There are much better Chinese restaurants in Dublin. The main problems with the Orchid Restaurant are as follows: 1. The food is tasteless. I've tried a lot of their dishes and most are bland. Their Chinese sauces don't taste homemade. The sauces have an industrial flavour to them. 2. The portions are small. 3. They don't have a good selection of beers. 4. The price is out the roof. I mean it's a total insult to people to serve bland food and then charge them a lot for it. 5. They aren't clear on whether or not the fried rice comes with a meal. According to the menu some meals come with rice, but they always ask you if you want rice? I don't get it. 6. The fortune cookies are stale.The Orchid Restaurant

10 Top Reasons not to eat at Stoop Your Head: 1. The food is average and stir fry comes with a sauce that tastes like it came out of a packet. 2. The prices are too high for the small portions you get. Which is mean, especially during a recession. 3. There is never a table ready for you. I repeat, there is never a table. 4. The tables are too close together and you can't have a private conversation. 5. The wine is over priced. 6. The staff are miserable and over worked. Most look like they're all on the verge of tears. 7. The menu never changes (I gave them a bad review last year, and the menu hasn't changed). 8. The atmosphere is controlled chaos at best. 9. No one smiles there, not even the customers. 10. They aren't clear about which fish dishes on the menu include local fish from Skerries fishermen.
