This is a really lovely restaurant. While it is very small, they make good use of space and it makes for a cosy atmosphere. It is really about the food here though. I think the lunch is such good value. Starters at €6 are superb. Duck liver creme was so smooth and tasty. Mains all €12 which again is so good for top class cooking. Pan roasted chicken had great flavour and the accompanying orzo and black pudding lifted it. You can byo wine but we had a lovely glass of red there. Great addition to the area.

Marco Pierre White Steakhouse & Grill
51 Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

What a good value early bird. Beautiful food. 2 courses about 23 quid. Had a gorgeous shrimp cocktail and pork chop main course which was really well cooked. The service is a real strong point. Very professional and don't bother you too much. Great Friday evening dining!

The Wild Goose Grill
First Floor, Above McSorleys, 1 Sandford Road, Dublin 6 , Ranelagh, Dublin

Had a really lovely Sunday lunch here. Salmon terrine starter was fabulous, very fresh salmon, lovely flavours. Really enjoyed the goose main course, and my husband thought the roast ribeye was very good. Came here with a menupages deal which included wine. It was a very good wine which was a nice surprise. This is definitely somewhere I would come back to without a voucher and pay normal prices. Nice treat.

Dobbins Restaurant
15 Stephen Lane, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Lovely dinner again here. Normally come for Sunday lunch so it was nice to be there for a change on a Saturday night. It was very busy which made for a good atmosphere. Beautiful lamb rump and ribeye steak. Good portion size. I find this restaurant consistently good.
