Another fab meal in 66, I dine here regularly. Had the €35 set menu, to start the Caesar which has in my opinion the best dressing in the city. I had the Salmon and my partner the Rib Eye, like how they cook the salmon slightly pink, I do this myself. Rib Eye was cooked perfectly also. Feeling very full after two courses and some lovely homemade fresh warm bread we both went for the cocktails for dessert, great option.

Fade Street Social - The Restaurant
Drury Street , City Centre South, Dublin

Had dinner with friends here and one word, WOW! WE tried the pork belly starter, breads, scallops to start, each were amazing. The mains included the Denver Roll, where you choose the weight preferred from the boards, loved this element. Also tried the veal which was the best veal I have ever had. Side orders are simple and delicious. The Rioja here is also an excellent choice. Great service and lovely surroundings also, looking forward to trying it again!

Cafe Provence
1 Church Road, Malahide, Dublin

I just moved to Malahide and had the early bird here for the first time on Saturday! Had the mussels followed by trout which were both delicious at the price of €17.95. My boyfriend had the chicken rillettes and bangers and mash, also very tasty. The place was very busy and service friendly and helpful. Great coffee too!

Nice but not amazing. Food was so so accross the board, none of us were blown away. Service was fine also but nothing special, this place could and should do much better.

Dined here a few days before Christmas and the food and service were lovely. My favourite here are the wok dishes, simple and full of flavour. Service was friendly from start to finish and the cocktails were to die for.

Darwins
80 Aungier Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Visited during December when generally standards drop, not the case here, it was excellent from start to finish. Staff were welcoming and kind to my older relatives, greatly appreciated. The bill was exceptional value for the quality of food and service.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Had not been here in a while but it is still as great. We were seated in the bar area of sixty6 which we loved. Ordered from the a la carte as we had a special email voucher for a complimentary main course. The service was excellent and food delicious, as always fantastic, look forward to a return visit.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Once again great meal here. This place is consistent, food, drinks and service always excellent. It is a busy noisy place and I took my mother and father but they kindly seated us somewhere a little less noisy and we all enjoyed the experience.

Rustic Stone
South George's Street, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

simply wonderful restaurant! I dined here with 5 friends and we all agreed that the food was delicious and different from anything we had ever tasted. I had the cod brandade and rib eye with prawn glaze on a stone, all of which I really enjoyed. Also recommended are the cocktails, the peartini was amazing! Service was very informative and friendly and we all agreed we would dine there again.

Dillingers
47 Ranelagh Village, Dublin 6, Ranelagh, Dublin

Great casual dining spot, always go for the rib eye here as it is so well cooked. Staff are helpful and very polite, I like the restaurant and it's cosiness, I guess some might find it cramped but its part of the design. I like it.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen (GBK Liffey Valley)

I eat here alot when I am at the movies here. Love the Habanero Burger, my mouth is watering as I write that! Service is always friendly and efficient, and the same staff are here a long time which is always a good sign, food is consistently tasty.

Koh
6-7 Jervis Street, Millennium Walkway, Dublin 1, City Centre, Italian Quarter, Dublin

I ate here a few weeks ago with my partner, was a bit disappointed by food, nothing spectacular, I went for the crab to start, which was a bit soggy, for mains I had the Spicy chicken with sweet basil, much better, however the cocktails made up for it! I indulged in the Blueberry Amaretto Sour, loved it! Will return to give the food another shot!

FIRE Restaurant and Lounge
Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2, Dawson Street, Dublin

I ate in fire at the mansion house just after new year. I'd always wanted to try it as everyone raved about how fabulous the rrom is. And it is fabulous however on the night the rest of the experience left me a little underwhelmed. Everything was fine, service was a little lifeless apart from the hostess who greeted us who was lovely, she gets the 4 points for service! The food was quite ok, however not something that would make me rush back. Maybe I got it on a bad night.

Pregos
Unit 2 Balloyowen Castle Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

this small local place over a local italian take away is not as it seems, the food here is a-mazing! I have eaten and recommended here many times, never any complaints. The pasta, pizza and steaks are delicious. The attention to presentation could be noted by many city centre restaurants too who serve sub standard Italian food. As mentioned by other reviewers the waiter here is also a credit to the place, he always recognises us and always serves with no complaints. Will be back soon, good job!

Saba
26-28 Clarendon Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

Ate here last Saturday with friends, had a wonderful meal. We also indulged in their wonderful cocktails, wow, delicious. Started with Duck Rolls which tasted fab, then tried their green curry, really nice. Place was packed and buzzing, staff rushed off their feet, was hard to get attention at times as they did appear understaffed. Despite this the food and atmosphere compensated, mark deducted only for lack of staff! Will return mid week though!

Pasta Fresca
2-4 Chatham Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

where do I begin...handsdown one of the worst experiences in dining in my life. we arrived for lunch, 3 of us, we were greeted rather abruptly by the manageress who ushered us to the tiniest table (despite the fact that the restaurant was practically empty) when we asked for a larger table we were shown to one closeby but in the rudest of manners. We spent just 50 minutes here and listened to her shout throughout the whole time we were there which really put us off what could have been quite a nice meal. The waitress and service was very nice, she even apologised! The pizza here is nice, the highlight of an awful experience, despite this we will not be returning..EVER!

The Market Bar
Fade Street, City Centre South, Dublin

met a girlfriend here today, was going to have a few tapas and our waiter informed us of the great offer of two tapas with a glass of wine included. Super value for money. Food was nice. Good customer service though, would come back for this!

Salamanca
1 St Andrews Street, Dublin 2, City Centre South, Dublin

love this place for a lazy afternoon of tapas and spanish music. I normally have the Paella but tried the special this time, only €25 for a selection of tapas for two which arrive at your table on fabulous tower. It's delish! we didn't even manage to finish it! Service is always friendly here and they run great wines of the week at great value.

Brasserie Sixty6
66/67 Great South Georges Street, Dublin 2 , City Centre South, Dublin

Try the oriental cocktail here is all I'll say, excellent. Still one of my favourite spots in Dublin, little pricy but worth it. If you're on a budget they have options but I always go for rotisserie when I'm there. Last time I had the duck, mouthwatering. Staff are all here a long time and know their menu, always good to reccomend and help, I had a few newbies with last time and they were delighted with recommendations.
