ask for a half portion maybe? Or go for 2 starters? Love the decor, especially the oversized hanging baskets. Ceiling is horrible though! Sort it out.

But my boyf wz not impressed with his (Chicken Ramen- Soup and noodles topped with slices of grilled chicken breast, seasonal greens, menma and spring onions). Got an absolutely gorgeous desert. (White Chocolate & Ginger Cheesecake- Creamy baked white chocolate and ginger cheesecake on a crunchy biscuit base, served with a candied orange compote and a lightly spiced chilli-ginger toffee sauce)! Divine! Might even come bk just 4 that!

have been here before but WON'T come back again. has gone way downhill since opening. went as a group of 3 girls.

Went here one evening randomly. Good 4 pub grub. It has to be said. Ate a chicken burger. Their famous spiced diced potatoes are gorgeous! Service not great. Very unenthusiastic staff.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Have been 4 special occasions a few times. Always telling ppl about it! Restaurant is fabulous. Beautiful interesting architecture. Suede walls, need I say more! Food is divine. Oh and the wood fired prawns, deep fried brie + cheesecake r my fave. Staff dancing to attention! Great place.

Paparazzi
Unit 4 Old River House, Templeogue, Dublin

Went here with my parents on sat nite. The place was really busy! Great lively atmosphere!.... BUT SOooooooooooo NOISY. Could hardly hear what each other were saying.food+wine very nice+good quality. Staff really helpful, funny+friendly...especially the owner, who was not2 busy give clients his full attention. Decent value. Had gorgeous seafood linguine. Would also recommend the tiramisu. Would go again IF they sort out the acoustics problems. PERHAPS SOME CURTAINS, CUSHIONS +OTHER SOFT FURNISHINGS WOULD HELP???
