Bijou was excellent, went with a large group the service was first class and the atmosphere was lovely since doing up the place.. The food itself was excellent well presented and nice gaps in between courses, it was good value for money and everyone had a great night will be spreading the word of this great restaurant and be returning for more!

The Egg Cafe (Avoca Rathcoole)
Naas Road, Rathcoole, Dublin

Ate Sunday lunch here recently, very impressed nice relaxed atmosphere and very good food. I had a lamb and potato baked pie - it was yum!! Very different menu but well worth a visit especially at such reasonable prices!!

Odessa
13 Dame Court, Dublin, City Centre South, Dublin

Went for the early bird here on a Friday night. Had a lovely evening, good menu, but I found the portions were small but the food was tasty. Very reasonable I must say 22 euro for starter, main course and tea/coffee. Only complaint was that I found it very dark but really had lovely meal. Will go back

Rody Bolands
12-14 Upper Rathmines Road, Rathmines, Dublin

The best pub grub in Rathmines, eat here often, big menu with loads to pick from, and very reasonable prices!! Bacon and cabbage is tasty and has nice friendly staff. You won't be kept waiting!

Deadman's Inn
Curtis Stream Old Lucan Road, Palmerstown, Dublin

Had lunch here recently, really good carvery menu, big portions and a vary of dishes. Pub is quite dark and lacks atmosphere but good for on the run lunch.

An Poitin Stil
Naas Road, Rathcoole, Dublin

Stopped here on at the weekend on route to cork, heard a lot about the food but must say I was disappointed, the bar was very busy and it was serving carver menu, which was not great and little choice!! There was no service, it was grab and eat with no atmosphere. The food was reasonable and not bad value wise but will not be returning anytime soon!

Arc Cafe Bar
Liffey Vallley Shopping Centre, Fonthill Rd, West Dublin, Liffey Valley, Dublin

Had a lovely quite meal here on a Friday evening, it was not busy so loads of free tables in a large area... Just had main course I had the korma and it was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time- fantastic!! The girlfriend had chicken stir fry said it was a small bit dry but lovely... to finish off we had fruit dish for dessert... Was not expecting much but was thankfully blown away... The food is great, service good and value good... Will be coming back soon!!

Howards Way (Rathgar)
8 Orwell Road, Dublin 6, Rathgar, Dublin

Had a great night at Howard’s Way recently hear a lot of good things about it so checked it out with my girlfriend. On arrival we were met at the door by a waiter who showed us to our seats. There was an early bird set menu all night as it was a Thursday 2 starters or deserts and mains with a free bottle of house wine for under 50 euro, which was great value. I had the chicken wings and steak and my girlfriend had soup and a chicken dish. The steak was lovely (a bit too much pepper sauce tho) but the chicken was to die for!! The service was good all night and although the room is small and close together you don’t mind for this quality food and service for such a reasonable price!! Will eat here again!!

The food was excellent with a nice menu, the restaurant is large and has an open design and is quiet dark inside with all adds to the atmosphere, the food ranges from spicy to mild and is reasonable value for money will definitely be coming back for more!!

New Good Year Chinese Restaurant
1st Floor Ballyowen Castle Shopping Centre, West Dublin, Lucan, Dublin

Get takeout quiet a bit from here!! It’s usually quite all right but nothing amazing (big portions) and a good sized menu!! The value for money is great however don’t think I would eat in the restaurant any time soon!!

La Banca Ristorante
Main Street, Lucan Village, Lucan, Dublin

At La Banca food was ok, nothing great had the pasta was messy and small bit cold. The girlfriend had chicken and loved it!! The service was good and it was not bad for value the only gripe I had about the restaurant was that only downstairs was open so it was a small bit cramped and loud. But overall a nice restaurant!!
