staff were friendly and just the right attention. the early bird special was ok value - compared to other restaurants in the area. Ok for a family get to gether where there was more chatting than eating. not great atmosphere for a romantic dinnerToscana City Centre restaurant

only problem with this place is popularity. we always end up under ground even when we book for upstairs. this time we were fed at 11 for an 8pm booking - no apology, no free wine. just left to go hungry

India Gate
1st Floor 26b Nutgrove Shopping Centre, South Dublin, Rathfarnham, Dublin
had a voucher as a gift. so keen to try it after take aways from here (always good). found it very expensive for very small quantity. seems the prices havent reduced for many years. meat was cheap cut. sag paneer good, but very expensive.

Little Jerusalem - Rathmines
3 Wynnefield Road, Dublin 6 , Rathmines, Dublin
we had read good reviews and popped into what looks like a doner kebab shop at the front and a cute cafe at the back. so looking towards back is needed to get atmosphere. we shared a mezza plate that was ok, but a bit expensive. the I had the worst meal I have ever had. about 50 gms of shin of lamb in little chunks on some yellow rice with 6 pine nuts and 7 pomegranate pieces. no taste at all and no vegies. staff didn't come to ask if we were ok. i should have sent it back, but i was so shocked with the poor food and the tiny portion. that we decided that we should leave asap and go somewhere else. my partners meal was only slightly better. room for improvement here

Siam Thai (Rathfarnham)
Eden House, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, Dublin
service was great, but the thai food missed basic thai ingredients that differentiate it. I asked and they said they are too hard to find. I know this is not so, as I had purchased them in a chinese supermarket a few days before.
